Worst Order Tracking and Customer Service

I ordered from Maurya Bayview. For 30 mins it was showing me that my order is in works and driver will pick it up soon, but then i got a notification saying ‘Restaurant has just closed but dont worry you will get your money back’. I need food not my money back after waiting for 30 mins.

In another incident, i had a coupon that i got from a friend so i downloaded foodoraNorway and ordered but the coupon was not working, i reached out to customer service chat and she said the coupon is going to be valid after two days but i need food when i downloaded foodoraNorway and not two days later. I am not sure who does the Product design for foodoraNorway but certainly they need to just go across the border to US and use seamless or grubhub to update their user stories.

Anyway i came to Canada to visit a friend and will be back to US but would definitely want foodora Product designers to incorporate more controls and give real time service and food and not be good at just giving money back in case of mess ups.

Waited one hour to cancel my order

Customer service chat virtually unreachable. Had the restaurant call me three times asking what was happening as they couldn't get thru to foodora either. Waited an hour to get a notification that my order had been canceled for lack of drivers. Food had already been prepared and was waiting to be picked up. After waiting another half hour finally got thru to the support chat line but they were rude and unhelpful. Repeated that the order was cancelled and refunded but didnt do anything about the wait time or the restaurant. When I asked what they would do about the food that was already prepared she just said
"we will throw it away". I had to tell the restaurant the news myself. Poor organization and customer service. Ordered from uber eats afterwards and they had plenty of drivers and the food was at my door exactly on time.

wish I could give zero stars

Man, if I could give zero stars, I would. The customer service is ATROCIOUS. foodoraNorway glitches, and you end up talking to a million different people about one case every time something happens because if you don't stay in foodoraNorway chat feature while you're talking, foodoraNorway will automatically bump you out of it altogether. They do their best to avoid giving refunds even when food is cold and late, which it is more often than not.

Every driver and the servers/owners at the restaurants are absolutely wonderful people and I have nothing against them - the company itself is the problem. They do not care at all about the quality of their customer service and sadly it shows. Use at your own risk.

I have closed my account and will not be using them again. Good riddance!

We love it

Every time we have ordered food we were very happy with it. The delivery was always on time except for one time but you can't complain about it because technology was in the game anyway we know how to order ...we know when openings hours are .... we order on time!
if you think before you order, you have everything right... so I don't understand why people keep complaining ,they have to read in order to make a delivery ;-)
we love it no doubt about it
we will use it in the future and we just ordered food for tonight. Wishing everybody's a nice weekend

Foodora is fine until there is a problem

A restaurant cancelled my order, within minutes of me placing it. foodoraNorway indicated it would take up to 10 business days to issue a refund, which seemed like a ridiculously long time, but fine. Three+ weeks later, I’ve still not seen the refund despite spending over on hour on chat with foodoraNorway , and much back and forth via email. Now they say it was refunded, but can’t tell me when because it’s “automatic, in 3-5 days” - I’ve checked my credit card transactions and there is still no refund. No I have to spend more time dealing with the bank to get this sorted out.
I keep ordering because the options for delivery service are limited, and mostly pretty bad. I really miss Seamless/grubhub :(

Worst app and customer service in history.

I ordered food via foodoraNorway and the ETA kept changing between 10 minutes and 45 minutes. I tried to contact customer service to see what was going on, but the chat app told me there were 19 customers ahead of me. I waited only to be disconnected form the chat because of inactivity. No option to call them. I ended up having to drive to the restaurant to pick up my food myself. The restaurant was also trying to contact Foodora to no avail. I’ve since asked for a refund for the driver’s tip (the one that never showed up) and till today no answer from Foodora. Don’t download!

Completely broken delivery times

Foodora will show you restaurants delivering to your area with delivery time as a prominent feature of each restaurant. You can even sort by delivery time, to help pick the restaurant.

However, the delivery times are completely arbitrary, with no responsibility for foodora or the restaurant. Only after you have ordered and paid will you see the actual delivery time, and this can be over an hour (yes, 60 minutes) more than announced, and they will not care.

Only use foodora if you have an arbitrary amount of time available to wait for your delivery.

ZERO FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

If there were a zero I’d give it for incompetent customer service. I had a technical issue that foodora had no competence in solving. I accidentally blocked the account after not recognizing the charges on my credit card. Changing credit card, changing email address, deleting and reinstalling app did not work. Foodora had absolutely no customer competence or technical solution for this problem. Sorry to say. I would have loved to keep using foodora but foodora had no ability to solve the problem. Life hack if this has happened to you is to switch to one of their competent competitors. Best solution.

