Fist time customer

I love the Honest Company but when I signed up for the Bundle Package and received the wrong diaper size it was impossible to get a hold of someone over the phone. Not to mention my honest box was open and dirty when I received it. I kept calling for two days just to continue to get a recording stating that they were having phone issues and to contact customer service online. So I woke up early the next morning and got on TheHonestCompany where I was place in a queue (number 63). Once it was my turn to chat with a live agent I was placed back at the end of the line (number 63). This happened twice. After an hour and a half wait, I posted a picture on Instagram tagging the honest company and received a DM with an email address. Once I emailed them, the process starting going really quickly and I was able to return my bundle and get another one in its place. Megan went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. This shouldn’t have to ever happen and they need to work on contact with customers. It’s ridiculous to have to wait 3 days to talk (email) someone.
Hopefully I don’t have these same issues with my second shipment. Giving them one more chance and if I have the same issues, then I will just get my diapers from Target were I know I will get to immediate customer service. It just made me wonder how a successful company can allow their phones line to go down.

Just awesome!

TheHonestCompany makes changing and updating my bundle so easy and convenient. Shopping for additional items is just as easy and fun! I like that I can swap diaper packs for different sizes, for overnight packs, and/or for training pants all right in TheHonestCompany .

I've been getting my son's diapers, wipes, and other baby care items from Honest for almost two years now. They are the best baby care items we've tried. And sooo good on his sensitive skin. This company has THE BEST customer service, hands down, of any company I've encountered. Every single person I've spoken with has been friendly, genuinely interested in my concern and helping me, and gone above and beyond to make whatever issue correct. I will be an Honest supporter forever! Thank you so much for providing such great products for my baby, me, and our home! Thanks for providing such great customer service and wonderful employees! And thanks for having such a great and easy app that actually works how it's supposed to!

New App is Awful - update

Update from prior review - after 5 years using bundle I canceled our subscription. I emailed customer service about TheHonestCompany , I left a review, I sent an email but nothing changed. There are so many more options on the market than 5 years ago and I will just use those. The reason I loved ho eat was it was super convenient from start to finish but not anymore. Updating TheHonestCompany would have been very easy. TheHonestCompany is getting so many 1 star reviews it makes me think that honest is not as customer focused as it used to be.

This is the worst update I have ever encountered. It’s like you are trying to open your actual website within TheHonestCompany verses creating an App. We have bundled with honest for almost 5 years. I went in today to confirm everything and it took me 10 times longer to confirm my selections than ever before. The old version was streamlined and very easy to use. This new app is garbage. Fix it!! I have four children and do not have time to navigate poorly executed services and apps. Why do I have to pick each size and pattern individually? Why can’t I say I want 3 packages of size 4 and these are the patterns I like?? There was nothing wrong with the bundling portion of your app before. The new app is cumbersome, not intuitive, and not streamlined. I had to look multiple times to make sure I would get the full order needed to keep my family in stock over the next six weeks. Please fix this before I order again.

Good App but has issues saving

TheHonestCompany is great for finding products and seeing what is in stock. I do get a diaper bundle. Absolutely love the diapers and wipes! Best diapers for my daughters sensitive rear end. I went into TheHonestCompany and updated my ratio of diapers and training pant as my daughter is potty training. I went in a few days later to update diaper patterns and found out none of my changes saved. Redid everything and made sure it saved, just in case the first error was mine. Now the order has shipped...again with the wrong ratio of diapers and training pants. I love The Honest products, but I am getting tired of always checking things and items being out of stock, or having to deal with incomplete or wrong shipments. I just really want TheHonestCompany to work and the company to get their stuff figured out. I stopped the shipments for almost a year, but the bundle savings compared to store prices doesn’t compare. The diaper bundle is awesome, but poor service doesn’t make me want to keep the bundle. Maybe I will try some other store training pants for ones that will be ok for sensitive skin. I just don’t have time to put in to check my orders just to have to return everything. It ends up costing me too much time in the end.

