I think you should allow more YouTubers there especially the family friendly ones and updating every Channels. Like on one of them it had a video from 2 years ago as it’s new video. Please take note that I don’t mean to offend no one I am giving my honest opinion and I hope these new features will be added. Thank you ,let me talk about YouTubeKids a little bit more like I think it’s a maxing but as I said it lost a star because the “issues” (not really issues but things that should be added) I hope to see this in the future and when it is added I will add a 5 star review. And for the YouTubers that should be added I especially think ItsFunneh should be up there she is very family friendly sure there might be one or two videos where they might curse but it’s not like 24/7 where it’s inappropriate please add her it will make me very happy to see her there!

I like YouTubeKids a lot! It’s fun and perfect for kids. And even has special videos for special ages. So if your 12 you get 12 year old appropriate videos. And if your 4 or 5 you get the idea! But anyway YouTubeKids is very well crafted. I do however wish that would update the videos more...Some of the videos are old and aren’t really up to date. And sometimes they do put new ones out there. So I guess that is a good thing but also a bad one too.
But the sounds of YouTubeKids is AWFUL! The video audio is perfect. But the sounds that YouTubeKids make is VERY pestering if you ask me. Like when you use your finger to scroll through the videos it makes the ugliest noises. So I’m constantly adjusting the audio. But it’s a okay app!

Well, yea what everyone else is saying. I just wish there was a button that changed the age thing so i can watch my videos? Anyway, i have to watch normal yt just to see the vids i like! So if sometime you could add some more vids for people older than me, like maybe a diff app kinda like yt but not? Like, for older people who cant download yt because of restrictions and want to see vids that i like which are not inappropriate? Its just a suggestion, because the stuff is a bit uhhh for like 3 - 7 yr olds ofc, my could have been set for like 5 or so, but just a thought because i didnt really like it. (Reasons for improvement) Good reasons: Well, none so far because of all the cursing on so called “appropriate videos” im sorry, but i think i may delete YouTubeKids (so dont recommend this to your kids anytime soon) sorry parents, but from what i heard, and experienced, nope. And, your child is possibly capable of finding a cursing, sex, or other very inappropriate content, so before downloading, please consider not.

Love YouTubeKids has kid friendly content for ages 4 to 8! But then there’s some adults (like my parents) who are overprotective of what I hear and see. I’m 10 almost 11, and lots of the stuff on YouTubeKids isn’t really what I’m into. Maybe add a YouTuber called Jessi Vee , or some of Flamingos videos. Yes I know some of the content they can’t show on YouTubeKids, but there’s been some videos that have had cuss words in them, sometimes someone will say, “What the h*ll” or “D*mn” at least there not as bad as some words. Also Rosanna Pansinno, just no. Her clothing is very inappropriate, also I’ve heard her say boobs a lot. You shouldn’t have a kid hearing that. So please add more content for 10-11 year olds. And please double check theses videos for inappropriate things. Thank you so much. <3 overall I wouldn’t let my kid watch the Mr beast videos or Cali’s play house.

YouTubeKids is great for little kids, but for parents with older kids there’s not much good content. I’m constantly trying to find good videos to watch but whatever i do it leads back to the same childish videos. The search bar barely shows you what you’re looking for. If you search mukbang, nothing comes up. And tik tok, none. I get there are little kids, but there are also 11+. They should get some content they’ll actually enjoy. Also, the security system isn’t very safe. They ask east multiplication equations like 9x8. Children can easily google it or know it by the top of your head. you should also be able to watch clean vines. They take away a lot of things that are kid friendly and replace it with super childish content. It’s not fair to the children that are older and have stricter parents. Otherwise, good for little kids.