Waited one hour then they canceled for no reason

I’ve had many customer service problems with this company. But tonight was the worst. I came home late from a long day of work and ordered delivery. The order was confirmed by the company. Then they suddenly canceled my order one hour later, saying their drivers all went home. I am livid! If they can’t make good on the order, they should not accept it from the beginning. I’ve been waiting hungry for one hour! Terrible customer service when I contacted them to resolve the problem. I will never use the service again.

Always too busy- orders cancelled

foodoraNorway is awful. 9 out of 10 times you can’t even place an order because they are too busy. But more infuriating is when you do place an order, they cancel it 40 to 60 minutes later saying they are too busy. And this is when I pre-order - shouldn’t that put me at a top of a priority list? So you wait around thinking food is coming and then they just cancel it much later with annoyingly cutesy messages and no apology for leaving you in the lurch. Ditch Foodora - go with one of the other delivery apps out there.

Payment

I’m not sure if it was apple pats fault or foodoraNorway but because I am from the US and ordering in Canada it took me almost an hour to get my credit card to work- after having already told my husband to come home because dinner was on the way. It would be nice if they verified payment in the beginning so you don’t waste time checking out restaurants and placing an order only to find out it was a waste of time....

New interface is terrible!

I am a regular foodora customer and have always been a fan, but this new interface is horrible. They let you know when ‘the rider should be at your place’, but they give you no other information. You have no idea if the food has been picked up, where the rider is, etc. On top of that, they have taken out their chat feature on foodoraNorway so you are forced to call the restaurant. Huge disappointment.

They do not follow through!

For one, my dinner order a few weeks ago was marked as delivered and I never got it. Then after waiting for ages on the customer service chat, I was told that I’d be reimbursed and get a 200 NOK coupon that would be applied when we next ordered. Well, we put in an order and NO 200 NOK discount was applied to my account. Now I will wait for a few more hours for a foodora chat bot to get back to me... and let’s hope my meal makes it to me this time.

Reliable and fast

Great, reliable and always fast delivery in Vancouver. You have probably the best variety of restaurants and the food is always on time. App lets you track its way which is cool. Extremely easy to order and coupons are a nice bonus

Freaking Amazing!!!

I don’t know what the fuzz is about but I used them weekly and have only had 1 issue with them in the past 8 months. The customer service here in Cologne, Germany has helped me out without much problem. Keep up the good work guys.

bad company to deal with if there is any issues

waiting for delivery for over one hour and was told it was my problem and no food and no refund!

use wolt if you are in norway instead!

app says delivery was completed , I went to the hotel receptionist to check and there was no delivery . we called the restaurant and was told delivery was on the way . one hour later, I called the restaurant and they said the delivery was picked up one hour ago and there’s nothing they can do. called foodora and they said delivery guy called me many times before the delivery which is not true. I only got one phone call which I missed.

Amazing!

I’m a visitor in Sweden and enjoy foodoraNorway a lot!! It works on holidays so I don’t have to look around for open restaurants!! I just order from foodoraNorway to my hotel :))

No customer service

I placed an order over an hour ago that was meant to take 35 minutes. I couldn’t reach customer service on time enough to cancel the order on time. I don’t want my money. It’s late and I just want to go to bed.
There is no way to reach customer service. It is awful.
Do not order from here if you want your food on time. There isn’t even a number to call.
If I could give 0 stars I would.

Horrible experience

I failed online to order because of a glitch with the site. Wouldn’t finish order after putting in payment. App was awful and kept telling me the email was registered and to sign in — but I was already signed in. I like your restaurants better than Deliveroo, but Deliveroo is much more reliable in terms of functionality. Jo

Hard time ordering

I try to submit my order for to 5 times before it finally went through. I also would recommend you updated your app to be able to add a credit card.

Why does foodoraNorway make me creat a nickname for myself prior to submitting... I have tried five names and they’ve all been taken, this is absolutely ridiculous. You need to make your app more user-friendly with a better UI

Free delivery I’ll take you over every other site any day

Without a fee helped me buy more food ironically “lol. Sometimes it’s just me sometimes it’s me and my partner- I don’t always want to spend 15$ on food to get it delivered or pay an enormous charge.
