This and the other apps that Viessmann producers are less then desirable. I have a new Gas Vitodens 343 and Vitoconnect 100 and on a given day the thing does not work. Problem ONE is that constantly drops the signal and you have to go to the heater to change the settings. Problem TWO is ViCare kick you and requires you to login again only to tell you it can’t login you at which point you create a new account and it tells you that the info you are entering is not valid. I will stop here since there is limited space for an evaluation .... The short DON’T buy Viessmann because the product does not work....service NONE. If they only spend less on the cross country ski advertising and a bit more on the product that might be a start.

Just installed a brand new gas heating unit. App says hot water is turned on, you take a shower… water is cold. Reset everything, now it says water is off, although on the unit it says it’s on… can’t turn it off from ViCare anymore. Turn on heating, turn off heating, turn it on again, doesn’t want to come on in ViCare , but you find out that on the unit it’s on and you can’t turn it off from ViCare anymore. Basically the one reason you buy their heating units, for the integrated wifi… and it doesn’t work. Not to mention hourly programming is completely disabled and you can’t change the factory settings. About 3 show-stopping bugs in less than a couple of days of usage.

App works well, easy to use and install. Would be great if there was a way to integrate it into a home control system Iike control4 or Apple's HomeKit.

It also be nice if you could set a date/time when vacation or party modes were done so that boiler would go back to its normal schedule (just got home from vacation and it took a while to remember I had made the change before we left - the family was complaining that they had no hot water)....

Please add landscape mode for iPad. Especially useful when iPad in use with Magic Keyboard.

Thank you for your response. Landscape mode is there, as experimental feature which needs to be turned on manually.

Each revision of ViCare removes some useful function. There is an external sensor that provides temperature data. Until this version you could monitor that data over the course of the week and see a very helpful graph of the high and low temperatures recorded by your sensor each day. Now you cannot and are left with the weather service information which bears little relation to the actual temperature at the house.

The latest update fixed my crashing issue. Works as it did before plus I appreciate the new features. I’m looking forward to the future updates, especially gas consumption for DHW and heating!

I can view and modify all critical heating settings. Can monitor boiler status and operating temperatures from anywhere , including modulation percent , radiant system water temperature, circulating pumps on/off, others.

You make great products, at least put some effort in UX/UI. ViCare has a poor user journey, is not intuitive and looks very boring, like it never left the wireframes stage. I would redesign this for you but unfortunately I don’t have the time. Your app icon looks pretty nice. It’s actually of the better looking ones I have on my phone. Why did you stop there?

I recently ran into a problem after I unselected the usage of Firebase tracking for ViCare . ViCare kept on giving me an error that there is a problem with my wifi, Internet, etc. when everything with my Internet connection was fine. After I deleted ViCare & reinstalled, everything worked fine (Firebase tracking checked by default). This was a last resort since I tried to activate the Firebase tracking & I still got the same error.

The previous version was preferred to this 2.03
Color, vacation modes, quick changes functionality, boiler temperature was ALWAYS visible , not just while the boiler is firing.

I have solar DHW ( domestic hot water) capability and want to know what the water temp actually is without using the boiler , therefore the actual dhw temp should always be indicated.

Take note of previous reviews. We are all essentially griping about the same issues.

There should also be a way to clear the log of old messages.

Thank you for allowing adjustment of water heat again through app. This update is better but still not as good as it was before the big change. Miss the feature that allows for us to leave unexpectedly and to turn off the heater or water heater. Or to reduce the mode.

Nice to have so much control at your fingertips. Request: Enable 3D Touch for Out and About and add a “heat only” mode. I can set a schedule where at night my heat continues, but I disable hot water, but no line item that says heat only.

After the new update 3.0.2 I can again fully control my system. Wonderful product and now ViCare works too.

My this app is not displaying gas consumption. This feature was a leading factor in the installation this Summer of my Vitocrossal 300 and it’s expensive add ons.

I like the fact I can put eyes on the system but with the Vitotronic it’s limited. I also with it would send push email notifications to multiple emails.

Application is useless, Vitotrol plus was a way much better, interface and settings are not user friendly, have no copy of the settings for the other days, need to input manually for each and every day. Not comfortable. Not recommended to use ViCare, or need a lot of upgrades for this version of this app ...

Useless app does not run anymore since the update to version 3. On my phone and my wife’s phone ViCare launches, shows the “your new this app screen” for about five seconds and then quits. I have a iPhone XS running iOS 14.2. She has an iPhone 8 also running 14.2

The language in the activity feed screen in the latest update is now in German with no apparent option to turn it back to English.

Activation of Economy Mode does not shut off DHW re-circulation pump relay.

This is a great accessory for your Viessmann boiler. Very easy to set up and use. Cycle down to economy mode with one button touch. The controls is optimized when used with a Vitotronic 200/ 300 control.

Your new update has put my outdoor temp tracking in unavailable status. Tried rebooting but it won’t come back on.

Doesn't respect app temperature settings. Displays in Fahrenheit but must be set in Celsius.

Domestic hot water is even more of a mess because of the different temperatures displayed in different scales.

This nonsense started with the last update. Not acceptable. I don't care what you do in the code but as a user I should only see the temperature scale I pick.
