Great resource for expecting Heart parents. It needs more defect descriptions. My son's defect is very rare and is not listed. Pulmonary Vein Stenosis.
This is a great overview, but focuses on CHDs. Given Cincinnati Children's status as a center of excellence for pediatric cardiomyopathy, perhaps those issues could be displayed as well?
Furthermore, it would be great to see a 3D model of a transplanted pediatric heart, as that is the end game for many children with heart issues.

Overall it is a great app to explain and show your child's defect(s) to everyone. However, I wish that we could choose many different defects and put it in one heart to see the many defects your child might have at once! ❤️💙❤️
Cincinnati Children's has consistently been ahead of the game providing web-based educational tools. Heartpedia continues in that tradition!
As a CVICU RN and pediatric nursing clinical instructor, I have used Heartpedia on numerous occasions as a resource to teach patients, families, colleagues, and nursing students about the complexities of CHD.
While not an exhaustive resource, I believe Heartpedia to be an indispensable resource and welcomed addition to my educational toolkit. I look forward to continued updates!

I just learned about this new app at the 24 annual international adult congenital heart symposium in cincinnati ohio . This will be a great visual teaching for medical providers and patients thanks cincinnati children's hospital for Heartpedia I live it.
I showed this to my son's cardiologist today, and he was blown away! My 9 year old loved looking at Heartpedia while his cardiologist explained to him tetralogy of Fallot.
Love Heartpedia!! It is truly amazing for people to be able to see exactly where and what and how any heart problem can be identified and taken care of!
This would have been so helpful during my daughter's initial diagnosis. The only thing that would make it better is if it included Interrupted Aortic Arch!
