Boop Kids - Smart Parenting Reviews

So, my daughter was on her Ipad, and asking for boop kids, I answered no, because her birthday was coming up. About a week or so after, An ad scared me to Death. My daughter has an older sister who is 15, she plays a game called “poppy playtime” she says it’s a horror game with a horror character “Huggy Wuggy” So, back to the ad part, I’m on my phone looking for boop kids videos, I click on one about an AMAZING REVIEW! (I don’t agree) And an ad pops up like “I LOVE BOOP KIDS!” With a 70 year old mans voice over from a little girl, THIS SCARED ME SO MUCH! It went “I LOVE BOOP KIDS! I love huggy wuggy, when I’m sad boop kids let’s me draw! I love drawing because I LOVE whiteboards! Boop kids has a whiteboard! That’s why I love it! HEHEHE!” And it just kept going on and on and on until it was over, at this point I told my daughter NEVER ask for boop kids, And she was VERY upset, I was so scared I wanted to hide my daughters iPad forever so she wouldn’t ask, I hope you understand, JUST STOP WITH THE CRAZY ADS! BoopKids IS FOR KIDS! K.I.D.S.! ONLY! NOW PLEASE THINK OF HOW THIS WOULD ATTRACT PEOPLE OR JUST SCARE THEM! I hope you listen to my advise. ( I’m sorry for anybody who has BoopKids or is considering getting it, I’m just saying my opinion and why it should be 12+ instead)

Dear Boop kids if your going to have to put a 3 day trial there no one is going to get BoopKids I clicked on my avatar to Edit when I first got BoopKids and then it let me edit it I made a mistake in my avatar and I clicked done by accident so I thought I could just click edit avatar again but instead it said that I needed to sign up for three day trial I should’ve gotten a warning that I couldn’t edit my avatar again after. Please change the three day trial. I decided to play some of the games and just forget about my avatar I went into play games and it said I needed to sign up for A three day trial I think thatShould be changed because I can’t play any other games unless I subscribe. You should think about the people who can’t afford to pay to play a fun app and there isn’t any face tracking like it says in the description. I’m very upset about how this turned out. Overall it’s just a boring app we’re all you can do is post pictures of your avatar you can’t even do face tracking and then all that’s left is just to draw. Overall this is a horrible app I don’t recommend downloading.

Ok let’s start off with the thing that annoys me I saw the add for this game so I downloaded it quick I opened BoopKids and all I got was “GET YOUR FREE TRIAL FOR 3 DAYS” I was disappointed I thought my sis and I could finally get along but now what? You want to make a free trial I saw people complaining about it too but you said “You now longer need to subscribe” but I’m sad cause we only have 3 days to play Boop kids for free then pay each month my family needs to pay bills so can you change it? I have it a 2 stars for effort but the other star was for please change so plz update it to no trials and no subscribing I don’t want everything in boop kids I just want half of the stuff so I can play for real can you change that I’m not forcing you but please change it someday -Your not very satisfied customer Edit:Can you please read this? So my complaint is just like the others who had problems with the free-trial thing. This is stupid! I am nine years old and based on what I heard about BoopKids , I thought it would be fun to connect with my family and play fun games and customize my avatar. But when I downloaded it and opened it, this free-trial thing popped up. There was no x or anything to close it. Every time you guys reply to a review, you guys say “dear customer, you can now play Boop kids without subscription, please try playing Boop kids again”. Well, the Boop kids developers are just a bunch of LIARS! I was so looking forward to this game but I was really disappointed when I realized that this is a game where you have to pay for a stupid access to all the games and stuff in BoopKids! You

So I watched an ad and I love family games even 4 an older gamesAnd I looked at the reviews and they all said free trial free trial free trial free trial and I was like there’s an ex button so I download it thinking that there is an ex button but nope if you don’t use the free trial literally all you can do is stare at a free trial screen and move around and tap characters literally who wants to do that not even a two-year-old would do it it’s just my parents don’t pay for anything even if it says 1.99$so if I see a free trial screen I’ll skip it but this is just all free trial doesn’t even let you play it for a second I mean it’s stupid I have a bunch of these games that say VIP or no ads or anything that makes the game awesome my dad says no and if it says free trial now and I can’t play anything it’s it’s a one star review and it won’t change he does not spend money on games and he never will so that is the reason and if you read this do not download it.

