Best app ever!

I am really impressed by Lemonaid. It does everything it claims to do and more. This has got to be a God send to those without insurance. I was initially concerned because my proider doesnt cover this service. However, I was amazed to discover that I would only end up paying $10 more than my regular co-pay. On top of that, the price I paid was the price that was advertised. No tax, no additional hidden fees.

Creating an account was simple and the medical history questions are short, easy to answer and self explanatory. The questions are not redundant, unlike the new patient questionnaires you'd fill out in person. When it came time to have my visit, I waited 4 whole minutes for a doctor to become available. Which is nothing compared to the time I spend in my GP'S waiting room. The video and audio quality was good and easy to understand. The doctor was really nice and made me feel totally comfortable with the experience. He was thorough and made sure I completely understood what he had to say and that all of my questions were answered. After less than 10 minutes (including wait time) I had seen a doctor, understood my issue and had a prescription waiting at my choice of pharmacy. I chose to have my appointment during my lunch break and still had time to eat and was back to work on time.

Thank you, this app! Where have you been all my life?

Amazing!

Don’t be afraid! GO FOR IT. I got a Infection and I couldn’t even walk out of my house plus I don’t have insurance. So this company just SAVED my life. I always think so much and I look everything up before buying anything or using any service. So I was not sure what to expect but with the pain that I was feeling I just went for it. Actually I first bought bunches of pain killers and I did what Google says me to do against the UTI. Lots of water, cranberry juice. But nothing was helping. So finally I gave in and tried the this app. And I’m impressed. All the doctors are very nice. The doctor for VA wasn’t available the time that I call but another very nice doctor had an appointment with me. And then the next day the VA doctor send me texts and I called again. He putt my prescription in and I picked up after one hour. They gave a full re found even though I didn’t ask for it. Just because the VA doctor wasn’t available. They are very nice and honest.
The girl Jen that work there helped me with some questions. They were all very nice and extremely capable.
Please please don’t be afraid. And don’t wait like me. They definitely helped me and they can help anyone.
Just for let everybody know that is the first time that I review a app. And I just did because I think if they helped me they gonna help much more people.

AMAZING company! Next generation healthcare!

I went to pick up my birth control prescription on a Sunday. I get to CVS and find out that my prescription has expired and they couldn’t give me my prescription until I contacted my doctor for a new one. If I were to have contacted my doctor, made an appt, took the time to go to the appt, and got a new prescription written, I may not have been able to get my birth control for a few more days, which is not ideal (obviously). So, I tried Lemonaid after a friend recommended it, and I was literally mind blown that this kind of app exists. I answered my heath questions, picked out my exact birth control that i’ve been on for 3 years, picked out the CVS location that i wanted to pick it up at, and paid $20 on Sunday afternoon. First thing Monday morning I video chatted with a doctor, told him what I needed, and within 1 hour I had a text from CVS telling me my prescription was ready for pickup. I picked up my pills with no problems, and I got 1 years worth of pill refills. AMAZING app! I saved so much time and inconvenience by using Lemonaid. I highly recommend Lemonaid to anyone in similar situations. I will definitely keep using Lemonaid and keep recommending it to my friends. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

Totally NOT too good to be true

I am also a fellow former Nurx user and though I liked the convenience of getting birth control online one of the drawbacks of Nurx is the availability and also the fact that the doctor review takes a bit longer. In my experience it took about a week from application to delivery to get my hbc from Nurx. I just moved to a new state and needed to refill my prescription but Nurx is not available here. After a google search I found this app and it offers more services, is available in my new state (and also in more states) and from application to pharmacy delivery took about an hour. Super helpful in a pinch when you need a new prescription after moving and don’t have time to go to the doctor. Also if you are not doing delivery with Nurx’s pharmacy you have to pay a delivery fee to your local pharmacy, while with this app you just pay for the visit. The doctor’s visit was fast, my doctor was kind and great at explaining everything I needed and it was just a 4 minute wait to see him, after-hours at that. It definitely beats going to a doctor’s office to refill a prescription. I have nothing but positive things to say about this app and will recommend it to everyone.

A new era of healthcare

As a very busy business professional I don't have a lot of time to take off work and spend an hour in the waiting room for a quick 5 minute consult for certain medical consultations. While I do go to the doctor on an annual basis for a physical, there are many instances whereby I need a shorter interaction to discuss simple conditions that warrant a prescription. I am so happy I found this app! As healthcare progresses I would equate this app to Telemedicine. I was able to create an account and enter all of my medical information along with current medications which ultimately determined if I warranted a consultation with one of this app’s Physicians. As it was determined I did warrant a consultation, within 2 minutes I was face-timing a physician based locally that was able to provide further diagnosis while discussing prescription opportunities that are indicated in line with my condition. As I have been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years I was shocked that the caliber of the physician I was interacting with. He is one that I would probably have as a primary care physician, however, in this case the Telemedicine interaction was perfect for the consultation and prescription I ultimately received. Thanks again! JP

Easy, convenient, discreet!

