Was really excited to try this, it seems like a really great concept. Unfortunately, ShadeScout keeps saying that the camera is disabled! I've disabled and re-enabled the camera multiple times, AND re-downloaded ShadeScout .. Really disappointed

I was hoping to get more out of ShadeScout than I did after seeing it being promoted on Rachael Ray this morning. After I downloaded and opened up ShadeScout , it wouldn't even upload a photo or let me take one to "scout" with!?! I don't get it. Never have I ever been so confused with an app. I will give it one more try tomorrow if it's still not working I'm deleting it. Thank God it was free.

It's a shame because this has such potential. Great idea, but bad execution, not only is it difficult to use, the colors are nowhere near the color in real life, so what's the point? I can't speak for all of the brands, but definitely the MAC shades, which I was most looking forward to just aren't right. Russian Red is not a bright orange shade like in ShadeScout . I saw this featured on Rachael Ray today and immediately downloaded it but I was disappointed quickly. Also it seems like the face recognition isn't very good, or maybe it's only for thin lips, I have to make my lips thin for the color to cover my full lips, and sometimes it puts it on my nose.

Hopefully it improves, I didn't expect too much since it was free, I guess it's fun for a few minutes to play around with but definitely don't go buying any makeup based on what you see in ShadeScout . Little girls will have fun with it though I'm sure!

I downloaded and opened ShadeScout. Immediately the camera opened and asked me to pick a shade from the left. There were brand names under the shades. There was no ability change shades within the brands. You could use a color wheel to pick shades. Anyway you pick from the shades they give you and the camera puts it on you. I only tried the lipstick and then deleted it because it's not useful if I can't pick a shade

There should be an option to navigate through the buttons.

Nothing else that I’ve seen can actually help you find a makeup that matches ANYTHING. I use this all the time.

ShadeScout is so fun!!! I loved using the scout to find random colors that turn into awesome makeup shades. The makeup looked soooo real on my face!!!!

I love ShadeScout. It's helped me find just the right colors. Used recently to buy lipstick. It was great to be able to find a color based on a magazine photo!!!

Love ShadeScout! I constantly use it to scout celeb makeup & find matches. It's addictive! Most fun is to try on a few things at a time for a complete makeover.

My teenage nieces and I are having a fun time playing with ShadeScout /colors. We love ShadeScout and have decided which colors we want to try next at the store : ) 👄👍💅. Can we try nail polishes as well soon?

ShadeScout allows you to play around with color BEFORE the cosmetics counter. Fun to experiment with color and a time saver when looking for something new. Worked very easily for me.

The color search is super fun to play with, you can lose all track of time just snapping photos of things around you and getting results. The virtual try on was really accurate too, really cool to use while my face is moving and not just on a photo.

I cannot tell which lipsticks look good on me just be look at the tube so ShadeScout is incredible for me!

ShadeScout is absolutely AMAZING!!!!! it works very well once you kinda get used to it and get to understand it. I saw it being used on LLOR and it's awesome! I'm definitely telling my friends about this
