Great app!

Great app - the widget feature makes this quite convenient with few taps necessary to get to the key.

Two feature requests: 1) The ability to add a key to Apple a Wallet. 2)The ability to issue a key to a phone number that has not yet downloaded JustIN , so that when they do download JustIN and register, the key is there waiting for them.

Edit: Salto has addressed request #2. This is great! Now I’m just waiting for the ability to add a key to Apple wallet, and I’ll be over the moon!

Decent

Decent app, considering the limitations from Apple. I do wonder, is it possible to create a digital key in the “wallet” that would work both on the phone and the Apple Watch? This would be similar to how Apple is doing Express Transit or the newly announced digital car key.

This would allow for even quicker access and would not have the issue where when I hold the phone up the the NFC device it opens the wallet anyways. Maybe an integration like Walgreens has where JustIN knows which “card” to scan first for their rewards program.

I really would love Apple Watch support.

The worst electronic lock I’ve ever used

This thing works maybe 50% of the time I don’t know if it’s JustIN or the lock itself but they’re both terrible. I get the appeal. You don’t have to change locks, but that also means you have no way into the apartment if JustIN doesn’t work, which it doesn’t seem to work very often. Me and my roommate and my neighbors. All have constant issues. I’m just now pulling the door completely shot so I can actually be guaranteed to get it. If I could give this the zero stars, I think I would. Anyone considering to put these on your apartment complex don’t, not until they get a whole lot better.

Flawless - would love to see support for an Apple Watch

JustIN has never failed me since I started using it my NYC condo four months ago. The widget also makes it just a swipe and tap away.

If there was one thing I could ask for it would be support for an Apple Watch. As this used Bluetooth, I’d imagine there is no technical limitations.

Fingers crossed.

New apartment key

I just moved to a new apartment and the building has keyless entry using this this app Mobile App. It would be extremely helpful and a huge improvement if JustIN worked on my Apple Watch. I expected it would’ve been a compatible app with my Watch but it appears it’s not. Do you have any plans and updating features for JustIN so it can work on my Apple Watch as well?

Needs lot of work.

First, I have no idea how to set up the widget. The instructions are extremely useless on setting that up. Next is the integration. I like the idea of having JustIN but I have lived in other places where their app is well integrated. Where I can remotely grant access to anyone without being around nor send them a temporary access key. I know this is still far-fetched and JustIN is a work in progress but I will expect more from salto company.

Not to full potential

The application needs an iWatch version! They also need to be able to transfer access for visiting guest, put it on a limited timer to expire guest transfers. Finally, they have 0 technical support, no way to contact the company. Looks like an European group that trying to outsmart the customer who has choices. You get any color as long as it’s black.

Just started using it

Just started using JustIN and it works well enough however it desperately needs Apple Watch support.

Seems like the exact type of thing the Apple Watch excels at while the phone is a bit clunky.

Still prefer this over having to carry physical keys though. Thanks.

Needs a Watch App

Works great but coming from another apartment, I really miss using my Apple Watch to open my door, especially when reaching for my phone is difficult in the moment (like if I’m carrying groceries)

Fifty-fifty

Got this for a resort stay. Worked about half the time, and “near the lock” isn’t enough; had to hold it flat against the door. And had to watch a dumb video of what to do each time. Maybe there’s a small bit of convenience here, but don’t leave the room without the actual key!

Works… most of the time

JustIN works most of the time, however sometimes takes a little while to connect and open the door. Additionally, the lack of widget + lack of action button compatibility are missing features that would be great additions.

By

Extremely poor technical and design choices

Two stars instead of one because JustIN technically works to unlock doors.

Utilizing Bluetooth instead of NFC means slower unlocking and is also much less secure.

JustIN itself does not have a widget that supports iOS 17, and also forcing the user through multiple in-app taps to enable unlocking, including displaying the video each time, is extremely user-hostile.

There are plenty of ways the developer could have made JustIN more useful and intuitive but chose not to.

Apple Watch???

It works on iPhone and is simple. But let’s be clear…you come out with an app with no wearable applications considering it’s not tomorrow tech but today. Step it up otherwise we’ll just stick to using the key fob our landlord gave us.

Annoyed by limited features

This is LESS good than a normal key!

Lack of compatibility with Apple wallet and Apple Watch are frustrating. Even worse, I can’t share temporary access to my apartment like I can for guests with a normal key. What is the benefit of this if I can’t actually use it with guests?

By

Only works about 50% of the time

When it works it works fine. It often doesn’t work though, I’d say 50% of the time. Requires I restart my iphone to get it to work. It’s an iPhone 13 Pro on iOS 15.2 so you’d think it would work fine.

Apple Watch app please

As a paraplegic, it can be very difficult to grab my iPhone while my lap is occupied with groceries or a full garbage bag. It would be so much more convenient to be able to use my watch to open doors. :)

By

Good

Works most of time though sometimes it takes a bit longer or a couple tries. Please add Apple Watch functionality!

By

It’s okay

It’s not a badly made app, but there are a lot of things that should be changed. It’s annoying when you use it and your apple wallet pops up. There needs to be an app for your Apple Watch

Locked me out of my own apartment.

Worked this morning, went out for a second in the afternoon, now I am locked out of my own apartment.

There is NO customer support phone number or chat support for JustIN - if anything glitches you will be on your own.

Horrible

I forgot somthing in my apt building and the door was locked obviously so im trying to use JustIN and it says its expired I 24/7 am getting locked out my home and my app just being denied IM VERY UNHAPPY

By

Trash

App works half the time. The keys sometimes randomly won’t register. There have been 2 times where I have been locked out of my apartment because JustIN dropped my keys. Overall horrible app. 0/5 stars if I could.

By

Barely works most of the time

I have lived at my apt for almost 8 months now and JustIN barely works. Neither do the locks. My fob itself constantly stops working every 6 weeks and JustIN as well. Open path is what my boyfriend uses at his apartment and it’s way better and is 100% reliable. Salto should consider looking into this technology. As a girl I should not be wondering when my key will work or not work. It’s unsafe, frustrating, and a nuisance!

“Couldn’t get key”

I don’t see anyone talking about this but I put all the Information correct and all I get is a little message saying “couldn’t get key” with no further information. What do I do now?

By

Wish it was compatible with Apple Watch

JustIN is amazing especially when you don’t have to use a physical key card but the one thing I wish is if it was compatible with the Apple Watch because it’s so much more easier than putting all your stuff down (if your hands are full) and reaching for your phone when you can just tap with your Apple Watch but JustIN is still very useful and I hope they can add Apple Watch support.

Hope this reaches to the developers

Thank you

Needs Support for Apple Watch

App works as intended. Can be a bit slow sometimes it that comes with the territory. They need to add Apple Watch support. I would love to be able to not have to have my phone when taking out the trash and needing to get back into my place. Please do this.
