I got sick of my 1993 power rangers sitting on a shelf untouched for way too long. I can blame myself thinking not everyone is out to rob you. It’s been years since I checked online for an updated price, but I figured I’d try it out for fun. I got an $85 quote for an item that I knew was worth much more and since I wasn’t in a hurry I considered it. Until I got a message less than a day later saying they gave me the wrong buy price and re-quoted $20 or $25 dollars instead. I thought for $60 less I’d take 2 minutes to look it up. $400 for mint like mine and $300 for used. I know these are long shot prices, but if just one person considers it something they just need than why not? $85 was pushing it, but $25? Thank you for reassuring me that there are still plenty of people out there waiting to take advantage of others. Sorry! Not this time! They really need to start allowing zero stars when it’s called for.

If you’re a serious/money collector, this app is not for you.
While it is a neat and clever idea, these people have zero intentions on paying fair prices for legitimate collectibles.
To begin with, their database doesn’t seem to be too expansive yet. I won’t give them a hard time for that because everyone has to start somewhere- and like I said, this is a neat idea, in theory.
I am serious collector of Funko pops. I have paid rent with the money I’ve made with these things at times. I know a thing or two about them. I have an expansive collection but it took me a while to scan something that was actually found on this app. I took a big money item and scanned it only to get back a $6 quote. Uh uh. Nice try, Stephen Frye.
So it was a nice thing to check out but I’ll delete the app and keep on truckin’ with my old world ways of actually speaking to people and haggling and dealing… like a man… with chest hair!

Went through scanning, submitting list, and getting an offer. The scanning part of the app stopped working after 60 or so items. Later tried scanning other items, got 21 onto a different list. Most prices received were under 5% of eBay values for the same sold items on eBay. Sorted through my items for the toys with offers and boxed them, weighed boxes. Shipping is discounted by more than 50%, but after deducting that cost from the total offered, it was not worth the net I would have been paid. Brian’s Toys says they are “strict” with their grading, so although my toy collection is quite collectible, still new in boxes after 30 plus years, and easily saleable, there is no information about their grading process, so you may not get the price they offered in the first place. I will keep my collection and sell piecemeal on eBay or elsewhere as selling just two of the items there that they wanted to buy will net more money than the net price that I would have received from Brian’s Toys, and with far less hassle. My advice is to skip using this app and Brian’s Toys completely.
