Sport Clips Haircuts Check In Reviews

This is only my third or fourth tyme coming here in a row but it’s a guarantee not to be my last. I just got done working a 60+ hour work week; I’m tyred; beat; drained; all the above aggravated and just want to go home and question lyfe in general. However I need a haircut. Well I come to Sport Clips; the Cartersville location just to find out my stylist Kay; who is INSANELY great; personable and professional...is on vacation. How dare she rite?!?! Lol. So to the parking lot I go feeling defeated and broken just to turn around and go back in WITH my girlfriend who rather strongly convinced me due to the fact of her being tyred of my constant bitterness over my unruly homeless man-esq mop. So I flipped a coin and picked Autumn to tame the slowly turning gray mane that lies upon my giant melon of a gourde I call a head. Look; I don’t know the hiring process for this house of hair but I think they must have to be dipped in gold!!! She did an amazing job! I’m a child of the 80s so I am absolutely particular about my hair. I grew up on Guns N’ Roses; don’t judge me. Due to Autumns’ professionalism and just all around awesomeness; I’m no longer apprehensive when Kay abandons me. Everyone that works here deserves a raise and cake. Cmon; who doesn’t like cake?

I would always go to Great clips and Fantastic Sams before I went to a Sports Clips & 4 years later, Sports Clips is the only place I've gone to because it's seriously a step above the rest when it comes to making a men's haircut experience better, alot of men go once in awhile or it's a simple cut and before I came here I'd never expect that a hot towel and neck/shoulder massage would make all the difference. Not to mention their products are great and smell great too and are designed for men to be able to get excited and want to get their hair cut in more ways than just leaving feeling like you look better I seriously feel better Everytime I leave. I guess it depends to on the stylists at the store but all the other days I've had have been great! Love SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn too works well and easy to navigate just wish they had a points system to redeem coupons or discounts more often but it's easy to look over because I've enjoyed finding this place so much the past few years.

Not sure why others have had problems. App works fine, doesn’t really need all the bells and whistles. It’s straightforward and it functions as it should. Not the apps fault of stylists are done faster or may take longer. That’s the human element that really can’t be de-bugged. It would take away from customer service just to have a stylist update while they are with a customer. They can’t constantly run to the computer every 2 seconds to update their time. So what would you have a time frame within 5-10mins or good service. I choose the latter. I guess a picture of the stylist would be great so you always know who you have, that did confuse me once when I thought I had my normal stylist which I didn’t have under my favorite yet. Other than that it’s great. Bug adjustments as normal and updates are always coming out so thank you.

As a stylist who works for Sport Clips myself, the idea of SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn is helpful, it’s not 100% quite yet but it does work and it is helpful. Sometimes it will give you wrong wait times (not by much) or sometimes it won’t let you check in, but feel free to give us your feedback and we can let our owners know! I love how it especially gives you wait times for specific stylists but it won’t let you choose that stylist if they have over a two hour wait time (which is fair because our stylists need time to breathe!) also, if your stylist does not get their until a later time it will NOT let you check in with them until they clock in, your best bet is to walk in about 15 min before that time they are scheduled and say you want that specific stylist and the stylist should assist you and you should be in no time :) Has a few kinks, but don’t worry.

Decent app. It can be a bit quirky at times. In a couple instances I’ve had it not let me check in and once it did check me in and didn’t confirm it. I found out 15 minutes later when I went back into SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn and tried to check in again. It wouldn’t let me and I realized I was actually already checked in from the first attempt. I appreciate that it allows me to choose the stylist I want. However I would really like to be able to find out which stylists Cut my hair in previous appointments (when I chose “first available”). That way, if I really liked a stylist from a previous appointment but didn’t get their name, I could go back and see who it was and request them for future appointments. Otherwise, SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn is helpful and does allow for a relatively easy check in and less wait time in the salon.

SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn was completely inaccessible to my phone as a blind user when it first came out. Now it is pretty good. The only confusing part I had was selecting my stylist from the list. I would recommend making the name of the stylist into a button that says, "select stylist Jane," or something like that. As it was, I had to tap on the estimated Wait Time part of the stylist's info to get the right one. But other than that, I'm pretty impressed. There are a few bits of annoyance that are more specific but I will leave them for a developer review should the company be so inspired to request my assistance since I'm an accessibility consultant.

I’ve been coming to here only on the occasions when my Personal freind who owns her own Salon aka Babershop isn’t available and I need to get it cut or I’ll freak out type situations. But , now that I’ve been coming here to get my haircut ( and I’m Very picky about my haircut ESPECIALLY THE FADE PART ) the last 4 times since this covid thing started and Have had Amber and Terry aka ‘TT’ cut my hair as well as two other stylists which I can’t remember their names off the top of my head. I think Kelly maybe anyway great haircut. Great staff. Great place. And IT WAS GREAT EXPERIENCE. OH AND I LOOK GREAT KNOW TOO. THANKS AGAIN AMBER !! And SPORTS CLIPS. I think SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn is great. It definitely has some issues with the wait time and sometimes it doesn’t let me check in (kind of freezes) but other than that, it works well.
I personally think it would be cool to be able to pay on SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn by the touch of a button with a card that’s already linked and then should pop up on the screen immediately so the stylist can see it’s been paid. Sometimes people leave their wallets at home or that card they wanted to use or what not. That would be convenient. Just a thought..

SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn is a good idea, but has a major flaw. Today I checked in at 3:20 PM with a wait time is 45 minutes for my stylist. I went and confirmed that I was checked in and waiting for my stylist to be done. It said I hadOne minute but after waiting several minutes it bumped me up to 30 minute wait! That is simply not acceptable. You can’t have an app that lets you check in for a certain time. And then put someone else in front else that person and push their wait time back so far. There is a reason that people use SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn to check And that reason is to skip going all the way to the store to check in and then have to come back again later. It was very annoying as I don’t have much time during the week to get a haircut. Please fix this!

I’m a dad with 3 boys and SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn goes nuts and will not function when trying to check in 4 people at once. It just repeatedly asks me if I’m ok with a wait time that is one minute different over and over and won’t complete check in. I can only check in myself when I remove all other guests and start over. Then calling the store they cannot check in anyone else until we physically arrive and when I finally arrive they have to check in my sons manually and after everyone else 30
min later than my scheduled time. I understand I’m not the normal single person checking in but this system is completely useless for me. I’m going to look elsewhere if not resolved at my next visit.

I don't know if it's just this particular store, or SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn , but the wait times are ALWAYS WRONG! They will give away your time slot in a heartbeat. I received a text stating I was next in line. I walk into the store three minutes later, I'm now 2nd in line with at least an extra 15 minute wait. The last time I had an actual appointment, my stylist finished her previous cut five minutes early, so she took on another 30-minute haircut before getting to me. I walked in to her seating another customer. It may not sound like much, but it's annoying to try to plan your day around things like this. If you have all day to sit around, at least you'll get a decent hair cut. If you want to plan in advance, call someone else.

Why is there no “electronic” season ticket?

It is almost 2020 why do I have to carry pieces of paper around for season ticket?

And to make matters worse — the season tickets only work at certain locations...

There are 4 locations near me and each have different franchise owners that don’t accept season tickets from the location a few miles away.

So I either need to have season tickets from 4 different locations (more freaking paper to carry and track) or what is the alternative?

The best part of a haircut “chain” is a consistent experience, but the season ticket is

1. not consistent
2. is not usable at more than one location
3. is not modern (paper vs electronic).

Note: I don’t use cash. I don’t carry a physical wallet. I use Apple Pay on my phone (and no, I’m not a millennial).

McDonald’s are independent franchises too, but their coupons can be used at other locations.

Can you please escalate to a VP (or higher) to assist???

Love using SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn for getting haircuts. It’s easy to see how busy a location is and to schedule ahead so I know how long it will be and to schedule accordingly. Personally I prefer Sports Clips over their competitors in my town mainly for the ease of scheduling and they have a couple great stylist. The only complaint of SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn is the messaging system when you arrive is not super efficient. I would recommend having a button for when you arrive and the car type, and then for a confirmation text to come in.

SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn is nice it makes getting your haircut so much easier no more feeling like you have to be a zombie sitting watching everything I can log in check in and boom I’m done, I can even ask for my favorite stylist lol only thing I wish this had was a way to either ADD a picture of how you want your haircut ahead of time OR you can have a description of how your last haircut was in case you want the same thing. That would blow all the other HAIR SALON APPS out of the water

It’s really annoying that you cant schedule appointments for future dates. Even as simple as the store is opening at 9AM here but it’s 8:30AM. I can’t see who is working to see if I want to schedule my appointment or not.
I realize that this issue is the epitome of White People Problems.. but I’ve run into this issue so many times that it has become ridiculous. In the same fashion, if I called into Sports Clips it should be just as easy to schedule an appointment instead of being told I need to download SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn . I wouldn’t care if it was with an automated system.. but for a company as developed as you are. You would think you would focus on making things easier for the customers instead of centered around what works for you.

I was driving so I called my local Sports Clips and they told me that one person was ahead of me. My normal stylist was not available yet so she said just come on in and I’d likely be her first customer. I did not want to risk it so I open my app and click the first available to check in. When I arrived, I was number two as expected. After going to the restroom I came out and now I was number four and my preferred stylist was given to someone else who was not on the list when I arrived. My Stylist has not yet started her shift at this point. What is the point of an app to help save you time and manage your time if it doesn’t work. Long time Sports Clips customer who buys the most expensive treatment every time. Looks like I’m going elsewhere.

The check in function and estimated wait time is a great feature that makes getting a hair cut more convenient for me. However, adding the ability to schedule appoints on a future date, or even at a specific time on the same day would be great. If there’s a 180 minute wait now for my stylist of choice, I’d like the option to schedule an appointment later so that I can still get my hair cut by my stylist. Other than that function, SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn works great and is easy to use.

