IC Credit Union Reviews

Currently sitting in the waiting room at DCU. I will be taking all my money out of my savings because of this disaster of an update. I’ve been a member since the age of 6 and I’m now 23. Dissatisfied to say the least. I have zero access to my account since update.

This “updated” app is difficult to use and glitchy. Sometimes I can pay my mortgage (through IC) by going to that specific account. Sometimes I can’t because the button doesn’t respond. Then I am forced to pay the mortgage the traditional “bill pay” way which takes over a week to deliver. I am rather tech savvy but ICCreditUnion and even the website is too much to navigate.

The statements section usually freezes and once you get it to load the search screen, it doesn’t actually have a search function or button.

Can’t log in. Says it can’t authenticate. So frustrating !

I don’t know why ICCreditUnion is still on the iTunes Store, because it seems like a very Terrible prototype that they never put any effort into making it an actual “app” but rather a halfa**, non-functioning software. You constantly have to delete ICCreditUnion and re-download it, because it glitches out and won’t let you log in. It makes transferring money the longest unnecessary process I’ve ever experienced. This “app” alone, is what is causing me to take my money to a different bank. IC needs to get their sh** together and realize that it’s our money that there messing around with and if they want our business they need to create a better platform for their customers. If you are still with IC Federalists Credit Union I highly recommend going somewhere else, because ICCreditUnion has been dysfunctional for 1&1/2 years now and nothing has been done to fix it. It really makes you wonder, what else are they lacking/mismanaging to do with your money?

ICCreditUnion is complete trash, it’s always unable to process my request to view my balance or login. Absolutely ridiculous, if it’s not fixed ASAP I’m closing my account and taking my money to a bank that can allow me to view my balance whenever I try...which is every other bank in the US.

ICCreditUnion probably only works 1 day out of the week. You constantly just get a message telling you “unable to process request please try again later” every time you try to log in. It’s stressful when you need to transfer money/check balances and don’t have any easy way to do so. Also works 0% of the time on the new iPhone xs. I don’t think they realize people will switch banks over something like this.

I have to agree that ICCreditUnion is unreliable and frustrating. I manage multiple business accounts using several different financial institutions’ mobile banking apps and this one is HANDS DOWN the WORST. I agree with another reviewer that unless significant improvements are made to ICCreditUnion ASAP, I’m moving my accounts to another bank

No real-time alerts on debit transactions makes ICCreditUnion nearly useless. Obviously, no one sought input from the end users before dissociating from the old SecurLock app. There is no real-time alert mechanism to notify you if your account has been compromised.

The ui is atrocious compared to the old one. The old interface was super simple and easy to look at. This new one is to complicated looking. I know this review means nothing and I’ll know I’ll get used to it but…. Horrible looking…

I love depositing checks on the mobile app. But I wish the bill pay was more detailed so I could see the bills that were pending as I can see them on the website. But overall it’s very convenient for deposits and checking balances.

I would give it a 5 if there was a memo line on trfr. I know I could write it in my checkbook but it would be convenient to see here.

The old version of ICCreditUnion worked just fine and now that I updated to the new version with the add payee, it won't work and is stuck on a white screen with green header. You would think they would have tested this on a couple of different platforms before releasing it. Hopefully it will get fixed soon.

Easy and very helpful when away from home!

The bank last weekend went through a major upgrade online so I decided to reinstall ICCreditUnion . In the past I use to have ICCreditUnion and it was not worth it and deleted it. Now ICCreditUnion is functional and you have more options. It is what a banking app should be. Huge improvement download ICCreditUnion it’s worth it now.

I was always afraid to do on line banking. My daughter convinced me to try last year, so I did and I love it. It’s fast, easy and so convenient. Thanks for being such an awesome Credit Union.

I have been trying to get this latest version to work, but it accepts my Face ID and then goes nowhere.

App is easy to navigate and contains basic functionality for managing accounts. I like the new design and self-service options. Features previously available only in the web version are now accessible in ICCreditUnion , which makes it super convenient!

When it feels like working, it is great. Unfortunately, it is only in the mood to be useful about half of the time. It’s stuck on loading today. Not sure why I don’t just switch banks at this point. I guess I am afraid to end up with something even worse.