It was casual I was playing the game until I add popped up and I was trying to get one without a free trial because everything was a free trial I thought everything would be free because I am only eight everything with a free trial and I don’t want everything to be a free trial and also why is the head shaped like that I need you to answer these questions please I don’t know why I just don’t recommend this game I don’t recommend this game for seven and up or three and I don’t recommend this game for a bunch of people that like to play video games this one isn’t good there’s really nothing much you can do but create an avatar choose your name and gender so you can sit there on BoopKids making avatars for the rest of the game until you run out of avatars and have to go through a free trial again I do not recommend this game just please add a new update to the game or everything does it have to be official and all the ads oh my gosh no just NO⚠️!.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I bought BoopKids about a year ago, as a teenager I act like a child which I’m proud of. But BoopKids will put you through anger or sadness, first you need to sign for a 3 day trial and pay through to keep playing. SECOND, you can’t edit your avatar unless you sign up for the trial THIRD, there is NO face tracking! I think once again you need to pay. I Stan parents who care for their children/child. Especially when kids wanna find something interesting. But parents and whoever is reading this, please don’t buy unless your willing to pay for BoopKids constantly.
I find it really ridiculous for this to happen for people who wanna give someone something fun or just wanna do it for themselves. Also, just wanted to put something else out there, they barely do updates on this game and doesn’t read these reviews so I’m not gonna see a request on the game soon :/

I know I know there’s already enough bad reviews on BoopKids but actually no I think there should be MORE BoopKids is absolutely horrible I didn’t even get to play it once I install BoopKids it says to subscribe for for $15 a month so I asked A parent if I could get the free trial and they said yes so they clicked on the free trial to do it for me but it also cost money and it told my parent to subscribe so the free trial is stupid and you can’t even use BoopKids because of the subscription the videos and ads that I keep seeing everywhere about this game looks so cool but you can’t even play it! Ok, SO. I’m playing a game and I get a ad and it’s like, “BOOP KIDS, PLAY FREE TODAY!” and it’s this boy with curly hair making his avatar and I’m like, “Oh well wHy NoT, gO tO BoopKids sTore BeG mY dAd fOr 20 mInuTes tO lEt Me doWnlOad IT wItHouT lOokinG aT rEviEWs! :,D” and that’s exactly what I did finally my dad gave up and was like, “sUre-“ he downloads it and I ran to my room. I open BoopKids and I’m super excited to play with my best friends and my family! So I open up BoopKids it looks So cute! And then it says free trail and I’m like, “oh okay, lots of good games have free trials!” I notice there’s no X and my mind is instantly like, “…wUt .-_-. “ so I pressed quick start , AND IT SENDS ME TO THE FREAKING IPAD PASS TO BUY YO THINGS! and I’m TRIGGERED. These ppl rlly think that kids parents r so tired of them they just get them these things and gets money thrown at them but no- .. just stop already!

Hi Boop kids I don’t like thins because when I was like 4 or 3 I got BoopKids and everything was free except for that one day I got on to boop kids and it said I need a trial so I deleted it and downloaded it again but it said the same thing so years later I downloaded it another time but it said the same thing so I gave up but I’m today years old and I want to play this again but I can’t 😤🙄 so I’m asking can you please I beg you can you make everything free so everyone don’t have to spend their money on a game because if you don’t change it people will download it and see that you have to do a trial they will say this is a waste of time i don’t have the money for this so the kids ask their parents but they say that’s too much money 💰 so they tell their kids no and then the kids walk off and ask for a different app because this is a waste of time 😕😖😅😒

This will be the longest review that I’ve ever done. Please get rid of the subscription. You lied and said it was free when it really isn’t. Why pay $15 a month to create a character and play dumb little mini games when I can play better games and have more character customization in other games completely free? I won’t and I will never pay for any in app purchases from you because of that. People don’t know if this is really meant for them. And if they just buy it they might realize they don’t like it and then leave a longer bad review. Let people try your games because a video isnt enough. I learned that the hard way, but not by buying your stupid subscription. They should be able to customize at least a little bit and play some of the games on here like everyone else who has a subscription. If you don’t do that, no one will buy it.

I know that this is for kids and all but the new face tracking feature is a bit creepy we don’t know if there is a hacker by the tracking feature and we literally have to pay for everything the only thing we can do is take a picture of our avatar and about the avatar we can only decorate it once and then we have to pay to decorate it I just think it can be better. And any new feature is always so weird I downloaded BoopKids to help me little sister but it just asked her to pay for everything and also there are many apps that don’t let you pay for anything and with much better features that are actually free and in all the adds, they don’t tell you what you have to pay for but really it’s expensive just the face tracking feature is like $3.00 just to let a character move with you. Really this is just bad.

I got interested in boop kids from its ads, it looked pretty fun so without checking reviews, I downloaded it and when I opened BoopKids was like “sTaRt a FReE tRIal aNd sUbscRibE” I had no clue of what BoopKids was talking about, so I pressed it and it took me to the page to download or buy things in apple, I was frustrated and mad that I needed to pay, I cant even pay! I’m 8 years old and I knew I can’t ask my sis or my mom to buy it, because they don’t really have any bank account money, I uninstalled it and minded my own business until another add of it came, I decided to check reviews and TONS and TONS of people were complaining about this free trial thing, most of them were mad and frustrated like I was about the trial thing, so I decided to hop in and make this review, I just need to say, don’t trick us into downloading such a app! Hello, I saw commercials about BoopKids and saw some things that caught my eye. The options to create sort of looks like Nintendo’s Mii character creation. I saw that most of the eye’s and mouths were plagiarized from Nintendo. Nintendo is a very big company, and I don’t understand why’d you guys copy most of the eye’s and mouths from Nintendo? I grew up playing Nintendo games and I’m not going to let you guys get away with this.

