I prefer going to the simply hired website instead. When I click on a job then decide it isn’t for me, I press back to go back to browsing so I can continue my job searching.
But… the whole browser refreshes and takes you back to the top of your search(where the filter button is). So then I have to scroll all the way back down to the spot I was in originally in just to continue my search.

The SimplyHired app doesn’t organize their job postings as pages, like the Indeed app. It’s just one long scrolling list. I also want to mention that a lot of the job postings are also blank on JobSearch . However, when you go to the website on your safari/google app, you see the whole job posting. So I’m guessing that’s also just a problem with app itself.

It’s very discouraging to search for jobs because it’s so complicated to search on JobSearch .
I honestly just really hope the SimplyHired team takes these problems into consideration. Because I don’t even use JobSearch anymore…

I initially signed up for Simply Hired on the desktop where it gives you an option to create an account via Facebook or Google. I chose Facebook because the Google button did not work. The apply button also did not work on desktop. I transitioned to JobSearch and the only sign in options are by Apple or Google. No Facebook option so all of the work I put in to creating my account is essentially useless if I want to use JobSearch . I decided to search for jobs without signing in and nothing will load. I’ve tried using different wifi, 5G, and downloaded on a friend’s phone and it just doesn’t work.

The search filters are great, applying for jobs is quick and easy.

The only 2 things I have against JobSearch is
1. after you click on a job position to read about the it, very often JobSearch loves to refresh and start you all the way back at the top of the page so you have to scroll all the way back down to where you were so you can continue from where you picked up.

2. While you’re scrolling through job options, JobSearch loads and populates the job listings and when it does that, it scrolls you down the list skipping a bunch of job listings so you have to scroll back up to see what it skipped.

Like I said, it’s a very useful and plentiful app. These things are just really annoying and interrupt your job search.

JobSearch has a great user flow and has all the same jobs as indeed, LinkedIn and ziprecruiter. I've found lots of jobs, even remote jobs. Simply and easy to use. Very fast searches too and quick apply.

I would like if, after looking at a job, it wouldn’t scroll you all the way back up to the beginning of the search results. It’s inconvenient. Other than that, I love the smooth and simple design of JobSearch.

JobSearch use to work extremely well, now since the last two updates it’s been a work when it wants type of thing

I’m using xr and can’t see much when I open a job offer. Black on black just don’t work. Giving you 5 stars and hope you can do something about this.

I often prefer to use it rather than Indeed or LinkedIn.

When you click on a job posting it doesn’t give the description it’s blacked out. once you go back from a listing it puts you back to the top of the listings page. Has plenty of job listings though, many that aren’t on other job listing websites too, that’s nice!

In my opinion a little bit much.

This is the worst! As soon as I’ve completed an application, I went out of JobSearch for five seconds to find a reference number and everything was deleted! This means I had to start the application over and in my case if my phone were to lock everything would be deleted AGAIN!

Simplyhired help me find a job after I was laid off due to Coronavirus. Thanks to JobSearch I am back to work!!

I downloaded JobSearch to look for nearby dental assisting jobs and I can’t even upload my resume because it’s on google docs and when I choose the google drive option it won’t even show what’s in my drive! Going to delete immediately.

I genuinely think that JobSearch can help tons and tons of kids, teenagers, and even adults find jobs.

Love that I can put the minimum pay rate I’d accept & see what jobs/positions are availed near me. Not disappointed at all

There’s no setting to turn off dark mode on JobSearch . I can’t see any of the job postings when I click into them

Has this ever worked? The “update” just has a search bar at the top of the screen... I would still love to use JobSearch but as a user who has tried to use it for the past few months... not getting anywhere.

This is the best job search app I have ever used. Everything is just so smooth and simple. The design just looks so great! There are tons of jobs you can apply for and the best thing is that you can use many filters to narrow down the results! It is better than other job search apps like LinkedIn and zip recruiter! Totally a five star app!