Well first of all, the 1 star reviews are gold. But, they also feature disturbing stuff that I wont discuss. But what I will discuss is profanity. Like, how are you going to make an app for kids that has profanity? Also, YouTubeKids is mainly made for 4 and under. Doesn’t really make sense that they would add 2 other modes?? But the weird thing is that, even though you don’t click on videos, they appear in the recommended. Also me, an 11 year old writing this review (yes I know it is sad pity me)… I really dont like YouTubeKids. It is a wonder why they are horror stories that are “true” and contain disturbing stuff. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this, and I don’t know why there are 4.7 reviews.

1. Overall, it is a good app. It’s child-safe. But, now I see way more toddler videos, nursery rhymes, and LOTS of stories for kids read in foreign languages than before (as of 2018). Most of the channels I liked back then (Jessii Vee, PeetahBread, and a few more) were removed, even though they have safe content! Meanwhile, you put kids faking as if they were breaking into peoples homes, robbing stores, and doing very creepy challenges that I’m sure an innocent 3 year old would be terrified of! I would look forward to watching them every day! And now they are gone. Now Gamer Girl, Titi Games, and other childish gamers are on my ‘recommended’ list.
2. Let’s say if your 2 year old wanted to watch “WAP.” When they are in the search engine and put in the keyword “WAP,” it gives them a bunch of options like,
- WAP music video
- WAP lyrics
- WAP performance
And when you press on them, it shows Cocomelon or videos unrelated to what you pressed! I’m not saying I want to watch those type of videos but, there are options on the search engine that aren’t even in YouTubeKids ! Maybe fix that so you don’t get people’s hope up, and then they can’t even find it.

It is easy to get in even if your a kid

And if you say your 8 or 9 or older it still puts baby shows on like Ryan and baby stuff they don’t let you search what you like beacause if you like Aphmau like I do and I’m her biggest fan that only put a couple videos of he own that she made then there’s thease how to make a portal to a dimension it is a mod some uv us don’t have computers and if you are 4 they show how to make portals to siren head and bad stuff

And if you get a account it says you can dealeate videos and ad videos well that is a lie you can’t it also says it always has Wi-Fi nope never

YouTubeKids gets hundreds of good reviews because people give the phone to the kids and the kids are entertained so they figure that there’s thousands of things to watch on there and they peek across they’ll probably see that mostly the kiddos just watching instructional toy videos but you got to be careful is all the other inappropriate videos with a grown adults dressed up as kid characters. I have found my kids watching inappropriate content on that channel that is not disguised as well as it appears to be many times because of that I would not recommend this for children especially not age that it is has listed because nine times out of 10 one of those videos that they watch during the day it’s going to be mildly inappropriate and you probably won’t know about it because your kid just has the phone

So I was trying to look up this I’m dodo kids story and the thing would not work and it was in raging me I was infuriated and I was so angry it doesn’t work I like YouTubeKids because it does not because it doesn’t have like as many like him if they have stuff that would have like bad words but still stare it’s terrible with the search and this would be a problem but sometimes it’s hard to type stuff so I need them to fix the search would actually work so I can get so I can actually search up the right thing and I just have to look through 1 million different videos to find it well that ends this I would say it’s a good app you just have to know how to type stuff and it’s OK

