Buyer beware!! As soon as I download and joined an app called “ChurchCenter” and joined my church, which is a really good app by the way, RightNowMedia called “ right now media “started spamming my email sending me emails sayin that because of my church affiliation I have all these free Christian videos and free membership of this supposed Christian materials to help me grow.

Come to find out it’s just a email scammer that scraped my email from a third-party and sent me junk that is not associated with my church in any way shape or form and they made me go through a lot of installation hoops and giving away personal information thinking I was going to actually be a part of this great teaching tool, all proven to be fake and is no way to actually login as an actual number of my church unless I bought something! They made me feel and believe that because I was a member of my church that I could get benefits from RightNowMedia which turned out to be a lie and a scam. Deleting this crap right away!

We got RightNowMedia specifically to lead a group bible study that requires watching the videos in order to have the group discussions, but RightNowMedia has failed 4/4 times so far. It will stop playing the videos at a random point and refuse to continue playing (even if you wait a while for it to possibly buffer.) I have an iPhone XS and a 2020 TV - neither of which give trouble playing other content - so the IT errors shouldn’t be occurring. Unfortunately, it’s too big of a distraction when trying to lead a group & the negative IT reviews from 2016 seem to still apply, so I likely won’t give their content another chance. Huge bummer!

We’ve had RightNow for a couple years now. Our family absolutely loves the content-individual bible studies for every age group, or group studies that can be used for family devotions, homeschooling resources, and preschool songs and bible stories, etc. Our account works great on our internet TV. However, when I downloaded RightNowMedia to my iPad so I could do personal devotions, it suddenly locked me out. I’ve reset passwords, etc, but it only locks me out of our account on RightNowMedia , never through the internet site? Not sure what is going on, but for months customer service hasn’t really been much help. I’d love to update my rating as soon as they update their app. Great content—I’m just disappointed I can’t access it.

(April 2018 - v 2.2.49 - used mostly on an iPad Pro, OS is up to date, plenty of free space) Sorry to be harsh but the instability of RightNowMedia has gotten ridiculous. It randomly crashes when searching, accessing queue, a screen rotation change, or just randomly mid-stream. If it crashes, finding your place again is incredibly irritating since there's no bookmarking upon crashing.

Seriously, this content is impressive but the platform is downright painful. I was tempted to give more stars for the sake of the content but I just can't. It's bad and someone needs to understand it's bad. Looking forward to seeing it fixed.

RightNowMedia started off working great but for the past month it won't let me get past the first page ("sign into RightNow" or something like that). When I click on it, it will try to go to the page to let me sign in but won't completely open and then about half a second later it'll switch back to the first page. If I just use the website instead of RightNowMedia everything is fine. I tried updating to the newest version of RightNowMedia , no improvement. I tried deleting RightNowMedia and reinstalling it, no improvement. My other apps work fine and I've got plenty of space so I'm not sure what's going on to cause this problem.

Everything had been working wonderfully until this past week, after we upgraded to the latest version 2.5.1 when my husband and I tried chrome casting one of the video studies we had been working on...I tried to cast, it connected, tried to load and then crashed...happened every time I tried. Then i asked my husband to do the same on his app, which he was still operating on the previous version...it worked. However, his app then updated to the newest version, and ever since that point it no longer works on his ipad. It crashes just like mine did. I’m a bit bummed because this was a wonderful app and I would have for sure given it a 5 star rating...was wondering if the developer has any solutions for our problem?

I have been using RightNow for several years and love the content. I use Chromecast both at church and at home and never had a problem until the last few months. My setup at home works fine with every other app such as Netflix, Prime Video, etc. when I try to play a video from RightNow, it connects but then disconnects. I am using an IPad or IPhone 10r with version 12 and 13 software. I have an older IPad with version 9 and it will play videos but there is a lot of buffering during playback. Please fix your compatibility with Chromecast. Thank you.

Super frustrating to watch videos and not have it start over or skip to the next in the series each time it’s paused or a quick switch to another app.

I’d love to be able to watch and take notes or interact with others during a Bible study, and not have to have it start over and then try to remember where it was and not have to watch the whole video again from the beginning.

It’s been doing this for as long as I’ve had RightNowMedia and it’s frustrating.

RightNowMedia has amazing content that my kids enjoy, our small group utilizes and just all around helps me with my personal walk. It’s disheartening when every time we go to watch a video it either never loads or crashes somewhere in the midst of watching it. Many times the crash will happen when doing something simple such as rotating the screen or searching for a video to watch. I would love to give this more stars but until these are fixed I can’t do it.

This could be such a great app. I’ve known of RIghtNow media for several years now and love what they do. I especially love some of the kids materials they have. However, i can’t remember the last time I tried playing something for the kids and RightNowMedia didn’t pause every 30 seconds to a minute using airplay. This has been the case with RightNowMedia for so long. When I begin playing a video, if I go to another app it will immediately pause. If I use airplay so the kids can watch on the TV and my phones screen turns off, it will pause or stop completely. Whenever it pauses it’s almost impossible to simply press play and have it play again. Most of the time I need to restart RightNowMedia or choose another video and then get back into the video I was originally watching. Looks like I’m not the only one having these issues.

RightNowMedia has some of the best if not the best content I’ve been exposed to. But it being restricted to only certain church community subscriptions seems hypocritical of the content itself. I would love to see it accessible to anyone who wants to hear and learn about Gods word. Not just for the ones in select church communities. As a home group/bible study leader, this serves as a great tool. But I don’t believe someone needs to switch churches or talk their church into “purchasing” Gods teachings to be granted access to God’s word taught by wonderful teachers. I highly applaud the effort in putting this together, but I pray it becomes more open to the individual user.

