Glitches In The App

I keep my card locked and almost everyday I have problems unlocking my card but never have a problem locking it. It’s disappointing because there’s times I’ve had a full cart of groceries and had to leave it due to not being able to simply unlock my card so I can purchase my items.

This app is so bad now.

The old mobile banking app was much less attractive looking, but actually worked. This one is terrible. I could spend $500 in 5 separate purchases and it still wouldn’t show on my balance three days later. There’s no point in HeritageFederalCreditUnion, because unlike the old version, I now have to keep physical track of my spending in a checkbook. If the point of mobile banking is to have an electronic version of spending to keep track, HeritageFederalCreditUnion is useless. It makes no sense. All they did was make it prettier and now I have to worry about accidentally over drafting if I make a mistake in my own financial tracking.

Horrible!!!

I hate the red background on the account makes you think you have overdrawn and I used to be able to see my check deposit A few days before and when it will be deposited and I can no longer see that, I could also click on a hold to see more info like when the hold was going to expire and can’t see that, my husband and I want the old app back. HeritageFederalCreditUnion is awful, I have also had to put my password back in multiple times because the Face ID thing isn’t working. Please go back to the old app there was absolutely nothing wrong with it and it worked

Talk about backwards

I used to be able to do everything with ease. The new app while it looks nice most of the time has a lot more bugs. It’s not as thought out in the layout and it has reduced functionality. Used to be able to transfer a balance in a matter of minutes. That now requires a phone call. The bill pay and transfer functions are also not as nice and simple as they used to be. Sometimes the quick view doesn’t load just sits with blank boxes. Some of it just makes no sense why it was designed the way it was.

New look, but now broken.

They made such a big deal about launching this new app and how it was going to be so awesome and great and have all these new features. And now core features of HeritageFederalCreditUnion like actually being able to see your account or notifications just don't work. It's garbage and they've made no effort to fix these Day 1 bugs. If you can't fix the pretty app, just give us the old, functional one back.

HFCU Big Business

I have been with HFCU for over 30 years. I was with them back when they were WFCU. Back then they were more like a family and was willing to go the extra mile. I recall them indicating at one time that they would never “sale out”. Alas the lure of big money was too much and it is definitely apparent that there has been a major paradigm shift. Especially in customer service. It should be noted, that my general observation about HFCU stems from overall dissatisfaction on all the changes that have been made through the years. I am in excellent financial standing and am not venting due to any particular disagreement with HFCU. I feel that my relationship with HFCU has ran its course and I have begun looking for another credit union that is small, hungry and willing to still go the extra mile for their customers.

Pretty but not as functional

The new app is pretty. However some aspects are big and clunky and not visually appealing. And you don’t get notifications of anything at all unless you open HeritageFederalCreditUnion . So they are not really alerts if I’m opening HeritageFederalCreditUnion I can see what happened. But this could have all happened days/weeks ago. But your app only alerts me when it is open on screen. Then I get them all at once.

Terrible Design Update

Honestly, there is nothing wrong with the functionality of HeritageFederalCreditUnion . The issue is the color scheme. Why on earth would you use red as an account background?! It immediately makes you think your account is overdrawn and in the negative. This needs to be changed immediately.

Min amount not posted on cc payment

I went to pay my cc bill thru HeritageFederalCreditUnion . It showed a minimum due as $0. I knew that wasn’t correct and payed some on it to ensure there was a payment made. I went to the documents section to find my statement but it did not show any documents. I checked multiple times. Next thing I know I have a late fee because I didn’t pay enough. Not fair when it said minimum due was $0

the New App is non-functional

• doesn’t show your transactions until DAYS later
• doesn’t tell you if pending transactions have already been factored into your “available balance”
• ^^^ sometimes it is, sometimes it isn’t, there’s no consistency
• doesn’t let me log in anymore :)
• my debit card is no longer working either, so what is the point of this bank in the first place. literally had it issued and the next day it stopped working.

Lots of extra buttons and lags

The new app (that’s been in use the last year I believe) seems to have more buttons to get to things and can be misleading. Bill pay is kinda hidden. It also lags pretty bad compared to the previous app. I am using a IPhone.

App limitations

HeritageFederalCreditUnion should allow me to adjust the date and amount of automatic payments. In order to change the date I have to delete the entire payment series.
Also you should have a month at a glance bill pay calendar in order to better visualize when payments are to be made and make adjustments if necessary.

No print

Only one complaint. I use my iPad to sign into the Heritage on line app. I print my monthly reports every month. For the last few months the air print function does not work. I have to go to my iphone to print the reports.

New App

The new app is a great improvement over the old one. I like being able to categorize transactions. There is a flexible feature which lets the user add a category, which is great. However if you change your mind or make a typo, there is no way to edit or delete a category the user has created. As long as the category is unpopulated, an edit or delete option needs to be made available for user created categories.

Almost…

HeritageFederalCreditUnion has definitely gotten better since the new look/update. We love the multiple ways to communicate with customer service and banking locations through HeritageFederalCreditUnion , BUT it’s still screams,
“I was made by a white guy, that is older, and not keen to trends.”
I apologize for my bluntness, but I am autistic, and I work in the visual communications field, so I have high expectations, when it comes to technology and managing my money.
We have been banking with HFCU for well over a decade, and it took a really long time for the update to happen to begin with, and that was disappointing as well.
Lastly, it still comes off, like you’re trying to punish poor people, instead of deterring behaviors, when it comes to overdrafts, and things of that nature. We’ve got to get away from this “Republican” kind of business practices, and try a more modern approach to banking and people. Thanks.

New banking app

I love the new app! It was easy to upgrade from their previous app. Took only a few steps to verify account and I was in. Love all the upgrades, including photo check deposit.

New App, Endless Possibilities!

Love the new and improved mobile experience!! There are so many things I can do on my own through HeritageFederalCreditUnion without having to go in or call the bank. Love being able to save time and take care of the majority of my banking needs on the time frame that works for me! Way to go HFCU!!

Can’t believe others say the other app is better, this one is so much easier to navigate and has more information!

The BEST Digital Banking App

The new version of HeritageFederalCreditUnion is incredible! It has everything I could ever need in one easily accessible place. Thank you Heritage for upgrading HeritageFederalCreditUnion!

Easy app

Easy app to use, however my only issue is only certain locations are limited on certain transactions they are allowed to do. All HFCU should be able to have same option transactions available to customers, new and the loyal customers should matter.
