Just had an absolutely abysmal experience using this app for our grocery shopping. We did a large order which ended up being 9 boxes delivered. The delivery person left all 9 boxes in the lobby of our building, even though I was home in my apartment ready to receive the shipment, so I had to lug 9 boxes upstairs to bring them in. To make matters worse, I received NO notification that the boxes, which contained perishable items, were even there!! I got a text from my neighbor saying that I had 9 boxes waiting for me in the lobby. Lastly, they packed a loaf of bread next to a large container of juice so of course that got mashed. Meanwhile, a small cardboard box of Splenda got at least 3 layers of packaging protection. Where’s the logic in that??

When I complained to customer service, they only gave me a partial refund instead of a full refund. WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EVER!!!! Save your money people, use another service instead of this trash.

The last three orders I received had at least one product damaged. Not sure if it was in transit or at the packing facility. Overall I am pleased with everything except the damaged items. Thank you!

UPDATE: Customer service is fantastic no complaints there.
I have downgraded my original 4 stars to 1 stars. I ordered from this app, my order was to arrive on Saturday August 25th. It did not show up. I left a review for the shipping experience. I was immediately contacted about either getting a full refund or having the items ordered replaced. I requested they be replaced. My first order that did not show up, showed up on Tuesday. The box was banged up really bad and half of the items were damaged. The replacement order showed up Wednesday and they were not damaged or banged up. I don’t understand why the first box was enormous for what I ordered, it was not a lot. That box got thrown around and the poor packing is to blame as well for the items being damaged. Fed Ex delivered the first order late and clearly did not handle that box with care. UPS delivered the replacement order and the box was fine, not banged up. Because this is the third time I have received damaged items I am no longer shopping with this app. I don’t know how many packing facilities there are for this app, but I do know someone is dropping the ball and not doing a very good job of packing the items people order.

this app has a horrible refund policy (especially horrible because the return is their fault). They claim a 10 to 14 refund policy - I should receive interest! Their clothing product organization is pretty much the dumbest way to categorize clothing. Instead of sorting by one single product and then choosing your size, one search will reveal multiple entries of the same product and if the size is not even listed (as is the case with the product I ordered) you just hope and pray it is the right size by using a process of elimination. I was hoping and have been using this app as a replacement for Amazon’s subscribe and save, but I guess I will need to move on. It all makes sense now why this app offers a discount if you state you do not want free returns, cause they want to sell you trash and have you stuck with it.

Great app. User experience is fluid, clear and at your fingertips (also who doesn't like to see their savings pile up in real time?). Makes shopping actually fun and exciting. Why 2 stars? Because once you pile up items and submit your payment in good faith, you will receive a host of emails cancelling your purchased items one after the other. Why? Because their participating merchants don’t need to report inventory levels or being out of items so they sell out-of-stock items. Sometimes merchants just regret their own low price and cancel. This happened to me 6 times in 5 minutes baths, spending as little as $17 and as much as $1284. This ruined holiday gift for family. Moreover, when most of the parts for a closet project were cancelled I decided to chuck the project. Told them to cancel the rest. THEY REFUSED. “this app can’t cancel orders” (even though they are the merchant of charge on the card). Unacceptable. Can’t shop
Not knowing if items will actually be processed. Fool me once, shame on you, twice, three, four, five, six times -shame on me.

Ordered 2 different items, received 2 of the same. Contacted this app and was handled professionally. Steven offered $10 credit and set up for free return. No issues with this app customer service. If they end up moving the call center overseas, it will be the end for them. A 1 star update would be in order.

Walmart has really taken its toll on this app. Bad products will now HAUNT this company. And although the customer service side is still very professional, cheap products will leave a graveyard of loyalty. When you push your vendors to lower prices to the point where they have to use cheaper materials and move production/assembly overseas, you really lose my respect. I firmly believe that this app has made a huge mistake by allowing the acquisition(even if the company were about to go under).

Please fight for the quality of your products. You may not be able to keep everything stateside. After all, who could expect that in the current market(that Walmart has created)? But do your best to keep as much here as possible. Stop allowing your vendors to be bullied.

It's been awhile since I've browsed using the mobile app, but I noticed the new look and categories menu. I like the tiles that show different examples of items in that category, but the layout is too confusing. The titles are a bit small and blend in with the tile boarders. Each tile is the same color, so they don't really stand out from one another right away.

I also don't like that there's no filter options on the categories, but if I go to Search, they're still there. The breakdown of categories sub-items is not enough, I went to look for "Paper Plates" under "Household Products > Paper and Plastic Products", but there's no sub-category to filter just the plates. For now I'm using the search filtering.

I find Jet is easy to use and has a clean interface.

Product pricing is reasonably competitive, with better discounts for multiple items (bulk).

Product variety and availability is limited, but seems to be improving gradually over time.