As a 12 year old, I do appreciate YouTubeKids. Sure, I'm older, but my mom wants to keep me safe. I love YouTubeKids so much! Though sometimes, I do get bored. I used to be able to see things I loved, like Gacha, Roblox Bloxburg (Especially PeetaBread) and other. But now, those were deleted. Also, please add more older content for older kids, like me. I don't like watching Nickoloden every second of my life. I would appreciate more Mr. Beast, Peetahbread, and others. I loved it, but now it's not my favorite due to lack of introduction in the pick of videos. Maybe adding a 10+ setting, enabling more mature videos. I also ask for more gacha videos. I think that YT kids is a very nice app but sometimes there is not many videos to watch and they are kinda babyish. YT kids is good for children 4-8 years old but I don’t think a 12 year old would want to watch this. Maybe you could change a few things, but overall this is a great app and I definitely recommend YouTubeKids for children 4-8. And if parents are complaining so much about inappropriate stuff but no! There is nothing on there that’s inappropriate so pls stop saying that. I also wish that we could comment or turn on the bell or even subscribe without are parents account 🙄. When I first downloaded this for my son YouTubeKids in itself was a lot easier to maintain and control. I suppose some changes after recent updates does not allow the user to clear the browsing cache anymore. I’ve gone through the settings over and over but can’t seem to find that option anymore. While my son used to watch educational, entertaining or kid friendly videos now there is nothing but homemade crap videos of mostly adults “reviewing” toys or doing some other nonsense. Since the last update I’ve had to block probably 30+ channels from the lite nonsense that comes up on YouTubeKids now since I am unable to clear the cache. Please add this feature back. I really do enjoy YouTubeKids for my son but having to block all the foreign channels so he doesn’t get confused and the other nonsensical channels is getting a little overwhelming.

Hi I’m writing first to say it a good enough app but there are A few things I’d liked changed so first after you watch some videos it starts to delete videos off YouTubeKids for example after I used YouTubeKids for a while I watched danTDM but then my brother found out my second favorite YouTuber was on there but I couldn’t watch him because it had already deleted his video off YouTubeKids !!!!! Then they have Series on there but like there’s say episode one of a let’s play but not the next episode!!! Why?!?! And you can’t share videos with your phone 😡 and I wish you could comment and ring a bell 🔔 but you can’t even watch the whole series!!! I’m thinking about deleting YouTubeKids please fix this five stars if you do🥺 thank you for reading to the end.

Ok so I’m 8 and I still use this I use 8-12 I really think the adds on 8-12 should be a little more 8-12 adds and I really think you should add a kids YT shorts like in real YT and hen I search app “leave the doors open” (one of my favorites) at least don’t do kidz bop cus they sound dumb all my friends agree with me. You could add a part of settings if the kid could watch the official music video. And add some Laurenside videos and cup quake. Also I really don’t like that every day I wanna watch something it’s always the same. This is a save and appropriate for kids my little girl loves it she is always doing the gymnastics she learned her back handspring in one day and it keeps her creative unlike some of the other apps where you stare at a screen all day like I said she did a back handspring in one day the gymnastics is very simple and not super rough I’m 37 and i did gymnastics as a kid and they thought me a cartwheel in one day.🤣But the videos are sooo funny she love this channel called ninja kids tv and what’s inside family. If you hear bad things they might happen on certain peoples I pad or what ever device but you should try it

You are able to go in and block certain things and report them as well, but my 4 year old love watching LOL Dolls and some things would pop in such as the “naughty kids” are her words. These kids pull pranks on each other and their parents. Such as putting window cleaner in each other’s water, bullying pranks, etc. we would block and report them as not appropriate for other kids to watch and they would pop back in as a different language or name. They did delete some Peppa Pig being murdered videos, but again would pop up in different languages. Learning videos are great, but being able to control every single thing that may pop in is impossible. I would recommend downloading apps that are strictly learning apps for that age group.

I’m not gonna lie I love this game ❤️ 💕. But racism. Plz change. What I mean is make it so that black people can be on that page. Make it so black people can be on any page. And one suggestion. Can you make it so there is a page with no gaming. Because I’m not allowed to watch gaming 😕😕. I can play video games but can’t watch them. Because my dad says that he does not like to watch them and he said “ why watch people play video games when you can play. 😒 ok so can you make it so that there is a tab with no gaming. And when I get older I can watch gaming. 🤩 I use to be able to watch but now for some reason I can’t. Ok ya I’m telling you too much about me.

