Don't bother wasting your time. SmartPayBusiness has not worked from the start. After it would not work I deleted it then a year later thought I'll give it a try again and guess what, it still does not work at all and I have a new phone since the last time I tried it. It crashes every time I try to use it. Don't waste your time.

App used to work about 50% of the time (if that) and now after an update it wont even log in despite my credentials being the same.
Your gonna want cards through smart pay cause SmartPayBusiness is garbage.

The new update collerely broke SmartPayBusiness. Cannot login at all. Stranded at a gas station with no way of paying for my gas. Spent 30,‘United on the telephone with a useless rep and I’m still stranded here. What nonsense!

Don’t bother. Never works. If you live near a pilot fuel station download theirs. I’ve never had a problem with theirs.

7 out of 10 times authorizing pump ends up with “card not authorized” Try to authorize again, same. 3rd time it might authorize the pump, usually it won’t. Try a different pump, sometimes that one will work, most of the time not. Spending 10 minutes trying to get fuel is unacceptable, especially when you fill the tank once or twice a day. I usually leave and fuel up at a different supplier.

I’ve been using SmartPayBusiness for the past 10 months and I’m very satisfied. Really convenient and you don’t have to worry if you don’t have cash in hands or bother getting your card to pay for gas.
As a small business owner I really like the idea of not giving the company’s card to anyone.
Would be nice if the business app also had some of the features of the individual’s app

App only works about 50% of the time and only after spending 10 minutes at the pump waiting for SmartPayBusiness to approve the transaction. For some reason one time while walking INTO the store I was able to get the pump to authorize transaction.
Sometimes it states pump not found, try another pump forcing one to drive to another pump and most cases you have to wait again....Not sure why they continue to advertise for an app which doesn’t work. Seems like a huge waste of money.
I hope another gas company like BP or Mobil or Circle K - buys them out and makes things right....