This is the best app and service I’ve found for my very personal issues as well as the simple ones. Sometimes it can be hard to talk to someone face to face about our very personal issues. This service and app are very easy to use and a lot of times resolutions to our problems are just a phone call away. Mostly you fill out questionnaires and then the doctor or nurse practitioner reviews your answers and then calls you at a scheduled time and day to discuss your treatment. Generally, these phone calls or video conferences end in a treatment plan and medication. The meds are mailed USPS to your door in discreet packaging. However, there are times when you might be referred to a physical exam by a Dr in your area before a resolution can be made. This happens very seldom. If you’re dealing with a physical or mental issue and are too scared or embarrassed to talk to a Dr in person than this app can and will help. If you’re looking for convenience and discretion this service/app is for you! They accept FSA as well! So why wait? Try them now, and be impressed like I am now! Fast Friendly Service!

Lemonaid Health is the perfect solution for busy/on the go professionals.

I woke up in the middle of the night with symptoms of a UTI and instantly knew I had a minor UTI. I am a Registered Nurse. I have had UTIs in the past. I definitely am not a stranger to recognizing the symptoms. Last year, I let one go far too long without medical care and let me say it was one of the worse experiences of my entire life. The worst pain and discomfort. Well, I decided not to ever let that happen to me again. So when I woke up in the middle of the night last night I knew I had to be proactive ASAP. In the midst of googling home remedies this app Health app popped up as an option. I researched and researched and thought it is worth a try. I am currently in between jobs therefore, do not hold medical insurance at the moment. Lemonaid is perfect for situations such as this. I created an account answered about 10 or so questions about my health issue and waited only about an hour before I received a message stating my prescription was ready for pickup. I will definitely recommend Lemonaid from now on to friends and family.

Seamless Process

I recently lost my free health insurance because, as a server in a small suburb, I “make too much money.” My prescription for my birth control pill that I’ve been on for years was about to run out. I wanted to try this instead of needing to take off work and pay 150$ plus for another annual doctor or clinic visit to take my blood pressure and weigh me. I am beyond happy with this service - within hours , they called in my prescription to my local pharmacy that I’ve always used. Another amazing feature , besides saving money- is , they offer name brand pills that you can select from . I’ve used other sites in the past that promised a generic of my pill I’m already on, and I was left with off brand pills that just didn’t work for me and my body. this app allowed me to easily renew my script for my name brand pill that I would rather pay full price for than take a generic- which they still include the option of doing, which is nice too. They have options for everyone and I honestly cannot day enough good things about this company and how seamless the process was.

Absolutely Worth It

I’ve always struggled with anxiety and depression. But, when you have anxiety it’s hard to gain the courage to talk with a health care provider about it, and when you have depression it’s hard to feel like you’re worth someone’s time. I made COUNTLESS trips to a doctor’s office only to talk myself out of going before I ever made it there. With this app, I didn’t have time to get in my head and talk myself out of it. I did a quick health assessment, and within 5 minutes I was speaking to a doctor. Dr. Walvick was absolutely wonderful and understood that I was having a bad day struggling with my anxiety. He didn’t make me feel embarrassed and he didn’t treat me like a burden. He made me feel like he genuinely cared about my health and that I wasn’t just another dollar sign. I think as someone who has anxiety, the best thing about Lemonaid is that they were so fast to respond that I didn’t have time to “run away”. I would 100 percent recommend this to ANYONE. It’s so convenient and so easy to use, I really can’t say enough good things about the entire experience.

Outstanding Business/Incredible Service

I just found out about this app after reading an internet article about one of their competitors; less than 2 weeks ago I had no idea these companies even existed. I decided to go with this app after reading positive reviews. Literally in less than one day everything was done. I established an account about 9 in the morning, had discussions with a doctor, a medicine was prescribed and by 2 pm, same day, I had the meds in hand. Frickin’ incredible!!! The only thing I paid for was the meds (forgot to mention the $25). I discovered they had an app after I signed up through their website. I downloaded Lemonaid but it wouldn’t recognize my credentials. I called the company and after speaking with someone for a few minutes, the kink was worked out and I proceeded to use Lemonaid to complete the process. The entire process is extremely fast and convenient and other than the minor kink in the beginning, I’m still blown away by the experience and the ridiculously low price I paid for the meds.