This is hands down the worst app ever for children/ toddlers. There is NO WAY that YouTubeKids is monitored at all, like it claims to be when you setup a profile. There are so many examples I can personally give. A 20th Century Fox theme song that CLEARLY depicts a swastica. Then there is the video where Spider-Man shoots I believe Deadpool with what looks like a very real pistol (Glock 19 to be exact). Or, the finger family video where all of the I believe Spider-Man characters (again) are lined up, and are shooting each other in the head blood, death whole 9. And then you have channels like “Candyland”. A (what sounds to be an adult male) displaying gross amounts of candy on a table then exclaiming “So yummy in my tummy”. This is gross to me on so many levels. Then you have the subliminal messages in these kids videos, if you use the bar and scroll through some of the videos, you will catch an extremely brief image of something extremely creepy/ inappropriate. I do monitor what my children watch but it seems like after a week or so or after YouTubeKids /device update all of the blocked videos magically appear. I uninstalled YouTubeKids, it is toxic for children, I strongly suggest everyone steer clear. I have contacted you tube kids upward of 20 times but to no avail. Will be taking further action if something doesn’t change (for the poor kid who is being brainwashed).

YouTubeKids is okay. It is good for little kids that are around toddle ages. The thing is, there are inappropriate videos. I don’t know what it’s called exactly but there’s a channel that looks and seems directed towards little kids but when you pay attention to it more it is disgusting. It’s this clay animation channel with characters from movies or shows; mainly Elsa from Frozen and Spider-Man. They don’t talk to it’s hard to comprehend what they’re really implying fully. They seem normal at first but then they show things like, the characters eating too much and getting very overweight, Spider-Man and Elsa flirting, characters killing each other...and the most unbelievable thing, characters getting impregnated. There’s so much more horrid stuff on that channel. Besides that everything I can tell on YouTubeKids is appropriate, except some little curse words slip out. Apart from that is good. I know there’s settings on what age range there is but there really should be more tween videos for kids with protective parents.

Except my niece who becomes startled and spooked very easily. Watched My little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Began to sing a chant about the “Angel of Darkness” aka Satan or Lucifer. I am a millennial so MLP seemed appropriate until I heard her sing this and had to deal with her running out of the room to avoid a creepy feeling in a dark room .I researched the Luna and Nightmare Pony and that series should come with a warning the concepts are very mature and are an antithesis to Christian beliefs. The words are too directly correlated to satanic worship words like spirit and dark angels, are inappropriate in Christian homes. I will preview and research every cartoon which is okay because I don’t want to make them just watch Super Book and Veggie Tales. I’m thankful that this channel made it possible for me to block certain shows and channels. I hope that words that are direct antithesis of a religious group at least come with a warning. I’m not Muslim but I wouldn’t let them watch anything that directly disparaged that faith, so that they can go to school and casually say offensive terms that are disparaging to another's religion.

On the outside, the seems like a fine app for the preschooler/elementary crowd. And most of the time, it is. There are many educational and do-it-yourself videos that children can access. My younger brother lives watching his “Up on the Housetop” (a Christmas song) video. However, also at children’s fingertips are a few less age-appropriate videos. These might satisfy the teenager or tween of protective parents, but they aren’t the best for the target age.
Specifically, I recently found a clip of the “Bustopher Jones” scene from the musical Cats (you know, the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical that stars people in tight costumes slinking around the stage pretending to be cats). Okay for the (jr) high school crowd, but not quite what most parents want their five-year-olds to watch.
Parents: you might want to preview videos you think your children would view.
Developers: please try to monitor this better! I’m not saying to study every video that comes in, just the ones that look a little off-key. Thanks!

