this app royally messed up my travel to the airport this morning - they texted me at 7am that my flight was on time and departing at 9am from the west side heliport to get to JFK by 9:05am for my flight out at 10am. My friend who was on the same flight got a text that the flight had been canceled at 7am, but this app didn’t text me about the cancellation until 8:30am, after I had left for the west side heliport. I had to scramble to arrange my own transportation to JFK and am working to rebook on a new flight at my expense since I won’t arrive in time due to this app’s negligence and terrible service.

I signed up to use this app for the first time to have a more relaxed, efficient, and nice experience getting to the airport from Manhattan and they provided the exact opposite. Do not use them!!

The latest app update is forcing me to login every time. My phone for some reason isn’t remembering the password- maybe because it’s a web page pulled in an app? Regardless it’s endlessly frustrating and makes me not want to log in or use the service. This is the only app of say 50 I use regularly that does this. Pls change it back to just remember your repeat customers!

I coordinated for a week with a this app employee on chartering a private flight from JFK to my hometown. On the day of our flight the landing location says they have an event that evening so we have to land before 5 pm and they hadn't heard a word from this app. Turns out the this app employee couldn't pick up the phone and instead sent an email on a Friday afternoon, and therefore hadn't coordinated and confirmed the landing location by the day we were flying. To top that off, the shuttle from the main terminal to the helipad took 20 minutes to get to us. It only took 5 minutes to then get from the terminal to the helipad. this app should reevaluate working with SHELTAIR who seem wholly incapable.
I will say the this app employee was very responsive and finally confirmed with my second choice airport for landing.
The pilot and helicopter they sent were both exceptional. They delivered on the promised service of a safe flight from A to B, but the level of competence was disappointing.
What should have been an efficient time saver turned out to only be moderately better than taking a 2 hour car ride.
I've also flown one of their regular flights to Montauk last year and it was delayed for an hour or more.
BLADE is easy to navigate, but if you're chartering your own flight I'd say be prepared to do half of the legwork yourself.

Downloaded BLADE two years ago and was very impressed with the service as I used it almost every week this summer. Flawless end to end experience in the New York lounges and excellent customer service at the East Hampton Airport location. Truly a revolutionary product.

Had to book a last minute helicopter to make it to a meeting in New Jersey over the summer. this app was able to get one to NYC within 20 minutes of my first call. Simon was very accommodating.

Not only is BLADE intuitive and pain free to use, the customer service at this app is second to none. A must have app in the NYC area that will change your traveling/commuting experience.

I flew right from Manhattan, via the connecting helicopter. Between the heli connection and avoiding security/ general airport bs, the trip was the easiest I've ever had. And the flight itself was so comfortable. Will never fly to Miami another way again.

Last week I took a train to east Hampton, but on the way back I was in a hurry so I booked my first this app flight. It went off without a hitch. I got home in 45min, and the views were incredible. I'll never drive or take the train again.

Seamless experience to book a copter. Excited to fly this app this weekend and get out of the city.

Thinking about the time value of money, makes total sense to take a 30min flight to the Hamptons and save the time from having to drive.

Can't wait to take flight.

These folks are unbelievable.
My flight was delayed out of Teterboro. So my this app chopper conx was missed. They were going to close but they remained open for my comfort an extra hour and a half. Even though I was now connecting
using a Different Helo Company!!

BLADE is informative and fluid to use. The flying experience itself is always flawless. The staff in the lounges and the ground crew are always smiling, and whether I’m flying NYC for a quick flight to the Hamptons or NYC to Aspen, the time seems to slip by so peacefully (and it definitely beats flying commercial)! Great customer service as well.

Flying with this app is a great experience. Their lounges are modern and luxurious, and the complimentary drinks and snacks are sure to keep you happy and relaxed. When you step into the helicopter you are given a glass of rose, and on the other side there are this app girls waiting to top it off for you. This is a company that doesn't want you to lift a finger and always goes the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of. I certainly will continue to use this service in the future.

We took a seaplane from Manhattan to East Hampton. It was very quick and easy to book the flight. The seaplane dock and lounge was easy to find - the this app logo was clearly visible from the road and the seaplane terminal is unmistakable. We had some coffee in the lounge and before we could finish our aircraft was EARLY! When does that happen?

Flight was super smooth and the crew friendly.

We would definitely fly this app again and in other locations. Really want them to open in the Rocky Mountains! Ski season is almost here.

I took a this app flight from JFK to Manhattan several months ago as I had a meeting in the city I couldn’t miss and the experience was superb. The lounge had several snack and drink options and the employees were all friendly and knowledgeable. My flight only took five minutes, whereas if I were to take an Uber it would’ve been an hour. My only feedback would be making it so I could book with fewer clicks on BLADE , but overall BLADE works fine. I have since recommended this app to several of my friends.

You won’t find better value at $195 to fly from NYC to local airports. The team is so helpful and I was at the terminal in 15 minutes door to door. The real value is knowing you’ll be at JFK in 15 minutes total and removing that stress around the unknown traffic times. I would highly recommend and once you try it you won’t go back to Uber or a cab.