Just had my 1st appointment

Couldn’t be more pleased. I do have a blood pressure cuff in my house which you need a recent blood pressure to be prescribed birth control. For those who don’t that could be tricky but everything else was so easy, convenient and fast. I got the exact birth control I wanted which I wasn’t even aware it was back on the market again but Lemonade Health had them on their list. I haven’t been able to speak to a person at my doctor’s office at all this week when I was hoping for a refill because I really don’t want to be in the doctor’s office for an annual exam during COVID. It’s an annual, as long as nothing has changed I’m not sure why it’s such an issue to wait? I filled out my info and I got a call the very next day. With an actual human. I still need my annual exam but I’ll be doing it later this year and now I don’t have to worry about my birth control running out. Also my NP was super nice. If you are worried about trying telemedicine don’t be. Best decision I’ve made this year.

I was skeptical - my mind changed IMMEDIATELY

I used this app Health to get a prescription to treat my depression and anxiety. Lemonaid was easy to use and gave me a quick form to fill out, which is the basic things you’d get asked at the doctor’s office, as well as more specific things about your condition. It took less than 10 minutes to fill out, then I was ready for a video call with Dr. Davis Liu, who was extremely friendly, informative, and helpful. He asked good questions with no judgement and gave very thoughtful advice. The video call did not feel rushed at all, he took time to get to know me and make me feel comfortable. I was given a prescription and filled in on all the necessary information about it and given a game plan for how we move forward. I will be checking in with him/his team in about 3 weeks to see how things are going. I’m very satisfied with the service and the extra effort made by the team to make me feel like I’m getting the best care possible. Huge thank you!

Amazing experience!

I’ve only used Lemonaid for UTIs, so I can’t speak to their other services, but the response time and quality of care is excellent. I’ve now used Lemonaid for the second time for a UTI, and it was 100% worth every second and cent. Although it was a weekend and outside of their business hours, I heard back from a doctor in less than 24 hours - I started my visit late Saturday afternoon, and by Sunday mid-morning, I’d heard back from the doctor and they had sent my prescription to my pharmacy. I can always tell very early on when I’m getting a UTI, and I was dreading the prospect of waiting till Monday to even speak to my primary care doctor, even more so than usual because of the COVID-19 situations, and remembered I had used Lemonaid before and had a really smooth experience. I would absolutely recommend checking them out, they’ve got great nurse practitioners and doctors on staff, and both times have been set up with providers who were attentive and knowledgeable.

Chills

I paid $20 for them to tell me that having the chills means I could have a kidney infection even though I have a constant issue with UTI’s. I’ve had a kidney infection before, I know what that feels like with my body. I literally cannot help that I get UTI’s as much as I do and was really hoping for a safe, affordable, convenient way to just get medicine to help clear my system. I noted in detail in the boxes where they let you explain anything you want to add for when they review your application. I explained why I recognized it was a UTI. When I first tried to video chat with them (because it said I was ready to and that they would be available) it just kept loading.. So after awhile I just exited out of Lemonaid and went back in. That is when it said my application was closed and that I had a message saying the symptom chills is what closed it. I wish I wouldn’t have even clicked that because then at least I would’ve had the chance to talk to someone like it said I could. Really disappointed, I was kind of hesitant about this and wish I wouldn’t have wasted my money and time. If chills is the reason, why even let me go through with paying afterwards? I’ve never felt the need to write negative reviews but I felt kinda blown off with my application.

game changer for anxiety and depression treatment

Excellent healthcare at an affordable price. I needed anxiety medication, and decided to try Lemonade’s subscription service. In a lot of ways, I preferred it to an office visit. Their intake was very thorough, I only waited about ten minutes for a consultation, and the doctor was excellent. With the subscription service I was able to try a new medication at no additional cost when the first one didn’t work. I was also able to message the doctor with questions, and he always replied within 48 hours. And—this is the best part for patients adjusting to new mental health medications—they offer unlimited consultations for a flat subscription price. It’s essential for people starting new mental health medications to communicate with their doctors about how the treatment is going, but the cost is often prohibitive. Lemonade is changing that, and I think that’s awesome. For people without insurance especially this is a game changer, but even with insurance, this option might be better than an office visit for some.

Can’t believe I found this

I am so relieved I found out about Lemonaid. After seeing an ad for a different, similar service I started researching to see if there were others and which seemed the least scammy. Coming across this app and seeing all of the reviews here had me convinced. Last weekend when I was riddled with anxiety I ended up in the “waiting room” on Lemonaid and 45 minutes later (on a Sunday morning, not bad) I ended up video chatting with NP Youngblood. She was so nice and didn’t make me feel bad for crying. She made everything so easy to get back on my anxiety meds, and made sure to send me an “as needed” medication to take as well even though I hadn’t asked for it. It’s now Wednesday and my meds already arrived this afternoon, luckily a couple hours before the biggest panic attack of my life. I’m very thankful I used Lemonaid when I did and that the person I spoke with was intuitive enough to know I needed something in addition to my daily meds. Truly a lifesaver!