Love the products hate the new app

I’ve been using Honest products for me and my family for 5+ years and love them but the latest app update has made managing my subscription impossible. First they changed the icon color so it’s nearly impossible to find it on my phone now (especially with dark mode). Now my password won’t work, I went through the process to change it and the new password will work on the web but not TheHonestCompany . I saved it via password manager and both that version and when I type it in doesn’t work. Lastly the layout and subscription management functionality is significantly worse. Feels like designed a less intuitive react website which they now leverage for TheHonestCompany , probably makes sense to streamline updates but feels like they didn’t test any of the ux. It took me 30+ minutes to update my prints because I had to go into each one and then the swipe to see other options wasn’t working well.
Lastly the options for add on items to my subscription seem far more limited which is odd given that you just dropped the discount from 25% to 15% but will let me add more. Hoping there are some updates soon so I can update this review and go back to enjoying picking out my products

Great work app techs

It works well. At first, when I updated online it took a while for TheHonestCompany to update. It seems to be catching up. I don't like TheHonestCompany shop date option, it lists it in a catalog style where you flip through. I like the calendar style better. I change my preferences often. I change ship dates often and the company keeps up. Overall I'd say it's successful.
.............................................................Update. I'm used to the above catalog style calendar to change ship dates. It's not a problem anymore. Everything is actually, honest. They fix stuff when it's broken. They say sorry when they do things wrong. They are nice to others. They share stuff. Like for Mother's Day I got a honest beauty gift. They aren't bossy. Like, When I said I needed to skip a few months they didn't make me cancel. Yay Also the baby wipes are the best I have found. They are super good quality and they last a long time. It takes me 2+ months to go through 4 packs.

Love it!

I’m giving TheHonestCompany a five star! It’s so easy to navigate. Of course the products are amazing and the diapers I’m in love with. Since I hade my first kid almost 3 years ago, I’ve been a costumer. I love how convenient it is to get all your baby necessities right to your door. Love that they don’t use harsh chemicals on all their products. The fitting on the diapers is so nice. I rewind every brand of diapers with both my kids and nothings fits as good as honest diapers.... and com’on, the designs are SO cute!
It all sounds perfect and it is! The only, only tiny detail, (I’ve gone through this a few times) is that they run out of the cute designs very quickly and wish that people like myself who are members and have already picked the designs before hand, don’t get them at the last minute because they are out of stock.

Other than that! This company is great and I’m sure I will continue to be a costumer for many years to come! :)

Honestly hate the app

I love honest, honestly. I honestly hate the honest app. We have been doing the bundles for 8 months. I love the diapers and wipes and the subscription service over all but TheHonestCompany itself needs major overhaul. For months it's had an incorrect ship date on one of our previous shipments. I recently got a new debit card and didn't update my card info in time and now that I have updated it it shows my new card info but still says there's an error. My bundle is now over a week late and still hasn't shipped. There was also a major flaw in TheHonestCompany a few months ago where it didn't show my bundle at all and I had to go in and create a new bundle so now I have two bundles (because you can't delete them in TheHonestCompany or online you have to call and that's too big of a hassle for me as a new mom) so I go in every few weeks and push the second bundle back as far as it will let me. But when my precious bundle showed back up, it sent me both and charged me for both. I rarely breakout my dinosaur MacBook but TheHonestCompany is more headache then it's worth. Again, love the company's products HATE TheHonestCompany .

Beyond happy and grateful!!

I’m so thankful for this company and love that TheHonestCompany has always been so easy and helpful! My son was born in late January of 2015, and with Living in Michigan that is a cold snowy time... so having a newborn during at that time and not to mention some really crazy postpartum in the weeks and months to follow, being able to order most everything I needed from a company I could trust and have it delivered to our door was such a HUGE HUGE help to me! Then continuing from there I’ve been able to try many of products from cleaning to makeup and have been so thrilled with so many things. There hasn’t been much I’ve not been in love with, but if there has ever been a concern or a question their customer service staff is always there to help and make things right! I’ve been so pleased and recommend this company and their bundles to every Mom I know!

