I had loved Bryant . I used it daily, sometimes multiple times a day. Since the iOS update this week, it won’t even load. It starts to load then crashes every single time.

A WiFi enabled thermostat is useless for that feature when it doesn’t work.

I really hope they update Bryant to fix this glitch.

Not sure why Bryant stopped working on my iPhone 13 ProMax with updated iOS software but it doesn’t. The developers don’t seem to give a flying fig that it’s not working. I have removed and added Bryant , turned my phone on/off and nothing. It still doesn’t work - bummer.

Thankfully the thermostat works fine but I liked the idea of adjusting the temp in my home even when I wasn’t home. Bryant doesn’t work anymore.

I’ve been using this for 3 years. Bryant is PAINFULLY slow - the startup, just changing the temp, it takes 20 seconds for the request to execute. It’s not the backend, if I access via web on my PC, the responsiveness is way better (still could improve). The landscape-only mode is a bad UX. I think for $10K, a college kid could fix your problems this app/Eco bee. Please invest a tiny bit of money to get Bryant to just half-decent.

Bryant should be easy to use; it should just duplicate the thermostat, right? Unfortunately it doesn’t update with the thermostat readily, and it sometimes just won’t communicate, saying I need to log in…….repeatedly. Bryant tells me to restart it - endlessly. Trying to troubleshoot at the website is useless, there’s no way to contact this app online to let them know a problem exists. Sloppy service in my opinion.

We are retired and we have to constantly reset the thermostat because for some reason Bryant keeps setting up schedules. We never have set up a schedule because we are always home. I’ve tried to go in and cancel each day’s schedule but it won’t let me completely delete each day, it always leaves at least one schedule that cannot be deleted. Bryant and thermostat are terrible.

If I could give this most recent version of Bryant negative stars, I would. It just doesn’t work anymore. At all. It stopped working with the most recent iPhone update. Then Bryant was updated and it sort of worked for about a month, and now it just doesn’t work at all. Good thing we’re moving soon and someone else will have to deal with it. I’ll be sure to absolutely not put a this app thermostat in my new house if at all possible.

We have been using Bryant for years and suddenly stopped working several months ago. We thought it was because the new iOS update and would eventually update but months later and it hasn’t. Don’t bother with Bryant. We have deleted and downloaded numerous times and it will not work. Very frustrating to own a product that cannot update for its customers!

Just got new AC and thermostat. Have iPhone 6+. Landscape format is very unfriendly and can’t be changed. Setting changes don’t always change after you press Save. Though thermostat is connected to WiFi - Bryant will say it’s not. Trying to copy a day to other days makes Bryant spin and it never happens whereas it takes 2 seconds on the thermostat itself. I am not impressed.
The thermostat itself is nice and easy to navigate and the ability to have more than the standard wake away home sleep is nice when you work from home.

After several attempts to contact this app customer service I was told that Bryant is not working if you upgraded to iOS 18. The customer service representative told me that they are well aware of the problem and are “working on it”. That was over a week ago and so far it is still not working! Apparently not a top priority for them.

Bryant used to work just fine up until a few weeks ago when I updated my phone’s software. Now it just constantly force closes itself whenever I try to open it. I have tried deleting Bryant ., restarting my phone, etc. nothing works. Please update Bryant so that it’s compatible with new iOS software updates.

Bryant has been useful to change the temps both while lounging in the recliner and while out of the house on vacation. It's a bit slow (I have an XS) and the pauses between settings are annoying but it was useful. The problem is after upgrading from 12 to 13.1 Bryant just closes after trying to open it. Anyone else experiencing this?

Same exact issue as written above. App stopped working on or around 12/10, it may have been after the most recent OS update. I have deleted and reinstalled Bryant several times, turned my phone on and off, nothing works. Bryant just disappears after trying to use it. It worked great until it just stopped working. Seems I am not alone. Maybe an update is in order. Lost the convenience of remote control. 👎

Bryant is mediocre. I have an iPhone 7 and it does work. They layout is in landscape mode only and there is no way to change it. It is displayed just as the thermostat is on the wall with less features than the actual thermostat. It is much slower than the actual thermostat as well. But in the end it is nice and convenient to be able to change the settings from the comfort of my bed and not have to get up. Bryant will get the job done but do not expect more.

The new version, so far, is great. I understand more features are coming which are needed and welcome. One quick bug that needs fixing, the “fan on” status stays on in Bryant even when the thermostat is actually set to automatic. Thanks for updating Bryant!

I didn't realize how much I use Bryant until Apple did this last update ,and I was without it for a few days until this app got the launch issue fix. It’s back to working good again. Are there things that could improve it, yes. It does ,however, do everything it really needs to. I have yet to find any app that doesn't need improvement.

Love how easy it has been to monitor and set both floors of our house, especially when we’re out of town. I have to confess, Bryant is so easy to use that I don’t bother walking upstairs. I’ve learned to trust Bryant and hope we get a new version for iOS 13.1 soon!

Thank you! Basic functions from Dec 2024 still working + Jan 2025 bug fixes working too! Thank you so much for listening - my frustration has turned to optimism that Bryant will be great again.

Bryant has had a rough go. After the old app broke completely with the release of iOS 18 last year, this new app, barebones as it is, at least works now and that’s what matters. If you are still having problems with it working on iOS, try deleting Bryant and redownloading it, authenticate (if you have problems with that, like I did, start with authenticating using the website firstly just to ensure you have credentials that really do work—it’s not you, it’s them, if you are experiencing authentication issues), and login to Bryant . At least you know that at least some people can use Bryant with the latest iOS (on an iPhone 13 Pro).

I get it - some people hate landscape mode. But I love that the iPhone screen is identical to the one on the wall. It was so easy I taught my SO how to use both. Now when she’s in bed she can bump up the temp 2-3 degrees if she feels like it. Trivial but I wish I could load a screen saver photo from my iPhone so I could change it every couple days to gain attention.