Cheap, Safe, and Convenient

I decided to try this app about a year ago. I was getting ready to start birth control and I didn’t have any insurance to go to a doctor to get a prescription. We decided to give this app a try. My Fiancé at the time was very concerned about Lemonaid . He thought it was sketchy, online doctors. I tried it anyway and it is the way to go! They only treat certain things, but I have used them for birth control and UTI medication. I wasn’t concerned with their credibility... you pick up your medicine at the pharmacy! The pharmacy doesn’t just give away meds without a legit prescription. I am able to get my Birth Control Pills same-day! I get to research my own pills and then choose which one I wish to be one. I do all of this for less than $30 each time! Several months later when I decided my birth control wasn’t for me due to common side effects, I was able to switch to a different one easily. I choose this app and I will never go back to a doctor for these minor things that this app treats.

Quick to resolve issues

I am updating my review due to the great customer service I experienced with Lemonaid . I was really upset when I saw a charge taken out when I hadn’t continued to use this service, but the developer response was quick, and the customer service representative was empathetic and quick to reverse the charge.
Due to recently getting insurance, Lemonaid is not for me at this moment, but I am so glad something like this exists that makes help for mental issues easy and accessible. I can remember 8 years ago being in a desperate situation trying to get help, and being hit with a 2-4 week waiting period everywhere I went. It’s incredible that through apps like this, help is never more than an hour wait away.
It’s also great that there is an overall cost for people without insurance so they don’t have to choose between food/bills and mental health.
Thanks again to this app for quickly clearing up the issue I had.

Lemonaid is a life saver!!!

I do not have health insurance and found this app a few weeks ago and could not believe what I was reading. On paper it was the best and least expensive option I could find. I thought to myself this can’t be real for the price point so I literally decided that I was willing to lose the fee for the visit if this turned out to be “too good to be true”.

Anyways, Lemonaid said within 2 hours I would hear from a doctor. Inside I was laughing the entire time. Sure enough a doctor contacted me before the 2 hours had expired and I was at the pharmacy picking up a prescription that afternoon. Even after all that I still refused to believe it was true until I was leaving with my prescription. Well I left with my prescription and so I decided to leave these comments about my experience hoping to help someone else out.

this app is 100% real. And I am 100% a real patient and I don’t know anyone that has anything to do with this company. My experience is exactly what you just read. And I wanted to be clear because I know how you feel if you’re in the same situation I was in before I found this app.

Forget all doubts. If your needs are covered by the list of issues this app can address, that issue will be solved with RX coupons that will make your prescription very affordable. Just follow the clear and easy to follow instructions provided. Communication and service are as described and excellent.

Thanks a bunch this app.

Blown away by this app

this app is incredible and truly a game changer. I’m healthy and in my mid-20s, and have been using birth control pills on and off for a few years now. It’s always the same brand with no side effects.

The difficulty level of refilling prescriptions always depended on my ob-gyn, and I’ve had doctors withhold birth control for religious reasons (in nyc!) and now have a doctor who requires two (yes, two) pelvic exams per year in order to receive birth control. My pelvic exam was 7 months ago and they refused to approve a refill. After a particularly frustrating phone exchange where a member of their staff told me to “talk to another doctor” and hung up, I found this app. My prescription was approved and ready for pickup at a local Walgreens within 20 minutes.

this app is a life saver. I’ll still be going to a doctor for annual check-ups, but it’s great to no longer be subjected to greedy, unreasonable and paternalistic doctors’ office practices. I’ll be telling everyone about this app!

Amazing Resource

I’m currently in between health insurance coverage and have been suffering from what seemed to be a sinus infection for almost two weeks. I was hopeless because I really could not afford to spend $100+ at a walk-in clinic so I started to do some research and stumbled upon this app Health. It seemed too good to be true and I was skeptical at first but it was worth a try and I’m so thankful this resource exists. Last night I answered questions about my sinus symptoms and was able to video chat with an informed, friendly NP (Kimberly H) first thing this morning in the comfort of my own bed. She confirmed my suspicion of a sinus infection after going over all my symptoms and their duration and sent a prescription to the pharmacy right next to my apartment, all in a matter of 10 minutes. This was significantly easier than the hassle of going to an urgent care when I’m sick and don’t want to go anywhere and at a fraction of the cost - only $25 per visit. So, so thankful for this service.
