As a seminary teacher, SeminaryandInstitute is worthless because it never works. I’ve tried un-installing and re-installing many many times, so today I finally need to write a review. It worked most of the time last fall, but has been stuck on the readings page with no data for this whole semester... Show more . PLEASE hire some competent developers and get this back out into the hands of the seminary and institute teachers who need it EVERY DAY. You must clean the inner vessel!

Can’t make a new password without being asked to add more characters to it 50 times, and when I finally do manage to make a new password, it tells me that’s it’s incorrect and I can’t use SeminaryandInstitute . I’ve tried recovering my account through email, (which by the way, it won’t even send yo... Show more u a verification email). So then I moved to phone, which it won’t even send a text to my phone so I had to use my parents’ instead. It still tells me my password is incorrect when I reset it. Finally, I used the church record information and nothing works. It tells me that my newly made password is incorrect. SeminaryandInstitute is very poorly made and impossible to login to.

SeminaryandInstitute suggests to provide an interactive portal for parents to their seminary students, but I see this as merely a tool to verify my sons are going to class and reading. I can ask them for that info!
Why not present a tool that allows me to learn with my kids. It could be as simp... Show more le as the teacher checking a curriculum box indicating the subject being studied. Otherwise, SeminaryandInstitute is a simple waste of time. I trust my kids to go to class, but deeper learning comes in discussion and SeminaryandInstitute could serve as a promoter of doctrinal touch-point discussions at home.

Oh wait, I just realized the failure is the seminary teacher's and not SeminaryandInstitute ! I will contact the seminary and query their ability to use SeminaryandInstitute to enable Home-Centered Gospel Learning and then update this review.

I logged in and was happy go lucky for less than a day. I have to agree with a lot of the other reviews! It’s awesome, except for when it won’t work. I tried to open it again and it said, Client Authentication Failed. There’s no way to go back to try to log in again, and when I re-downloaded it, it... Show more didn’t even ask me to log in! It just pulled up the same, Client Authentication Failed page! How did it even know?? Please fix the glitches!

App still has bugs that need working out. SeminaryandInstitute has frozen on me multiple times, making me close and open, or log out and back in. Then when trying to update my contact info for each child, it tells me to check my internet connection. There’s nothing wrong with my internet connectio... The MySeminary website operates much more smoothly.
Please work on making SeminaryandInstitute more user friendly, and for parent accounts, more parent friendly. Switching between children should be a breeze.

Ever since the update I can’t get SeminaryandInstitute to load at all. It sticks in “Authenticating” or login limbo. I used to overcome that by deleting and reinstalling SeminaryandInstitute , but since the update to iOS 13.1.2, even that doesn’t work anymore.

I’ve been trying to use SeminaryandInstitute for 2 years and no matter how many times I update or reload I can only use it to take roll. The idea of SeminaryandInstitute is amazing, but it’s execution is poor. I just got it this past month or so when seminary started back up, and it hasn’t worked well since I first opened it. As it is I have to give them a separate schedule to follow (sometimes it is a doctrinal lesson one day with no scripture reading and then the next day they have 2 days worth of reading in one day).

I love SeminaryandInstitute, it makes marking scriptures way easy in seminary except with the last update my app has been really glitchy and I haven’t been able to mark my scripture reading. I love SeminaryandInstitute , the first time I open it. I love the info I can access for all my students and that I can keep track of reading and attendance. It takes a long time to load or it just doesn’t load at all. It’s great for recording your seminay readings but it makes it hard to when it won’t load.

This is a great app and the purpose is wonderful, but there are some not so smooth qualities about it. For example, the check buttons for what you have read. You check one that is near the bottom, and then the whole page resets and takes a while to load. That’s okay and can be worked around and fix... Show more ed to get a smoother selection menu.

App has been great, but a recent update does not allow for teachers to switch programs to another program location. It seems like the update created a pop up window, specific to a program location, that can’t be switch out of now.
Seems to crash with the new update when using a fingerprint login... Show more . Please help these bugs and return the usefulness of this great app.

When I open SeminaryandInstitute it says “authenticating” and stays like that forever, I kid you not, after a 90 min class and a 55 min free period it was still “Authenticating.”

I was literally trying to sign in on SeminaryandInstitute today and it wasn’t working. I was going to reply for it to be fixed because I need it for seminary and other studies, than right away an update alert showed up- I updated and now I’m in SeminaryandInstitute . Thanks for reading my mind 👍

I was trying to check who my Seminary teacher was but every time I opened it, it crashed after “Authenticating” for a short time. To the moment I wrote this review every time I opened it, it crashed.

I enjoy it because it provides the readings for seminary and gives me my attendance percentage, but every single time I bring it up I have to slide down to reload it multiple times to say I’m registered, which is annoying. SeminaryandInstitute worked perfectly last semester, but this semester it’s not. It keeps crashing when I open SeminaryandInstitute . The only way I can get it to work, is to uninstall then re-download it again.

SeminaryandInstitute booted me off and left a “client authentication failed” notice. I don’t know what that means, but there was no option to log back in. The issue I was trying to send feedback for is there is an incorrect default country of Kosovo for the student contact and it’s not an option to change in edit.
