Sport Clips Haircuts Check In Reviews

Sport Clips fail. Checked in with Sport Clips app and when arrived my name wasn’t on the wait list. Still had the confirmation and arrival time showing l in SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn . (Yes, I was on time.) Their only solution was to check in again and wait 40 more minutes. Said I wasn’t going to... Show more do that and wait. The stylist said that 2 of them just finished and they would call the names in the list and if the people weren’t there, then they would take me. Fortunately for me there was only one other guy. The stylist who ended up cutting my hair said they have been having major problems with app/online check in and many customers complaining. If this is their customer service model and app performance...then wondering if I’ll ever go back.

I get a haircut once in a while. The only way to call ahead to get a haircut is to use SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn . First world problem I know but having to change the password every single time because I forget is very frustrating. If I’m in the car and don’t have time for the authentication process I’ll just go to Greatclips or Supercuts, which is cheaper as well.

Love the haircut I get in the store, but SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn is an absolute backbreaker.

That is simply not acceptable. You can’t have an app that lets you check in for a certain time. And then put someone else in front else that person and push their wait time back so far. There is a reason that people use SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn to check And that reason is to skip going all the way to the store to check in and then have to come back again later. It was very annoying as I don’t have much time during the week to get a haircut. Please fix this!

I’m a dad with 3 boys and SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn goes nuts and will not function when trying to check in 4 people at once. I don't know if it's just this particular store, or SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn , but the wait times are ALWAYS WRONG! They will give away your time slot in a heartbeat. The last time I had an actual appointment, my stylist finished her previous cut five minutes early, so she took on another 30-minute haircut before getting to me. I walked in to her seating another customer. It may not sound like much, but it's annoying to try to plan your day around things like this. If you have all day to sit around, at least you'll get a decent hair cut. If you want to plan in advance, call someone else.

Why is there no “electronic” season ticket?

It is almost 2020 why do I have to carry pieces of paper around for season ticket?

And to make matters worse — the season tickets only work at certain locations...

So I either need to have season tickets from 4 different locations (more freaking paper to carry and track) or what is the alternative?

The best part of a haircut “chain” is a consistent experience, but the season ticket is

1. not consistent
2. is not usable at more than one location
3. is not modern (paper vs electronic).

Note: I don’t use cash. I don’t carry a physical wallet. I use Apple Pay on my phone (and no, I’m not a millennial).

McDonald’s are independent franchises too, but their coupons can be used at other locations.

Can you please escalate to a VP (or higher) to assist???

It’s really annoying that you cant schedule appointments for future dates. Even as simple as the store is opening at 9AM here but it’s 8:30AM. I can’t see who is working to see if I want to schedule my appointment or not.

In the same fashion, if I called into Sports Clips it should be just as easy to schedule an appointment instead of being told I need to download SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn . I wouldn’t care if it was with an automated system.. but for a company as developed as you are. You would think you would focus on making things easier for the customers instead of centered around what works for you.

After going to the restroom I came out and now I was number four and my preferred stylist was given to someone else who was not on the list when I arrived. My Stylist has not yet started her shift at this point. What is the point of an app to help save you time and manage your time if it doesn’t work. Long time Sports Clips customer who buys the most expensive treatment every time. Looks like I’m going elsewhere.

The check in function and estimated wait time is a great feature that makes getting a hair cut more convenient for me. Other than that function, SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn works great and is easy to use.

As a stylist who works for Sport Clips myself, the idea of SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn is helpful, it’s not 100% quite yet but it does work and it is helpful. Sometimes it will give you wrong wait times (not by much) or sometimes it won’t let you check in, but feel free to give us your feedback and ... Show more we can let our owners know! I love how it especially gives you wait times for specific stylists but it won’t let you choose that stylist if they have over a two hour wait time (which is fair because our stylists need time to breathe!) also, if your stylist does not get their until a later time it will NOT let you check in with them until they clock in, your best bet is to walk in about 15 min before that time they are scheduled and say you want that specific stylist and the stylist should assist you and you should be in no time :) Has a few kinks, but don’t worry.