I like how it is designed so kids can not watch things that they should not be watching but there is something’s I do not like about it. The way the ask for there age to know what they should be watch yeah I like that but somethings the thing that are Appropriate are not even on YouTubeKids . I would like to customize what I like to watch that are appropriate. Second I hate the noise that they do when you slide left or right. It is so annoying and I hate it. I would like to put something different then that. Third I would like if it did have more options of youtubers that are appropriate. Yeah some yourubers do not post appropriate stuff but once in a while the do post something that is appropriate. Like for example Mrbeast, he may done stuff that is not appropriate but he did make a huge impact to the world. He set a goal to rise money to plant 20 mill one trees and he has done that before 2020 even started so I would like if some of mrbeast’s content is on there

I like YouTubeKids but there are some mistakes that need to be fixed.
For example, there are videos in YouTubeKids that have curse words in them, like the Gossip Girl music video. Another mistake is the Try Again button for the No Connection thing.........IS FAKE! I tried so many times but nothing happened. Speaking of No Connection, YouTubeKids is so bad at connecting to the internet. Some of the videos in YouTubeKids teach kids things that they shouldn’t know at all! One more thing, the YTkids app is really bad at searching for channels. Thank you for noticing these issues. This review is from a 10 year old so if this stuff is normal, oh well! 😉 P.S. I Read some reviews and noticed that hackers have been messing around with YouTubeKids and GES (my school) has been effected by the rude and inappropriate vids. Channels I recommend are: DanTDM, LDShadowlady, It’s Jojo Siwa, stacyplays, Every Education Channel but The Things, Little Kelly, Littl Carly, etc.

For one we downloaded YouTubeKids because it’s titled you tube kids and well the content here should be suitable for children. With that being said my kid is 4 yrs old now and if you don’t have kids of yourself you wouldn’t understand that kids learn and do a lot of what these “child safe cartoons” show like burning each other with fire launchers, cutting each other several devious actions that my kid talks and repeats. For example my boy says if he doesn’t like something he is gonna hit it and burn it and I started looking at some cartoons that he was viewing blocked the content and well there is more like it. Which is hard to know what some cartoons consist of unless you see it all but i guess long story short my kid picked up on tantrums and things of that sort that some cartoons would do. I just think it’s not all kid friendly I wouldn’t recommend YouTubeKids if you’re intention is to download it and forget it in the sense that you are gonna trust the content on here and let your child browse through some content you might not approve of.

so when i first got YouTubeKids it was good but then i found channels a really loved and then for whatever reason they were deleted i get why because this is made for kids that are too young to watch normal YT but if your going to keep deleting the content for older kids to replace it with stuff that is made for like 4-8 is just terrible because of that i never really watch any thing because this was the only way i could watch stuff and the things i thought were entertaining disappeared so i even got so annoyed over it that i deleted YouTubeKids and got it again YouTubeKids is adding some entertainment to YouTubeKids over time but they only added a few videos i thought were entertaining i will change my rating if you add more videos for older people like 9-13 or when you think most people would stop watching this but in the end i think YouTubeKids could use some major improvements to the amount of entertaining videos aka gaming videos in my opinion and the overwhelming of shows made for younger kids

Let me first say am a kid and I get it parents want kids to be safe on the internet but really really!!!!

I hate YouTubeKids so much for starters you can’t watch full episodes for example let’s say you’re on a road trip and you want to see a full episode of Adventure time you click into YouTubeKids look it up but the only thing you’re going to see are some clips I don’t want clips darn it!!!

Lastly I would like to talk about the settings. Okay so when you download YouTubeKids it asks you what type of videos YouTubeKids should play (am 11) but when you pick all ages it still has abc 123 videos on it! So in the next update could you add a 10-12 setting? It would help us older kids who have to be with YouTubeKids

Well, I have used this in a probable span of two years and it’s only gone downhill. The content on here that I was relieved that I found, has been taken off for NO REASON. There might not even be anything wrong with the video. All of the really good nightcore music has been removed. Now all I’m left with is kids bop sucky standards. You only present the covers of songs that I would genuinely rather listen to the actual thing. YES, I GET IT EVERY LIVING PERSON CAN PLAY THIS SONG ON A DIGITAL PIANO, but let’s all just oppose the idea of an actual song.