I am on JobSearch , filled out all my resume info, and I get to the bottom where you can upload you cover letter. I try to upload it, it gets all the way to where I want to upload from and JobSearch just completely shuts off. As if I wasn't doing anything. So I try it again and it does it again, just completely shuts down. Si I'm thinking that it's my iPad, so I reboot it and go back into JobSearch and just start job hunting. I find a job that I want apply to and start filling out the application. When I get the the part to upload my resume and cover letter, JobSearch lets me get to where I want to take it from and then just shuts off again. I try this process over and over about five times before I just gave up. Then JobSearch keeps asking me for a review. So here I am !!! Everything but that jacked up feature, JobSearch would be great !! 😢😭

I liked JobSearch a lot, but now it seems to be giving me problems. I loved the feature that you could hit email this job to me and it would. It was a great help if you weren't sitting at your computer for later. But now that function does not work and JobSearch seems to freeze a lot and not do anything. Even after reinstall of it. Please put that feature back!!

Just a few things, it'd be convenient to have an "advanced search" option and it's kind of annoying how easy it is to accidentally tap a listing while scrolling. Other than that, they have a biggest variety of listings. Not like snagajob that only has about 5 places that get listings on their site.

Downloaded JobSearch and started searching for jobs in my area immediately. Found some promising leads and created an account so I could apply and save the jobs. Verified my account via email like I was instructed, says its activated but won't actually sign in. I put my email and password in the correct boxes and click sign in and nothing happens. There are plenty of other apps that offer the same thing as this site, so I'll download of one them and delete this one.

Selecting a position adds it to the search list, sometimes "twice." For example, if you do a search for "Construction" and tap on a position title "Plumber Guru" in NY, "Construction", "Plumber Guru", and "Plumbing in NY" appears in the recent search list. This clutters the search list with unwanted criteria.

During a search, one must scroll thru all postings, even those previously seen, as there is no way of determining a new posting. Adding a feature that shows the number of new postings since reviewing would be nice. Place it on the home page.

The ability to sort based on date would be very nice. Currently, one reviews posts that have various dates in no particular order.

The postings are not well presented. Imagine removing all spaces, paragraphs, bullets, etc. Just one block of mumbo jumbo text.

JobSearch is constantly updated with jobs in your area and surrounding areas. Very user friendly. You can apply, upload your resume and/or check the status of your application directly from JobSearch. I highly recommend JobSearch for anyone who is job seeking.

Wow, what a major let-down, JobSearch is not offering the same functionality as regular SimplyHired website. The lack of filtering results makes this a useless (IMHO) on-the-go app. Also unless I've missed something, there is no settings menu, no ability to forward your Cover Letter & Resume to a selected job/ role.

Although the database of listed jobs seems comprehensive; using an alternative competitive app has all the above functions but perhaps less listings.

This is the best option currently available to search for jobs on a mobile device. I use Simply Hired because it delivers the best search results on my desktop, and now I can get the same service from my phone. Far and away the best app in its field.

Great app. Easy-to-use, very accurate (relevant results) and I love the location finder which is one less thing that I have to input myself. Thanks Simply hired for making it easier to find a job.

PS I actually sent six resumes to six jobs in 10 minutes and that includes reading every job description

Everything just looks simple and clean. JobSearch makes it really easy for me to search and then apply for a job. The best thing is, it remembers your recent searches! I would recommend this amazing app to anyone who is looking for a job!

The link to Other jobs you may like...does not work. It takes the reader/searcher back to the main job listing that is being viewed currently. It needs immediate fix. The update would improve the job searching experience.

Overall, JobSearch is well organized and easy to read both job and company name. Good quality jobs as well.

Needs more filtering options and the ability to save them. I'd rate it a A (not A+) due to this. Keep up the great work, very satisfied regardless!

Not too bad of an app and pretty easy to use, but when my main results from a search are >20 miles away and I don't want to go out that far, I should be able to filter that out.

Please add a distance filter so we can set a distance parameter from our chosen location. Thank you!
