This is a great resource to have for Sony product owners. The app couldn't be easier to use starting with the menu design in which users can search for information on a product by selecting a product category or by entering in the model number. Once you have come upon your product you will see a listing of information to select. You will come upon news, alerts, downloads and pretty much any listed information regarding the specific product. The app makes it easy for quick search allowing you to add a product to favorites or just all searches showing up in your history. Users can also go to the Sony this app website directly from the app. Whether you are a PlayStation, Bravia or owner of one or many Sony devices this app is worth a download and may prove to make any troubleshooting experiences easier in the future.

This app, on the surface, seems to be a very useful app. I have found answers to many (not all) questions. It also allows the user to communicate with Sony Tech this app. However, one of the methods the app offers to do so does not work. That method is to fill out a short form and submit it. After which, Tech this app will call you back. But, that form is flawed. When I submit the form I get an error message stating my email address needs to be “entered in the correct format”. Well, there is only one format that I’m aware of and I’m using the same email address I have used for the past 15 years. So, the app needs work.