Yes, I understand the fact that this is a 4+ application, but this is just repetitive, tedious and just annoying. It’s every single day, that more of my beloved stuff is repealed. It’s not even censoring, there’s still an abundance of WAY worse stuff, this is just invasive. But nope. My perfectly fine array of music is gone. The audio quality is gradually depleting every time I click on YouTubeKids. AND UGH THE 30 SECOND INTRO! WHAT VIDEO STREAMING THING NEEDS AN INTRO. So thanks I appreciate it. I know this probably will be overlooked so.. bye bye YTK ✌🏼

Okay, I was in my mom’s car, and she said “Can I show you this?” and she showed me a picture of an unfriendly person who glitches into videos and tells people what to do. (Which the things she were saying were super bad!!) like once I heard a story from my mom reguarding the glitched in scary person, who tells the girl (Who is some 5 year old girl) to cut her hair. So she absolutely cut ALL of her hair. This unfriendly kid virus is named Momo. As what I said her name was but in the car I said “Momo?” and I told the entire story about me watching a Minecraft monster school video and how the teacher was kidnaped by a weird grandpa and asked where Grandma and “Momo” were. Please YT kids, be aware about this. But if it is gone, still be very careful! Don’t let Momo invade into this system of yours. Along with everything else. Good luck!

I am of twelve years of age, and use YouTubeKids almost everyday. I don’t really have much of a problem with it; it provides all the youtubers I like. However, I do have one problem with it...the search bar isn’t great for searching specific topics. For example one time I tried searching up a specific song that I listened to one time on YouTubeKids , so YouTubeKids obviously has the video I want to search up, but when I searched it up, it told me to try and search for something else. I would really like the developers to let the search bar be able to search up something specific, because then otherwise I would have to constantly dig through my recommended videos for whatever specific video I want to watch. Other than that YouTubeKids is fine.

I’ve had YouTubeKids before but we’ve had to delete it because my parents said that even if they delete all of the bad videos or block them it’s not working because people are hacking in and putting in inappropriate and scary videos for children. And so we just feel like YouTubeKids needs to have a higher security standard and then I think YouTubeKids would be a little bit more Secure for everyone. but it’s at Lowe security standards right now and there just not protective of what they have on YouTubeKids . and that is very disappointing and some of my friends said that they had had to delete YouTubeKids because the same thing has been happening to them and their parents I told them the same thing! If you’re going to have YouTubeKids be careful of The low security and dad videos. Oh and all the mothers out there be careful of what your kids watch too! 🙂

I love how there are many different shows and channels for baby’s and kids. I am 11 and still use YouTubeKids. 🙃 It has so many fun things you can let your kids watch and don’t have to worry about them getting to addicted to it. You can set a time limit on YouTubeKids so they don’t stay on it to long. 😱 YouTubeKids is highly recommend from me🥳and hopefully many, many different other people. You should really get YouTubeKids, it is so great. But there is one thing that really gets on my nerves. 😡😡😡And that is when it’s says I’m not connected to the internet. So I look in settings and it’s says I am connected.🤔🤔 I look at the top of the screen and I have 4 bars.🤔🤔 I don’t know how to fix it but now YouTubeKids is just really useless sometimes.📱 Y’all people that own YouTubeKids really need to take a look at this because I’m literally going to delete YouTubeKids .📱❌

Ok I got banned from regular YT. So my mom made me and my sister watch YT kids for a change. It’s not the worst thing but it’s definitely not the best. One thing that bugs me is that there is this YTer names lotdotzip, and my sister loves him. So I decided to watch him to but then I have none of the same videos as her. I don’t know if it’s YouTubeKids or just my phone. But I still am a bit upset. Another reason why I think this is not the best is because it takes out videos a lot. I was watching grace’s world and there was a rapster video. So I watched it. But then the next day, they took it away. I was really upset on that. I also would recommend some other YTers(oh by the way YT means YouTub). I still know some that are kid friendly that you could consider adding. So like I said it’s not the worst but it’s definitely not the best. Creators, I would love if u could fix these! Thank you.