This is pure plagiarism and this needs to be fixed. Remove the plagiarized Nintendo eye’s and mouths from this game, you had potential to make your own character body part selections but copying from Nintendo is highly ridiculous. Some people might have spotted this or I am the only one, but this isn’t right for this company to copy another companies things.

So well this game looks very very nice for other kids and parents to be enjoying for kids like one’s kids log into it they’re going to use their face reveals for it it’s like a first age 100,000 age for life is the life itself you know you know you know I like it you can style things in your honor like you can like give you more money and like you can make your own character and you can be yourself on it and you can hear the face reveal it to try and like do the face chocolate thing go with the game saying.

Dear Dev, I need to get out of the “Get Everything!” subscription screen. Why do you have to do this. Don’t be greedy! Please fix this! (P.S, 5 stars for effort bc, I would LOVE this game.)

Edit: 4/13 Hey Boop Kids! Thanks for adding a X! I have a complaint. Like some other reviewers. I can only make 1 avatar with no face tracking and only camera and whiteboard, and I can’t edit/delete my avatar. I understand you need some money but please give us at least a game, more avatars, edit/delete abilitys, and face tracking!

For kids I mean kids you say this is because probably there parents will say no and kids can not pay for this money make it free gosh you guys are the worst company please make it free man kids want this And I gave it a two bc you can play with the characters but please make it free i always wanted to draw but I was pretty much 7 and I saw that it is not free and I was pretty sure my parents would say no so I just played with the characters and I stoped playing since it’s not free So this time I came back and played with them and sadly I had to make a bad review since you did that all the kids in the ad or adults look like have so much fun but not us please just make it free (Ty for reading) and fix!

so when I saw this ad I thought hey maybe I can try this out so I did and what did I see???? a 3 day TRAiL like no... So I saw an ad for this game and I really liked the entertainment and decided to download it! but there is just one problem. You’re telling me that I have to PAY to get into the game? That’s just messed up. I see other kids games and you don’t have to pay to play it, you just have to pay if you want more accessories, or more ability to get things more easier! To be honest, I hate the fact that you actually have to pay to get into this game and this felt like such a bad attraction to watch your ads and get this game. I am very upset. Next time, I’ll skip your ads and wait until you update that you don’t have to pay anymore. Cya.

I got BoopKids but one thing, when I try to actually play it doesn’t work... So, in every iPod and Laptop, you click on apps to play, when I click on BoopKids , it is stuck on one screen, I restarted it and installed it a second time but nothing worked. The screen look like little creatures, cute ones and they were in a row not that straight. I am nine and being a normal child, I freaked out. They were also upside down... I hope you can fix it, I really am looking forward to BoopKids !

Edit: I tried again and now I can’t even get on BoopKids ! I have never been hacked and I don’t think this is a glitch, my device is new too! And now I can access it for a short time then I can’t get on BoopKids again! Please fix it! My mom will be overjoyed!

Honestly, for me, this game doesn’t actually let you connect with your family members, when someone else connects to your family, it doesn’t show them at all and you cannot play with them, when you edit characters, it doesn’t show the new version on other people’s screen, i’ve tried to reload it over and over but it’s just the same. Plus when you delete people, they are still there in other people’s screen even if you reload it or not! It doesn’t give you the most crucial part of this game which is the family option, i’m only giving this a two-star incase if our case was different from others but if it wasn’t, then i’d give this a one-star.

Great game. But horrible. When I saw the add about Boop Kids, I immediately downloaded it! But when I come to find out that when you’re finished your avatar, there’s a Free Trial. I know I’m speaking for a lot of people, because NO ONE likes paying forever every month. At least update the game so there is NO Free Trial, but maybe make people pay before they download it.
Technically it’s not free either way, but paying before you get it way better.
I really want to play it! But sadly I can’t because of the STUPID FREE TRIAL!!! Honestly, I hate all Free Trials, not just this one, though.

Whenever i try to edit my character/s it always leads me to a white blank page and at the bottom right corner with a delete button/ trash can. I tried reloading it a couple times, and it keeps doing. Plz fix :(

I don’t get why a kids game cost money. I’m nine and I think it would be a good game if you didn’t haft to pay why do you need to pay if you want money then just make the whole app cost money. When I downloaded the game. It was loading... I wouldn’t know how to get out of it but it asked me to buy stuff. With money. And I didn’t. So I wanted to get out of it, then I realize i dont know how to get out....

This is the right game for me,

When you go into the game on mobile, there is literally no way to get in. It just hits you with the premium thing. There is no button or anything to make it go away. So, sorry. But please fix the game for mobile kids.