I get a haircut once in a while. The only way to call ahead to get a haircut is to use SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn . In my area there are 5 Sportsclips within a few miles and some are busy and some aren’t but it’s not always a fixed thing. The only way I can see which doesn’t have a wait is to use SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn so the feature they have with the map can be very helpful. The issue is I have to sign in every time I open SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn . First world problem I know but having to change the password every single time because I forget is very frustrating. If I’m in the car and don’t have time for the authentication process I’ll just go to Greatclips or Supercuts, which is cheaper as well.

Love the haircut I get in the store, but SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn is an absolute backbreaker.

Sport Clips fail. Checked in with Sport Clips app and when arrived my name wasn’t on the wait list. Still had the confirmation and arrival time showing l in SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn . (Yes, I was on time.) Their only solution was to check in again and wait 40 more minutes. Said I wasn’t going to do that and wait. The stylist said that 2 of them just finished and they would call the names in the list and if the people weren’t there, then they would take me. Fortunately for me there was only one other guy. The stylist who ended up cutting my hair said they have been having major problems with app/online check in and many customers complaining. If this is their customer service model and app performance...then wondering if I’ll ever go back.

Love SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn! For my son, who is on the autism spectrum, waiting is horrible... not a walk in the park for those waiting with him either! With SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn, I can set up his appointment with his preferred stylist... we can choose the day based on who is available. The guessing game is gone!
Now with the new systems in place for Covid-19, it is even more helpful. We were there this morning and he did very well with the kind support they showed him. It is the only place he will go for his haircuts 😊

SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn is terrible. I have it a 2 star rating because the tech works properly but as far as cutting down on your wait time it’s BS because as I write this I check in to the store on 96th street in Indianapolis and have been waiting 45 minutes since “my stylist was ready” according to SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn. On top of that somehow there are still another two people in front of me and the hair stylists are just shooting the breeze with each other. No sense of customer care or efficiency here. It’s Saturday and this stupid needs to work on their staffing. There are three people with one training. They should probably run training days when it’s not the busiest day and time of the week. Just some feedback from an upset customer who likely won’t be back.

Signed up for SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn per the recommendation of the stylist at our first visit. Noticed that the information (zip and phone) saved on my profile was incorrect. I’ve updated and saved the corrected info several times and it continues to revert back to the incorrect info. Contacted support and was told to update via the website. I did that. Everything is correct there, but SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn continues to show incorrect information. Wouldn’t care except the fact that my phone number is wrong, so I can’t get text alerts or use my phone number to check in. My account doesn’t exist because it’s the wrong number!!! Worthless service to have because it doesn’t even work!!! Highly disappointed and frustrated!!!

I downloaded SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn and checked in for a haircut. Arrived just before the estimated time and sat for another 45 mins. Right as my name was “on deck” it disappeared. I had to wait until another hair dresser was available to mention it. They didn’t really know what to do.

Eventually the assistant manager was called from break to cut my hair. She gave me the worst haircut I ever received and had to spend another 20 minutes waiting for another hairdresser to fix my hair.

When I asked the manager about SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn she told me to don't even bother using it as they can’t control how it works and aren’t sure how they estimate wait times it’s best to just go in. Just Skip SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn and just show up. You’ll probably wait less.

I attempted to make a remote check-in through SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn. The time was confirmed on my iPhone screen. I kept the screen open so that I could show the stylists in case there was a problem. I arrived at the time recommended by SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn , but my name was not on the local check-in list. The stylist wasn’t terribly sympathetic about this and mentioned that they have nothing to do with SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn . I had to reregister and that put me at the bottom of the queue. It appears that the online check-ins are not being synced with the local store’s check-in. This is a big negative! While I like the service I get at Sports Clips, I’ll just call instead of using SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn!

I have taken my children twice and they have left desepcionado because they have not done well what they want and I do not take them anymore there even today I took my youngest child and I showed him a picture of what he wanted and on several occasions I had to say to fix it because it was not like that and anyway it did not stay as I wanted in case there are doubts there is one who works there called Nathalie is very slow, works with fear and almost put my child's head down knees to trim and after all I did not speak to entertain him that was the one I had to say today to fix several times the cut so I do not recommend the place because it does not have charisma or friendliness

Encouraged by the stylists to use SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn to make appointments and not have to wait. Downloaded and used. Said my appointment was for 38 minutes. Got a text that said my stylist would be ready in 10 minutes. Got there in 5 minutes and my name was at the bottom of the list and said I had a 38 minute wait. Stylist said SportClipsHaircutsCheckIn does't give you an appointment, it is just like calling a restaurant and telling them you are going to come in 45 minutes. Who calls a restaurant that does't take reservations and tells them you are coming in 45 minutes? This appears to be a scam to get your personal information to sell to a third party. Stay away.