However I would really like to be able to find out which stylists Cut my hair in previous appointments (when I chose “first available”). That way, if I really liked a stylist from a previous appointment but didn’t get their name, I could go back and see who it was and request them for future appointments. Otherwise, SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn is helpful and does allow for a relatively easy check in and less wait time in the salon.

SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn was completely inaccessible to my phone as a blind user when it first came out. Now it is pretty good. The only confusing part I had was selecting my stylist from the list. I would recommend making the name of the stylist into a button that says, "select stylist Jane," or... Show more something like that. As it was, I had to tap on the estimated Wait Time part of the stylist's info to get the right one. But other than that, I'm pretty impressed. There are a few bits of annoyance that are more specific but I will leave them for a developer review should the company be so inspired to request my assistance since I'm an accessibility consultant.

Love using SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn for getting haircuts. It’s easy to see how busy a location is and to schedule ahead so I know how long it will be and to schedule accordingly. I would recommend having a button for when you arrive and the car type, and then for a confirmation text to come in.

I would always go to Great clips and Fantastic Sams before I went to a Sports Clips & 4 years later, Sports Clips is the only place I've gone to because it's seriously a step above the rest when it comes to making a men's haircut experience better, alot of men go once in awhile or it's a simple... I’ve been coming to here only on the occasions when my Personal freind who owns her own Salon aka Babershop isn’t available and I need to get it cut or I’ll freak out type situations. Not sure why others have had problems. App works fine, doesn’t really need all the bells and whistles. It’s straightforward and it functions as it should. Show more rom customer service just to have a stylist update while they are with a customer. They can’t constantly run to the computer every 2 seconds to update their time. So what would you have a time frame within 5-10mins or good service. I choose the latter. I guess a picture of the stylist would be great so you always know who you have, that did confuse me once when I thought I had my normal stylist which I didn’t have under my favorite yet. I downloaded SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn and checked in for a haircut. Arrived just before the estimated time and sat for another 45 mins. Right as my name was “on deck” it disappeared. I had to wait until another hair dresser was available to mention it. They didn’t really know what to do.

When I asked the manager about SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn she told me to don't even bother using it as they can’t control how it works and aren’t sure how they estimate wait times it’s best to just go in. Just Skip SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn and just show up. You’ll probably wait less.

Signed up for SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn per the recommendation of the stylist at our first visit. Noticed that the information (zip and phone) saved on my profile was incorrect. I’ve updated and saved the corrected info several times and it continues to revert back to the incorrect info. Contacted... Show more support and was told to update via the website. I did that. Everything is correct there, but SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn continues to show incorrect information. Wouldn’t care except the fact that my phone number is wrong, so I can’t get text alerts or use my phone number to check in. My account doesn’t exist because it’s the wrong number!!! Worthless service to have because it doesn’t even work!!! Highly disappointed and frustrated!!!

Encouraged by the stylists to use SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn to make appointments and not have to wait. Downloaded and used. Said my appointment was for 38 minutes. Got a text that said my stylist would be ready in 10 minutes. Got there in 5 minutes and my name was at the bottom of the list an... Show more d said I had a 38 minute wait. Stylist said SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn does't give you an appointment, it is just like calling a restaurant and telling them you are going to come in 45 minutes. Who calls a restaurant that does't take reservations and tells them you are coming in 45 minutes? This appears to be a scam to get your personal information to sell to a third party. Stay away.

SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn is terrible. I have it a 2 star rating because the tech works properly but as far as cutting down on your wait time it’s BS because as I write this I check in to the store on 96th street in Indianapolis and have been waiting 45 minutes since “my stylist was ready” accord... I had to reregister and that put me at the bottom of the queue. It appears that the online check-ins are not being synced with the local store’s check-in. This is a big negative! While I like the service I get at Sports Clips, I’ll just call instead of using SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn!

Online appointment it’s not good actually it’s going to lose lots of customers

There is a certain stylist I don't like, so instead of using "First Available" I select a different stylist. Arrived at store at assigned time, and watch ad my name went from 10 minutes to 2 minutes to 1 minute, then suddenly to 30 minutes. What the f*ck??????
