App crashes almost every time I perform an action with it (using iPhone 13 and rarely have this issue otherwise.)

Have had issues this year with app showing what purchases have been made on my list - I shouldn’t see that. Also items which have been marked as purchased are not marked anymore - had several duplicate gifts given. What happened to elfster - it used to be great. Not so great anymore.

I’m using an iPhone 13 and my Elfster app won’t allow me add gift ideas to my wishlist. Yes, I already have the latest Elfster app updates. ( I have been able to add to my wishlist from my desk top computer in the past , but I have to be home in order to use that.)

How to fix Elfster app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Elfster app on iPhone
Update Elfster app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Elfster iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Elfster on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Elfster network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Elfster Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Elfster not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Elfster App
1. On android, goto Settings » Elfster » click [Force Stop]

Update Elfster to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Elfster App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Elfster » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Elfster.

Fix Elfster unable to contact server/ Elfster internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Elfster » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Elfster » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Elfster
