WhiteNoiseMarket appears to require you to become a member of Facebook (we know what happens to your private information on Facebook!) or to sign onto Google. Google states that they want you to sign in for the purpose of “sharing information about you”. I love the previews of many of the sounds, but I will not sacrifice my privacy and leave myself open to the information pirates. Therefore, I am deleting WhiteNoiseMarket.

This is one of the most obtrusive apps I’ve ever used. The prices for subscription is exorbitant and the ads are full screen with no visible close button and popups…. Half of the sounds are clearly from people bragging about things they own or trips they’ve taken. Examples: Listen to mah automatic gunfire, my boat in key west on New Year’s Eve at midnight, the sound of my trip to this one hotel in this city at 3am; come on, these sounds aren’t there to help people sleep, and I have to wade through it all for the real white noise sounds, with ads forcing me to close and reopen WhiteNoiseMarket every four sounds. What is this facebook now? What a nightmare. While White Noise is great; this is a pathetic cash grab. I am really disappointed in what this great app has become. Devs should be ashamed.

Couldn’t use because I don’t use either Facebook or Google. I understand it’s supposed to be a “social network” for sounds but I’m not sure why it requires sign in with the big two.

Could there not be another option? One that doesn’t require signing in to anything or at least something operated by the developer instead? I’m guessing the developer doesn’t want to do any moderation in any capacity and login via G/F makes that possible.

This has to be the most frustrating and disappointing app on any device. I’ve had the white noise app for a while and I love it. But the white noise market is the bane of my existence. I recently recorded bonfires and decided I’d like to upload. The only thing that I could find about uploads was in the subscription tab. So I paid the dollar to be able to upload. After paying I was not able to find any way to do so. I looked online multiple times and I have the support page memorized. To bad the page was no help. After trying/clicking everything I could on WhiteNoiseMarket . I gave up. I went back to the support page to see how to get in contact with someone. I was sure it was user error. The only way to contact them is through sending feed back. I clicked the option and was told that I’d needed a verified email. Again it doesn’t tell you were or how to get email sent to verify. I went into my email and found the email verification from months ago. So now I can’t even tell them to burn the dollar I just paid. Now I’m out the dollar and more frustrated then when I first started.
TLDR: paid for a subscription not able to upload sounds or speak to anyone regarding the issue.

I used to be able to upload my own sounds that I recorded with my own device. Now, it’s seems you can only record sounds in WhiteNoiseMarket to upload for usage. That’s a shame because I have sounds captured, I’ll never be able to record again; I can’t go back to the place I captured them first. I’d love if someone from the company can tell me how to do this. All their support seems to be is an FAQ that’s not helpful, at all. I’d love to be able to email them or call for help.

How the heck do you upload the sounds you’ve recorded on your phone? I know previously we were able to upload our own sounds into the market, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out how to do it now. I’ve even paid .99 for the one month just to see if that would open something up on WhiteNoiseMarket . I can see that in the regular White Noise app that you can only record new sounds and can’t upload sound files you may have saved on your phone already. So frustrating and annoying, especially since this is an otherwise good app.

I love white noise. I love the flexibility of importing sounds. However, in practice, marketplace loses my account at least a couple times a year, and the support staff is absolutely no help. I have to re-download most of my sounds when that happens. There is never anyway to tell how many sounds I am going to lose as a result of losing my account. If there is still some need to have two separate programs, fine. I have no clue what that could possibly be however. As it is, market is not a good market place. I sure hope it makes the company a ton of money.

WhiteNoiseMarket is a fine one, BUT has one flaw in how it was designed - you are only given 2 choices: sign in using Facebook(which I don’t use... poor security, plus Facebook sells my personal info to advertisers, or Google (just as bad or worse on personal privacy than FB).

How about logging in using our email, TMZOFT?

The White Noise app has quickly become my most used, especially while working from home, so being able to add some other sounds that keep my mind relaxed and focused has been tremendous! I have three suggestions that I think would really improve the overall user experience: (1) Add a feature to sort by most downloads, or add a ‘Top Charts’ list so it’s easy to find the crowd favorites. The UI is very large and bulky, making it time consuming to scroll past each sound to check the name and download count, before even previewing the actual sound. (2) Building off of the first point, make the listings smaller than what they are, which currently takes up nearly the entire space of your iPhone or iPad. You can never see more than two full sound listings at one time, I find myself ready to get off of the White Noise Market as fast as I can because it’s so unwieldy. (3) This may be a remark better left for the main White Noise app, but sync the added sounds across all devices logged into the same account would be helpful. The workaround is to make sure you ‘favorite’ the sounds you’re downloading on one device so you can easily go to your favorites on another devices and download them there again. Not a huge hurdle, but just a relatively small time saver.

When I come into White, noise market I loved it. I started downloading like the whole thing, but until I realized that you could make your own and I went crazy because I was so excited to upload to get some downloads. but when I downloaded the sound, it said that it was downloaded, but it actually wasn’t and it went in some section called (attempted upload) and I was really mad because when I tried to upload it again, it said that upload sound exist when I actually didn’t, but after that, I uploaded some decent but not as great as the one that went into attempted upload, and I got some downloads, which was kind of fun and I had a great time, but I did not like when the attempted upload thing came up. It was really annoying.

Instantaneous sleeping! This helps me to lucid dream, dream easy when im nervous and get through long trips or just a couple hours. You can put minimum brightness and no internet and plug in your headphones. For me it lasts 2 % every hour. So yeah

Working fine and 5 stars until IOS 12. Now can’t sign in with Google anymore and can’t download more than a few sounds. Not happy as I use this nightly.

I highly recommend WhiteNoiseMarket if you’re having trouble sleeping or are interested in the science of white noise. TMSOFT has a great community of developers and users who contribute their own field recordings from all over the world.

I am enjoying WhiteNoiseMarket so far and its a good app i like when i can put new sounds on white noise lite 🤩🤩🤩 but i dont want to be logged out and me have to redownload some of my sounds i downloaded thats what people is reporting but WhiteNoiseMarket is a five star app to meeeee keep up the good work!😀

Omg! Now I can upload my own sounds I made in the White Noise App to the market??! That's crazy cool. Being able to share sounds from the world with the world is just a really fun concept. This is still my go-to when I'm looking for a new sound to add to the night-time repertoire! Awesome job!

This is the best app I have found. It’s super easy to download new sounds and mix them to make the perfect blend send you straight to La La Land. I’ve recommend it to friends and family, some of whom have also downloaded it and enjoy it as much as I do. Can’t say enough about this awesome, easy, free app!

All apps have their flaws, but the ones with White Noise Market are not too major. Mostly when I first got WhiteNoiseMarket , I didn’t know I have to get the white noise one and then the market. In my opinion, I think it would be better if it was all in one place, but other than that, I like it.

Well, the reason I got WhiteNoiseMarket later in my traveling sleep time is because I do not know there was WhiteNoiseMarket and I knew the white noise of light and what change this one is cause I love all sorts of sounds like ASMR other things my life, the better and I can’t wait to my first night of good sleep tonight again

Super easy to search for a specific name or by tag to find whatever you’re looking for! Plus, browse all you want and download as much as you want, just a short ad after each download if you have no subscription! I’m addicted to browsing for new sounds now lol

My family and I were camping near a family that brought their loud at 5AM new born baby. They didn't know how or try to stop the crying. I learned of WhiteNoiseMarket and found my lovely headphones. It was tootles loud kid the rest of the week.
