    Great App

    There’s a bug in the app where if you attempt to upload an event photo when checking out, and then delete the photo, it will still upload to a users events photo album. Please fix this issue.

    Hate the new logo

    The new logo is horrible. You could at the very least give it a color. Being black and white with just some abstract thing on it gives the user no indication of what the app even is. Going back to the blue and white would be somewhat helpful, but overall you should rethink this altogether. The app itself has always sucked, btw. I hate when agencies use this app for their booking.

    Worst App Ever Created

    I downloaded the app and it has said there are no events in my area which is untrue because I kept the app on my phone for an additional year and there were still 0 events in my area despite me filling out all required information.

    Don’t receive notificactions

    This app used to notify the user when new events were open to mark your availability, when you had a scheduling request, or when you had tasks to complete. It does not do this anymore. Please fix!

    Can’t even sign up

    I’ve tried signing multiple times and have tried using multiple different emails and it still doesn’t let me sign up. There is a bug within the app that needs to be fixed.

    Terrible app

    It should be illegal to deny someone gainful employment if they don't use this app! The app doesn't work so now I can't book a job through an agency I have been working with since 2010!! The app keeps crashing every time I click on the photo button so I have deleted and re-downloaded this over a dozen times since they launched it. I was originally approved but somewhere along the way that disappeared as did a bunch of documents I uploaded and the some of the brands that I listed I worked for keep changing on its own even after I saved it! I used to see gigs in my area when the app first launched but it's been over a year and I haven't been reproved or seen any gigs. Tech support was no help they said there must not be any gigs in my area but I live in downtown Los Angeles so that can't be true at all. This app is just terrible and there should be a web version so that I can continue working for the same agency I have been with for over 7yrs! Update: This app just keeps getting worse with every update! I’m seeing that I have been booked but can not access the info pertaining to the events. This app just freezes after logging in then crashes completely! I have requested that the agencies send an email confirmation but none have done so. I could be a no call no show because I have no idea who booked me or where and when I need to be somewhere! This is absolutely ridiculous!! I am furious that I can’t access any info through this app and there is no alternative scheduling system provided! Update: I allow this app to continue to take up Realestate on my phone as I had a good run getting booked and had to use it to check in/out of gigs. Unfortunately there continues to be one problem after another and tech support rarely reply’s to emails. I’ve come to realize now that I’m living in a fantasy thinking it will someday improve. I’ve had an event coordinator call me about a job I’ve declined as it showed differently their end. I’ve also received multiple emails and text from an agency that uses this app trying to recruit me for a campaign that I removed myself from on the app. Today when I changed my status from unavailable to available the job disappeared from the app no where to be found. This explains why I haven’t been booked for a year through this app.

    Needs Improvement

    BookedOut is the prime example of an application that was not ready to be rolled out and also designed by individuals who are not necessarily aware of how their well meant ideas actually play out in real life scenarios. This application consistently crashes or just plain does not work. Support which should really be called “Support” because when these issues are brought to their attention they advise you to delete and re-download the application does not actually seem capable of delivering the technical assistance needed to make this application run as it is intended [or run at all for that matter]. I would like to see the following improvements by the time Version 20.2 rolls out. -Notifications Fixed: currently I always have a red notification on the application icon even when there is nothing new to respond to -Streamline Events: the interface in which the campaign and events are presented is not easy to read and the current sorting menu is more of a headache than a help. Perhaps tabs where users could pick the view of events they want to see [Example: Submitted, Accepted, Not Available] would be easier. -Photo Uploads: Absolutely ridiculous and archaic that an application in this day and age can only handle one photo upload at a time. -Photo Visibility: All parties who worked an event should have access to the photos from that event. This would prevent duplicate photos from being uploaded. This also allows the event lead/manager to remove poor quality photos uploaded by other members when necessary.

    Is this even serious????

