If I couls give it a ZERO, I would... each and every update it gets worse! First it was the never ending terms and condition that I have to accept every time I use ACFreedom , but then connection between ACFreedom and the air conditioning equipment started failing and I had to delete and add again every equipment installed... if that was not enough, another update came and I thought it would repair everything, but guess what, it didn’t! They added now for us to select a server between “European” and “other area” that has to be done every time to access the software. And with this last update, they went for the whole enchilada, now if you want to add the air conditionar again, you need to select the wifi, eventough, you already did... and if you change it, it will not detect the wifi and you are never able to add the equipment again!...

Perfec crap...

The UI of ACFreedom has warped scaling issues, and the controls have a significant amount of lag, ACFreedom freezes up every time you change temperatures, etc. ACFreedom is also very inconsistent. I attempted to add an AC, but it continually failed to connect to my wifi. I had this AC working fine on the exact same network, but it now refuses to connect. As a software developer, I am genuinely taken aback that this passed Apple’s QA.

I had thee AUX purchased and installed at the same time. Two 24K and one 12K and I’ve tried endlessly on all three units, very carefully following instructions, to connect and it’s never made it past trying to connect to wi-fi. I even turned 5G off and still can’t connect to my network.

My home is located in the Azores ( Portugal) and the humidity level is quite high year round. I would like to set a humidity target. For example if humidity Goes above 55% to turn it on . Dear developer please offer an update to ACFreedom with this function. Many other app have this function why doesn’t AC Freedom?

The timer will allow you to turn the unit on but not off! We would like to set the timer on and off when we are not there as we spend the summer away from the condo. That renders it useless for me. On a positive note our condo is in Mexico and we’re in the US. Nice to be able to control it remotely, but I have to remember to turn it on and off

I had ACFreedom after purchasing an ac unit and before the last update, everything worked amazing! ACFreedom was a little slow from time to time but did get the job done. Ever since the newest update, I keep failing connection to the AC. I know for a fact it’s not the internet but everything time I click a button it tells me the service in my area is down and needs to be repaired... after waiting months... still the same message. I’ve given up on ACFreedom and just use the remote when in range but wish ACFreedom was like it was before.
On a side note, my boyfriend is able to use ACFreedom on his phone and it works for him but still no luck for me.

It was working fine in previous versions! Simple interface and no fuss. Now it’s a pain to use too many popups for policies and agreements and it is near impossible to pair ACs anymore! I have tried to re-pair my AC literally tens of times with no luck!

Last update made ACFreedom extremely frustrating to use. It ask EVERY TIME running ACFreedom to accept policies, which I’ve done already like dozens of time. Last update made it work extremely slow. Response on choosing modes are like 20 second delayed.
If I could downgrade to previous version, that would be awesome.
I’m using iPhone Xs Max if it helps to fix these issues in next update.
I’ll be glad to use it as it was. I never knew how good it was before it got this bad.

I just got this unit and I can not connect to the wifi, I try everything and follow instruccions step by step and nothing, the menu says call customer service for help but what number???

The application controls all aspects of my AC. Even has scheduled timers to switch the AC on and off at different time of the day.

It integrates with google home but does not give you other than an on/off capability. ACFreedom is also sometimes slow/laggy.

I hope more features can be added to google home and ACFreedom can be a bit more snappy.

It’s an ok app so far just annoying that temp is only available in Celsius because adding a Fahrenheit must be to challenging. Constantly have to change the unit via the controller back to °F after using ACFreedom .

It only allows to control the unit in Celsius. Which I do not understand. Seems like there should be a way for the system to calculate Fahrenheit instead of Celsius. Somebody knows why this is and there’s no resources online to change it over to Fahrenheit

ACFreedom works again and it does have great features and interface. However, it would be great if we can re-order the AC list to bring the most used ones at the top.

Writing a review for the people having issues connecting their appliances via wifi. Make sure to check the password you’re using on ACFreedom and the actual password of your wifi router are the same. If you change the password, you need to update ACFreedom as well.

It would be nice if you could schedule the cleaning mode for regular cleaning. As of now it’s not available on ACFreedom .

Easy to set up to your WiFi and now I have the ability to control the system from my phone. I can only control it when I’m on the same network. I haven’t figured out how to access it outside of my home.

The new app works fine (the timers function was broken but they fixed it). Love not having to find a remote when the phone is always handy. Haven’t tried alexa or Google Assistant to make comment on that.

ACFreedom may not be perfect, but it gets the job done.

When I want to upgrade it shows " Upgrade succesful " but nothing changes and my last version doesnt change !