“Love-hate” relationship

I LOVE Honest company products. The ONLY down side is they are too expensive. Though several times I have received the diaper bundle with malfunctioning diapers. What a hassle in-the-moment! They sent me some replacements but that doesn’t make up for it all the way. Still, I recommend Honest co because I can trust their product. Nowadays I am concerned about everything that gets put before my children. I look at just about every label and am quick to throw food in the trash that is likely to have toxins, etc. So peace of mind about the product I’m using is really the most important thing. I hope someday my family economy will be such that Honest bundles aren’t too expensive and I won’t have to give it another thought! Some of the products are quite unnecessary to me, like various makeups and oils, but I am still inclined to try them eventually. Thank you for the Happy Birthday diapers! Fix those diaper closures!!!

Convenient & Peace of Mind!

I love TheHonestCompany for several reasons! 1) my bundles (I have 3) are all set up and it’s extremely easy to open TheHonestCompany , tap a bundle and expedite my next shipping date and select my necessities! Even BETTER is that I can add 3 additional items to my bundle & receive 25% off. My daughter is going through a growth spurt and eating more than expected so I was able to add a formula to her diaper bundle and not stress about expediting my entire formula order, plus I got it for 25% off. So helpful considering I spend hundreds a month with Honest! (Because babies ain’t cheap!) my husband and I actually look forward to choosing our diaper patterns each month and the bundle is very fair & relative to what you use realistically monthly. So not only do I LOVE Honest in general- I love an app that makes spending all my money - easy and fun:)

Still Love Them After All These Years

We have been using the honest company since my daughter was born (almost 4 years now). When we decided we didn’t need diapers anymore because we potty trained my daughter at 20 months I just called in and they made it easy to switch to a different bundle that cost lease but still allowed us to get the other products we love (like the shampoos and dish soaps, etc). I gave them 4 out of 5 stars because their app could use a tiny bit more work. Everything is easy to navigate for the most part but I find myself having to re-figure out how to change my bundle each time ... minor annoyance but I’ve managed. The Honest Co. has always provided me great customer service and I love their products. I also mix things up with clothe diapers while using their disposable diapers for travel. Now with our second one on the way I look forward to continuing to use their products!

Whyyy??? Horrible new app!

Why one earth did they change a perfectly user friendly app and make it super difficult? After 3 years, I’ll be cancelling my subscription next month if they don’t fix it. It took me almost 10 minutes today to fix my diaper bundle since the print I had was out of stock this month. Most use honest sub because they don’t have that kind of extra time. Clearly they didn’t test TheHonestCompany update before publishing it.

You used to be able to see all of the available prints in your size and simply select the prints you want. Now it separates into 7 different sections and you have to individually select what prints you want 7 different times by side swiping an incredibly laggy/ buggy / touchy carousel of prints. So not necessary.

Also, last month, after I updated my sub prints, it sent (and charged me for) TWO identical boxes. The update subscription section is totally messed up and not user friendly like it used to be. You can never have enough diapers I guess but a surprise extra $80 charge could break the bank for some.

Loyalty!

I’ve used honest for going on four years. I used them with my daughter because she was allergic to pretty much every diaper and wipe out there. And back then they didn’t have the water wipes or anything remotely “sensitive”. Now my son has the same problem and we’ve used them from day one when we realized huggies were causing his diaper rash. No creams or medicines or home remedies (even tried breast milk) worked, so I knew what would, honest diapers. I do always wish you got the same amount of diapers in each box no matter the size. Fro example you get like 42 in size one and about 23 at size 4, for the same $80 a month. There should be a loyalty program, if you’ve used them for more than one child or more than one year, you get an extra pack a month or a 25% discount 😅 that would be lovely. I’m just saying. Anyways love the company, wish they’d quit selling out of the cute diapers so fast!