I’ve not been a RightNow Media subscriber very long so when I started experiencing app issues I thought it could be my internet connection; but other apps worked just fine. I decided to read some reviews and found others where experiencing the same problems I was having... freezing up when trying to scroll through media, videos playing the sound but the picture freezing up, casting to chrome cast and then all of a sudden it stops and then not able to cast, etc. It’s been very frustrating.

I love love love all the content! But I want to be able to use it! It concerns me that if nothing changes will it be reliable enough to use when we do a group study in our small groups at church?

Our church is also getting ready to launch this for our families. I would really like all these bugs worked out before we do.

Again, I love all the content and thank you for making it available. Just need to be able to get to it!😊

I have RightNowMedia on three different platforms/devices. On my Roku it works ok, but is a bit laggy and hard to manuver, but I manage ok. My frustration is coming from the Apple products, my phone and iPad. For some reason it keeps crashing when I try to open something. It's not everything, just what I happen to want to watch or do research on. Now after the latest update it signed me out of RightNowMedia . I tried to sign back in and it refuses to let me put my email info in, it only lets me put the password. I'm not sure how to fix it or why this happening, but now I can't even get into RightNowMedia . If anyone knows how to get this fixed, I'd love some help. Apart from that, I love the studies and such, but it's no good if I can't get in.

I love RightNowMedia but ever since the update to connect with other devices it has stopped working for me. At first it used to connect through Chromcast but after some time it now doesn’t connect at all. The “RightNow Media” screen will pop up on my TV but when I select a video to cast to my TV, it only plays on my phone and disconnects from my TV. It’s been doing this now for some weeks. Pleaseeeee fix this! I love using RightNowMedia but it’s frustrating when it keeps crashing on us.

My app stays up to date, yet when I cast RightNowMedia shows the program on tv and immediately skips to the last three seconds... then turns off AND disconnects from casting. Air play doesn’t work either. It plays whatever has been selected for approximately 90 seconds then ends on a freeze frame like its cycling. Giving it five minutes to “refresh” doesn’t change anything. Restarting RightNowMedia or my phone... doesn’t change anything. I LOVE RIGHT NOW MEDIA! So disappointing RightNowMedia glitches so badly now.

The content is fantastic! So many choices and great new videos released regularly.
Problem:
When you pause a video, it starts the video all over most times. Not every time, but most. It does not show videos, consistently, that you've watched recently so you can go back and keep watching the series. You have to remember the last one you saw and look them up.

Just wanted to let people who are having trouble with RightNowMedia stopping while watching it on apple tv. I had an issue with another app that was stopping after 15mins. It was the sleeptimer! For some reason it only affected a couple of my apps, not all of them. How I fixed it: settings > general > scroll down to sleep and set to never. Fixed this one and a couple of others. Hope it helps.

Chromecast was fixed and combined with AirPlay option making it user friendly and meeting my needs.

When I first started using RightNow, I was able to cast to any Chromecast devices in my home including my main TV which has it built in. There have been two updates since I reported the issue with an update which resulted in Cast not working at all. The Cast button is displayed by cannot see any devices. Although I can use my AppleTV, it makes more it complex to share other things I use for display. I know it is an easy fix but am bewildered at how you can implement two updates without a fix - bewildered at not catching the error before it happened. As others have stated, I’ve had some crashes with AppleTV as well - problems only occur with RightNowMedia.

Great shows always stuck in one keep adding more videos I love the one Chi-Ro best show ever except it always freezes and two of the episodes are missing here are the ones so you can add them back- 1. The Fish And Bread (also known as Jesus Feeds The Five thousand) 2. Creation. And that’s all of the episodes and when I say creation I mean the 2nd episode not the one of the creation poem and anyway I really miss those two so please add them back to Chi-Ro thanks and bye 👋🏻

I love RightNowMedia. It’s really improved. Well, I haven’t used RightNowMedia in a while, but, I remember when I was watching something this dog show and me and my mom were sooo frustrated. It froze. Totally. Frozen. On certain shows, episodes, it freezes and we leave. I stopped watching when we found Ryan Defrates. It’s a great show. Your children would love it. It’s funny. But I would agree with loving this show. You’d agree as well. So get RightNowMedia. Please. Thanks for taking your time to read this. 😉☺️❤️♥️🐶

RightNowMedia has been working great for months on my iPad mini, then suddenly within the past 4 or 5 days, it will crash after about 3 minutes of video play. It makes no sense as there have been no updates, no other app installations on the iPad... I’m in the middle of two very important, life-changing studies actually and I can’t anywhere and I’m honestly heartbroken.
Before this, I wish I would have already rated RightNowMedia the 5 stars it so deserves - it has been a monumental blessing in my spiritual life and I am so grateful! It has surprisingly virtually replaced TV & other media for me by illuminating an unknown desire I have to spiritually and biblically grow in the Christian faith.
With all that being said - i must beg you developers to PLEASE tell me what is happening and how do I fix it?
I’ve logged out and back in, rebooted, uninstalled RightNowMedia and reinstalled, but to no avail...
What is the key? What am I missing? Are there other apps on my iPad mini I need to uninstall that will bring back The RightNow media apps stability? Vimeo perhaps? Anything?
If you help me fix this, 5 star stellar rating promised and this one deleted immediately!

We love RNM! We’ve noticed issues since the latest update. We will be watching a show and the picture will freeze while the audio continues. It took us 60 min to get through a 30 min McGee and Me episode. We had to summarize the last 5 mins of the show for our kids because we couldn’t get it to work. Good thing that I saw the episode so many times in the 90s...ha! Looking forward to some bug fixes. 👍🏼
