I placed an order at 11:10pm and after one hour and a half i texted in elmenus that my order hasn’t been sent … All they told me was we are sorry but the restaurant you ordered from has no delivery personnel… three are hundreds of under developed apps that at least call you to tell you that the order has some sort of problem and the feedback is highly responsive… Personally I wont use elmenus again… And wont recommend it to any one either

They also charged my credit card and nothing was send in return not even a message to let me know what happened to the failed transaction

Everytime i would try to pay with my visa card elmenus would crash, and when i tried to contact them about it they denied that they have any technical issues and wouldn't even help me fix elmenus .

I cant use any visa still, elmenus still crashes, and they told me to only place cash orders so that stops happening. Super unprofessional

Phone: iPhone 7 with iOS 11.3.1.
elmenus starts but shows an error on the main screen “something went wrong, please try again” and doesn’t proceed further. I’m outside Egypt so not sure if elmenus is trying to detect my location and map it to a certain delivery area. Previous version used to default to last delivery area set in the user preferences.

I removed my account and elmenus
Because of the pop up rating message of previous order after opening elmenus . I accidentally found that canceling it gives one star rating to restaurants. I doubted when I found restaurants stopped delivering to my address and the quality of their orders degrades.

Whenever i order from this app i need to contact the support, they either forget to send the order to the restaurant or they have a problem with the system
The support answers after an eternity
They need to stick to their mission of being a simple app offering you the menu
They need 100 years to be able to deliver

Their ETA is crap !! It’s not consistent with the actual delivery time of the restaurant.

When I called the restaurant, they said their ETA was 90 minutes and that elmenus is probably glitching .

The thing is , I don’t want to call the restaurant!! Why would I do so ! I ordered from el menus! , they have the upper hand here, not one client!

But guess what , when your order doesn’t arrive a stupid pop up message from elmenus says
That’s unfortunate how about you try calling the restaurant!! 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Their review system is broken just like vezeeta anyone who can type gets to review, there is no built in review ranking AI to distinguish quality review from a guy who just adds 5 stars. They don’t allow for large review text , so you can’t describe exactly what went wrong with a restaurant.

I’ve used their app for approx more than a year, it’s time to download talabat and check out others.

Guys el menus was initially intended to show you a restaurant menu with its phone number so let’s just use it for that !

I have payment issues and I can’t even reach a single customer care representative and the only thing is a default nonsense questionnaire asking what is the problem without leaving options to for the questions required from the client. Honest am very disappointed with the nonsense application

Extremely bad service
We made an order it didn’t show up for 3 hours.
and for the 3 hours we kept trying to contact elmenues who said it’s almost delivered
And finally we contacted the restaurant who said that the order was ready for over 2 hrs and that elmenues runner didn’t come to pick it up.
Very very very bad experience and will be last tome for me to use this crappy service.

Every single time i’ve made an order its been over an hour late, sometimes over 2 hours late. their customer support is an absolute embarrassment, you feel like you’re speaking to an automated response system and not an actual human being. they are completely incompetent and useless. i’ve never faced this issue with talabat or jumia whatsoever and it was a massive mistake dealing with this app delivery. literally never ever again.

Orders are taking too long and the customer service are talking in a bad way and there is no drivers accepting my order and also the customer service refuse to cancel it !!! So i remain in a situation where i can’t cancel the order from el menus and order it from the restaurant and also remain starving because no one is delivering it! I do not recommend it to anyone. The customer service doesnt solve any problem related to the order

It’s so disappointing what you’ve done to elmenus . By adding a delivery option, you made elmenus interface almost unusable. this app was my go to app before any outing. Simple, easy to use and reliable. Always up to date with any menu. Now, elmenus is heavy, slow and messy. I can’t even see the menu options well because if a menu is somewhere that doesn’t deliver to me, it becomes gray. I really hope you can give us a menus only app back. I recommend making a separate app for food delivery. It’ll be much more focused and specialized.

Just as horrible, unethical and unprofessional as the other ordering applications in Egypt, using this app or Talabt is just the worst thing that could ever happen to you. No decent customer service, huge amount of glitches (a restaurant could be in the same street as you, and you’ve ordered plenty of times using this app itself, and all of a sudden the restaurant does not deliver to your area) also all along with the restaurant that they say closed or busy, when they are not.
Horrible. No stars if possible.

This is not any where close to an ok app. It literally ruined my sinxe i made an oder on ot around 5pm and it is now 9pm and my order has not been yet delivered. Having previously dealt woth the franchise that i ordered i knew it was the appa fault and for that i gave a one star rating which i beleive it does bot even deserve si ce it does not accomplish what it boasts not even slightly. elmenus simply does not function.

You guys really need to work on some core components like adding/removing bank cards, quality of the customer care and adding credit to accounts instead of these meal share updates you keep hitting us with. I mean do you really think someone who’s hungry and about to order will go; oh wait I have to tell Mezo and Sarah about the supreme meal before I get it? Seriously?

This application really needs to be updated. It is very buggy and won’t work except if you delete it and reinstall every time there is an update. Seriously this is not convenient every time to create a new account as well. I am using iOS 15.6.1

I love elmenus and all but when it comes to payment , I always pay with cash but from time to time when I make an order and the delivery guy arrives the amount on the bill and the amount on elmenus is different.

It’s been more than two weeks that I can’t open elmenus
It keeps closing even after yesterday’s update

Since I couldn’t find anywhere I can report this issue I’m doing it here.

The indexing for the “Filter” in filter by dishes is off by 1.

Nice interface. No location input problems.