Perfect for Baby, Sometimes Frustrating for Mama

I have been subscribing to The Honest Company for 2 years now. My son has extremely sensitive skin and this is honestly the only diaper I can put on him and it not break his skin out (and I’ve tried all the other brands that promote the same quality of diaper). I am thankful for the Honest brand for this reason alone. The only frustration I truly have is the slow response with customer service, long waits to talk to someone on the phone and making changes to orders once it is processing. Even though it says you can change items while processing is happening, that is not true. I noticed that I needed to change the size of diapers once and although I was allowed to change it on TheHonestCompany , when the order arrived to my house the diaper size was the original one. Other than some small issues, I am again grateful for this brand!

You won’t regret it!

The Honest Company is worth every penny. I have been using their diapers since my son came home from the NICU & was able to fit in them. I love being able to pick which prints I want and which sizes, whether it’s 5 one way & 2 another. I do wish there was a more options to choose from though.
Not only have I used just the diapers. The mascara is to die for! I literally used to have to use about four mascaras just to have them look the way I wanted, not anymore I don’t even have to use my eyelash curler using the Honest mascara.
I have also used the detergent which I wish had a scent, the stain remover, the multi cleaner & baby multi cleaner, the tampons & pantyliners, shampoo & conditioner, the all purpose balm, & I’m sure there is more.

Love the app and company

TheHonestCompany is very easy to use. Love to have the ability to mix and match sizes, prints and even over night dippers. I also like how easy it is to add on other items and get a nice discount on those items. While it does say they ship monthly, it really is up to you how often, how soon or how late u want those items to be shipped next. My husband went and got some at the store and did not communicate with me. I was so concern that those monthly diapers would come in and I would have to many but to my surprise I was able to move the date back. Everything about TheHonestCompany to their products are sincerely the best I’ve tried so far. Makes my
Life easier and makes me feel
Like I am doing something good for my child.

Tech seems to be 🗑 now

I’m surprised at how poor the tech has become. I was sent an email stating my order couldn’t process due to payment… I couldn’t even get TheHonestCompany to work to check my order. Had to log in from the website- I couldn’t find anything wrong with my order, payment or address. Then sent an email asking for help and NO response. I tried to reprocess my order and it just repeated. So I redid the entire bundle- diapers, wipes, sizes…the whole thing. Still didn’t work. After a week of no difference in app or progress with order, I called for help and they stated my order wouldn’t process because they were out of a certain wipe selection. Then said it should show when editing my bundles… no. It didn’t. Lady was an angel! Still doesn’t help with poor app or processing issues making it seem my payment wouldn’t work.
WHY send an email stating it’s my payment when it was a simple wipe exchange?! Do better. At this rate I may go with Abby & Finn.

Overall 👍 just a few things

I enjoy the overall app experience. I also enjoy the great customer service at the Honest Co. there are a few things that could make TheHonestCompany experience more enjoyable:

1.) the ability to customize the bundle. There is no way for me to add nighttime diapers or training pants in my bundle on TheHonestCompany , although I know they will gladly do this over the phone or online. I'm not always able to hop on a computer or the phone so it would make life easier if I could do this via TheHonestCompany .

2.) changing default payment. I can add new cards, but I don't see a way to delete the default payment method and I just kept getting taken back to the shipping page which was frustrating. I guess I'll have to call this in because I'd hate to forget to switch one time and have the wrong card charged.

Shipment status problem

Most things about TheHonestCompany are great like ordering patterns, sizes and shipping fulfillment is fast. I’d like to change the ease of swapping sizes because its a bit confusing now. The big reason that I’m giving 3 stars instead of 5 is because TheHonestCompany says when the next shipment is scheduled and when the last one was delivered, but shipments in progress kind of disappear from the system when they are in transit. This has caused me a lot if stress in the past because I’ll log in thinking that I’m going to run out changing my shipment day to be asap, only to find that a shipment was already on its way. I’ve gotten double orders several times. luckily the company will exchange diapers at no charge for a different size, but its the hassle of it all having to call snd drop off a box all the while having a newborn and a toddler. Time and mental space are precious!
