For a bank that makes millions of dollars how do they have an app this bad. Not only do I have to log in with a physical password everytime(no face recognition) it also asks for my company ID every single time. And guess what, if you leave FirstMerchants for even 10 secs to do something else, it logs you out and you have to do it all over again! Then when I’m actually in FirstMerchants , my balance just doesn’t show, it’s always “N/A”. Then the employee at the bank says that their personal banking app is better, open an account and you can see your business balance there quicker. No, I’m not opening another account with you as a band aid for your awful app. Biggest joke of a banking app I’ve ever seen.

Bank should work on the transactions activity its very hard to see where payments went and there there is no check picture and there no description in past transactions about how much was available balance after deductions from your account

No matter what we do we can never log into FirstMerchants. Oh my God, I hate First Merchant’s Bank. I wish they’d never bought our old bank.

App requires you to agree to the terms for each check in a multiple check deposit. My other banks don’t require this repetitive act. What a waste of time. We will probably leave the bank for another bank that is more respectful of my time.

Mobile banking use to be so smooth and easy, could quickly check account and transfer funds between accounts when one was low... not FirstMerchants is a simple check your balance and recent transactions.... please go back to the old features to help make the mobile banking better...

First Merchants combined the business and personal mobile banking apps and this Business app is no longer used. FirstMerchants does not inform the user when you try to use it. It just tells you your USER ID is wrong. I wasted an hour trying to make it work. Other people
had the same experience. It would be nice for FirstMerchants to be updated to notify users not to use it any longer.

Why not name the fields the same on the mobile app as the website? Also, it would make sense to require the user to enter the information in the same order as the website. The website requires: CompanyID, LoginID, then the next screen is Password.

The mobile names these fields completely different on UI and the data required is in a different order.

Extremely confusing for the end user.

I hate FirstMerchants , the level of security necessary, and minimalistic outdated approach to banking FirstMerchants /online experience provides. That said, I can still check my balance, see recent transactions, and deposit checks. It does perform basic functions.

I hate that I can’t view the checks I wrote or the checks I deposit! MB&T used to scan them in online which made it so convenient! Not FMB scans in their internal bank slip?!?!? Dumb! Also when looking at each separate debit you can not see where it’s for… you have to open each one separately. SO INCONVENIENT! Guhhhhh

Crashes when attempting to mobile deposit a check

The business app does not allow for facial recognition login or use of a program like Roboform. Trying to do a mobile deposit the lighting conditions have to be just right. Tried three times with an overhead light on and it rejected it, lit from the side it then accepted it. Very frustrating! It would have been quicker to drive to the bank.

Doesn’t work well with mobile deposit when taking photo of endorsement. It takes several times to get it to go through.

I like the double security on FirstMerchants . Simple to use, but it does make it difficult to log into at times. Log in frequently so it does not go inactive. Inactivity makes it hard to get logged in when you need to.

Needs to allow face recognition or allow to save password on the mobile device. Hard to remember passwords these days.

The business app doesn’t support Face ID. So I have to memorize the company ID. That is doable... but the facial recognition seems very secure and is convenient besides. Three stars because everything works, but incompatible with device functions.

Our bank was purchased by First Merchants. The transition was better than expected. I only had to make two trips to our local branch to get everything up and running. The problem is key strokes required for every check deposited. 250% more for every check! As treasurer for our 501,c,3 it is a weekly reminder that I should find a new bank. Fortunately I’m retired, so I probably won’t.

In have been having issues with my login ID on my mobile phone. Twice I have had issues where my up to date login info was not accepted.

Being forced to look up password and company ID is rather annoying. The business app should easily accept a thumb print scan off the phone for convenience. Same as the Personal app. .

Like the new + button at the bottom to simply the menu. Makes it quicker to reach mobile deposit and transfers.
