Very useful tool for managing job postings and candidates

I love how much information can easily be accessed later, even when a previous candidate applies to a future posting. Improvement I would like is the ability to search for a candidate by name, like the website allows you to do.

Helpful, but could be better

IndeedEmployer is helpful to view applicants on the go, however it is not great. IndeedEmployer should allow you to search for applicants. Also, there should be a way to filter applicants by if they’ve completed the assigned assessments. If those 2 things were implemented, IndeedEmployer would be 5 stars! As of right now, I have to go to the email to see who completed the assessments, then scroll through the 20 pages of applicants to find them and mark them as phone screened since there is no status named assessment completed. This is very time consuming and could easily be automated by the software to save hours!

Not really user friendly

I like that there is an app so I can use this on my phone, but it doesn’t have all the features that the actual website has, and that is kind of the point of having an app so that you can use it on the go. You can’t quick search candidates if you need to go back and look them up for reference. You can’t see your calendar schedule if you schedule interviews within the website. I wouldn’t recommend.

Useful but Inefficient

Applicants should not be able to submit applications missing required elements such as assessment test or cover letter. As it is now, you have to go through hundreds of applications that seem automated just to find a few that actually meet your requirements. This makes the hiring process time-wasteful, frustrating, and leaves you looking for an alternative platform that’s more efficient.

Reviews

I would like to be able to write and read other employees interactions with these candidates. I have set up 3 interviews and not one of them has shown up or bothered to call. If others are going through this it would be helpful to know

Not Worth It

I’m getting alerts that people are applying but it’s also saying my account is disabled and I just made it. I’m not sure if they did this because si didn’t pay for my job listing to be sponsored band am getting a lot of attention or what because I’ve posted several listings for my other businesses with no issue. Seems like they have gotten money hungry because there’s nothing on my account that’s against any polices. And I can’t even figure out how to gain access to my company page. I’ll just go to zip recruiter

Worst app ever

This is honestly the worst site/app I’ve used to post a job listing. My first listing was immediately deleted after only a few minutes. And IndeedEmployer constantly reloads the page while you’re inputting data for the application, and the buttons sometimes don’t respond and IndeedEmployer just stops. So frustrating, you go to type something and IndeedEmployer just starts reloading the page over and over. I managed to post one job I think, but I can’t find a link to the public posting.

Super handy

IndeedEmployer has been super handy reviewing candidates on the go. I’m able to respond to Potential candidates, schedule interviews and do everything right from my phone as I would on a desktop.

Only wish

I wish employers had the ability to rate each applicant as we get many who do not show up to interviews & have some who do great but we only had one position open, etc. Their ratings would benefit employers by saving them time when looking for the perfect candidate

Bait and switch

As a company hiring in multiple locations, we posted in several markets. Indeed then banned our accounts, removed our posts, without notice and forced us to call their “security” team to be upsold to a paid national plan for the ability to post in multiple markets. Probably the worst sales funnel I’ve ever experienced. Don’t treat your clients like criminals.

Also IndeedEmployer is just a wrapper to the mobile website. Deleted.

Sending messages is seriously flawed

As a service, it is good. I received a lot of hits from my post, however when typing a message you cannot see the message bar so I have to hope that I'm not sending any typos. In order to see what I typed I have to tap out then tap the message bar again to fix my errors. You need to fix this.

Crashes regularly

IndeedEmployer overall is great. Easy to navigate and move through candidates. I am giving it 3/5 stars because IndeedEmployer crashes at least once a day. It will either not load up at all, freeze in the middle of using it or just shut down on its own.

2 separate hirers

I love IndeedEmployer !!! So easy to use. Well organized so I can look through applications quickly. I was able to make the 2nd hire in less than a week

Helpful

Easy to navigate with full access to everything.

Good not great

Great site/app if you want to create job postings. However, often we receive notices asking us to pay money to have our ad sponsored. If I wanted to sponsor then I would do so. The ads are annoying. Just my opinion