    Let me get this straight. You have to allow this app permission to know your location at all times, even when it is not running for it to allow signing in? And you want to completely remove the website and replace it with this app??? What a joke. Good luck getting me to work any more events. This business certainly won't be around long if this is how they continue to run things. I have enough to do on my phone; I'd prefer conducting business related activities on the computer. You're the only promotion company taking away that option. No wonder most people hired are young inexperienced college kids. The last promotion I worked through booked out was just SAD. Impressions were minuscule and those hired couldn't have cared less... Newsflash- this doesn't help the brand paying you to promote them! I don't know why any company would hire like this or allow promotions to be run in this manner. And now this app; booked out will just be a laughing stock if/when the website is done away with. That's all that made booked out relatively different from the millions of other promo companies exactly like this. Good luck

    Worst agency ever

    I've been in the experiential field for 10 years, predominantly in management rolls. I was a customer service manager for a couple years prior and I was a general manager or a 24 hour gym. I was brought on-board to manage a program and the marketing company was using BookedOut for staffing purposes. Long story short, Booked out was absolutely terrible. They weren't doing their job and staffing events and expected the on-site manager to staff. When I brought up the fact that I never agreed to that aspect, they threatened my job. They didn't pay on-time and when I finally did get paid, my checks were short. After several months of back and forth I had to reach out to Booked Out's client who put pressure on Booked Out to pay me. The client ended up pulling the program from Booked Out and using a different agency. Not worth the time or headache. I will ever work for them again nor will I utilize them for any staffing purposes on any future events.

    A very smart way to earn a second income

    Booked out is a very smart and innovative app designed for those looking to explore and gain more customer service experience. Even though I'm completely new to the app I absolutely love the options and flexibility of finding a second income. I work weekdays Monday - Friday from 8-4 so I don't have too much time on my hands to find a second job, but with this app I can search for jobs on the weekend and make some extra money without conflicting with my primary schedule. I highly recommend this app for anyone who needs to earn extra income on weekends, and have other obligations.

    WOW! I booked gigs and i loved it.

    I love the flexibility of managing my own schedule. It’s long overdue to have an app that helps me get event gigs in new york. in the past i spent more time trying to track down all the staffing companies, and i never knew when or if i would get booked. i like being able to do a good job and get rated. and i love being able to rate the companies i book events with. I’m sure i’m better at managing my interests than a staffing company. thank you booked out.

    Sleek but not useful

    The two major issues with this app are that I don't think many businesses use it, since it took weeks for an event to populate in my area, and the app wouldn't sign into my Facebook and stay signed in meaning I didn't get push notifications about the event. I applied, didn't see anything the times I signed in to check, and the next time I looked at the posting it was canceled. The app also asks for a lot of video footage (at least one is required) so if you're he kind of person who films yourself during work and have a lot of gig/professional pictures in an area where businesses use this app, it's useful. Otherwise it's a disappointment.

    Why can’t I sign up with a Facebook picture

    I was surprised to find out that I could use Facebook to create an account but when it asked for a picture I had no option to select one from the many good shots I have on Facebook. Instead, in order to complete registration I had to snap a selfie. I didn’t want to redo everything I had done, so I just did it where I was, but it’s a far from ideal picture. seems like it would be an easy thing to integrate. Some of the permissions scare me a bit too, but we’ll see how things go first.

    Not impressed

    I've had the app for less than 24 hours and I can say, I'm not impressed. The app crashes every 5 seconds. I checked all the requirements; I do have an iPhone 4, and yes I know it's old but it runs iOS 7.1.2 so I know it's not my operating system. When I try to view my photos, the app crashes. When I try to view my applications, the app crashes. I downloaded the app thinking it wld be so easy, but alas, I'll be continuing to go to the full website until the app is updated.

    Despite the other reviews....

    This app really is a way to get your foot in the brand ambassador industry! You have the potential to make tons of money with the different tours and also meet connections and life long friends. Yeah it takes a few weeks (3 weeks with direct deposit) to pay.. The professional side of it is worth it.