Update (04APR2019): Jet still has a notably clean and pleasant user interface. But, realtime order inventory counts, at check out, too often do not match what Jet shows when adding to the cart, with some orders getting delayed by days because of available inventory counting mistakes. With a few impressive exceptions, bulk product pricing, for things I need, is usually not quite a good as competitors’ bulk pricing. I’m consistently finding that the products are just not there when searching Jet for many needed items. It really feels like Jet ’s end-users’ personal experiences (beyond visual perception) are not getting enough priority focus in Jet 's design plan. I’m not giving up yet, because the clean and pleasant user interface shows a capability and dedication to something with an intriguing unique potential.

Convenient & easy to use app that just gets better & better. I use it for both home & office ordering. The addition of the items ordered list & faves is very handy. Customer Service was great when I did have questions.

I found I do need to double check pricing at times & there have been issues with items getting crushed. Although I do expect a certain amount considering the way I've seen shippers handle packages (not this app's fault). I had started ordering heavy/liquid items & groceries separately to prevent issues as much as possible but, I've also been very pleased with how much this app has improved their packaging over the past year too. Particularly with my last pantry items order, I noticed a great improvement in overall packing method & materials with very little damage to the contents.

I tried to place an order from my phone on the website, to no avail, since I do not use PayPal or ApplePay. There were no other payment options showing. So I called for phone support, using the icons at the bottom of the screen. The this app rep was very pleasant, extremely patient and helpful. At first, leading me thru my phone screens, which didn’t bring a different outcome. Then, trying to use my computer, which wouldn’t boot on, because it was updating. And then, helped me install the this app App. The this app App is much more user friendly. Then because the transaction took so long, he even gave me a credit for next time I order. Well done!!! 👍 That’ll certainly make me come back sooner. 💕

As a longtime Prime shopper, my first foray into this app years ago was subpar—not now!! Search and filter tools are outstanding and the readymade categories for sorting are intuitive and plentiful. The selection of items has grown exponentially and I could find low cost junk as well as designer clothing: bought baby shoes, wool hunting socks, women’s coat, soaps, tools. Nice feature: no membership fee with a low threshold to receive free shipping. But I’m the type who almost always waits to shop until I need several items. One caveat: country of origin not always identified on products; I don’t buy when sites don’t label that for an item and it’s hit or miss on this app

I love to shop thru this app. Sometimes the prices of some items are more than locally so I just wait on them for when I can get out. If I really need it I will buy it because some of the prices do go down with the number of items you buy etc. All in all I find almost anything I need here. I use other apps to shop thru to save even more. I’m not really healthy and suffer from severe chronic pain daily so getting out is difficult. Shopping for large amounts of items is also hard on me physically so shopping online really cuts that chore in half! Anytime there’s ever been s problem this app takes care of it immediately. One of the best online shopping experiences ever. Thank you this app!

How do I love this app? Let me count the ways.

1. Convenience. Shopping right from home...from my comfy chair or on the go....in my PJs or when I am dressed to party...wherever i am, this app is there. No trips to the store. Ni waiting in line.

2. Savings. The prices are great. I have compared them with big box, warehouse stores and my grocer....this app beats the others prices almost every time.

3. Quality. Fruits and veggies are sent in perfect ripe stage. Juicy and flavorful, too.

4. Packaging. Everything is packaged with care. No bruises or bumps to my produce. No smashed packaging. Ice cream is still frozen solid when it arrives.

5. Customer service. this app is very responsive. Only one time, got some guava a little underripe...they refunded me immediately even though I didn’t even ask for a refund.

6. Ease of use. Jet is so easy to use. Just scroll through and click to add to cart. Review my purchase and click again and my order is on it’s way.

Thanks this app...you made my shopping world a whole lot better.

I pretty much love everything about Jet as long as you know your prices in the stores sometimes this app can save you money, sometimes it’s ridiculously priced. I also love that you can save even more money in the end of your check out if you choose to let the shipping take a little longer it’s a win-win I no longer buy laundry detergent at Walmart. It’s not hard to spend $35 to get the free shipping!!!! It’s like Walmart online shopping, but way better!!!! Convenient 2 day shipping sometimes next day shipping!!! if u rather not have $3 taken off ur order. I love to save money n never in a hurry so usually op to save $$$$

I’ve been shopping using the this app App for 2 years now. It’s so easy to order, reorder, shop, and the free and fast shipping is amazing. I love not going to the store for everything. this app takes the “Heavy Lifting” out of shopping. I save so much time and energy with running to the store, shopping, loading, unloading the cart, to the car, unload the car, and finally put away. Now, I’m watching tv, relaxing and shopping... it comes to my door in a purple box. EASY! I have never had anything damaged or leaking. I returned one item that I didn’t need and it was an easy process. Thank you this app for making my life easier!

It took me a while to warm up to the idea of buying from Walmart, but after Amazon’s recent destruction of my local Wholefoods, I have to say I am loving this app more and more. Some of the best things about The this app App is how easy it is to use. (I literally ordered refills on everything for our sitter while on vacation this year; 3,000 miles from Home)! Also, they *usually* have what you are looking for, including a lot of the brands you would find at Wholefoods. But my favorite thing is that as your order gets bigger, the over all total drops. I seriously cannot believe I hadn’t used this app sooner.
