First Citizens FCU Reviews

I have several accounts including a business account and 2 mortgage accounts. Bill pay is a huge hassle as well as Switching between accounts. My business and personal accounts are no longer easily linked. Viewing transaction and statements are aggravating!
Moving money from my business to personal accounts now takes 24 hours.
There is so much I dislike about this new app.
I was really hoping for easier banking not aggravating banking

For quite some time now FirstCitizensFCU been giving me a black screen and when I reload it, it gets stuck on a loading screen and thats all. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it so many times nothing works and it's getting annoying now

So frustrating. 9 times out of 10 FirstCitizensFCU won’t open and when it does it crashes. It’s time to work on this. So behind in technology. I only gave it one star because you can’t give zero stars.

I do not like the format FirstCitizensFCU uses. I liked the old app format much better. I would like to be able to see the running balance after each transaction, if there is a way to see that please advise.

Bill pay needs to have e-bills again. The new and improved system took that away. Basic feature in the current environment.

Would like to be able to make principle payments to my mortgage on line. Prior to the upgrade I as able to.

Also cannot add some of my monthly bills to bill pay that I was previously paying monthly via bill pay.

I find FirstCitizensFCU much more difficult to use than previous online platform. It seems very glitchy at times as an example it took 3 times to make a mobile deposit - did it tge wsy each time took 3 times to work

I don’t like that FirstCitizensFCU makes me two authentication every single time I go log in. It wasn’t doing that before and I click on use Face ID and it doesn’t change it every time.

I have no option to deposit check? despite being updated and on an iphone 13?

While I appreciate having online app. I feel the previous layout was more user friendly. I have to really search for check history. I have to click to see all the accounts. I liked jr better when you could visualize all of the accounts from the homepage.

It would be useful to see more info on auto loan payment. I would like to see the principal and interest split on the payment.

Have always enjoyed FirstCitizensFCU , but recently purchased a new iPhone with iOS 18, the Face ID no longer works and it is very disappointing. Not having Face ID, makes accessing FirstCitizensFCU more tedious. I am hopeful it will be updated in the near future.

I love using FirstCitizensFCU. The info I need is right at my fingertips. I can search easily. The only problem I’ve encountered is that I have difficulty communicating back/forth with a chat (live or not). I can only do it sometimes but not always. I’m sorry I don’t have an example off the top of my mind. All & all, it’s a wonderful app.

I can tell they have tried to make it better but it doesn’t seem intuitive. And maybe just a little to simple.

I want to thank everyone involved ( Rosemary & Heather) in helping me with my deposit on this day.. It was absolutely imperative that this be done for the simple reason I was out of the country !! TRULY A FIVE STAR CREDIT UNION…
