I recently had a new Galaxy VX1000 UPS installed at my facility, and it was suggested that I download the My Schneider app, which I did. Unfortunately the model of my UPS is not able to be loaded as an asset, so I can’t use mySchneider .

In addition, there is no technical support link for mySchneider . When I was on the phone calling in a problem with the UPS, I asked the support guy about it and he was not able to help, either. In all fairness, he said that he would pass it on, and get back to me with a resolution.

mySchneider seems to serve to many customer types. It’s confusing and difficult.

Mainly downloaded to check on my orders remotely and I can’t even get that .....

If you need mySchneider to add a device, it should be very obvious how to do it. Products has no option for scanning a new item.

I have a cloud connected ups that suggested I use mySchneider...

mySchneider doesn’t actually show any info or status for my UPS, but I can see it on APCs site.

When first accessing mySchneider , you are asked to login, and then are redirected to a web page... um, that’s not how apps should work.

When you want to add/register a UPS to your account via mySchneider , you again are sent to a web page, that’s poorly formatted for mobile.

Dear APC:
I want an app that that shows me all of my UPS fleet, without redirecting me to various web pages— it needs to be all done within mySchneider .

Maybe eventually APC will improve mySchneider, but given APCs record of poorly designed software, I’m not optimistic.

I wish APC would make an effort to improve the partner experience. Web portal
And app are not easy to navigate too much unnecessary info. Just give me the ORP section and that’s it!

Touch ID just to see your stupid catalog. Where are the battery backups I registered? I’m suppose to be able to view my UPS status.

mySchneider advertised as a management app for UPS. When I installed it however for my SMT1000c it did nothing for me. It does not show it in a list of managed devices event though it works fine via website. Total disappointment.

I downloaded mySchneider, because the APC website implies that this is what I use to monitor my UPS. Nope, mySchneider is basically just a tool to get you to buy more stuff. As far as I can tell, there is no way to actually interface or monitor your devices from mySchneider.

Prompts for registered products but then reports none registered. I hav registered TEN of these increasingly disappointing products over the years - some registered multiple times.
The software from this company is amazingly poorly designed and maintained including mySchneider.

Great way to search their FAQs and documentation. And if you can't find the info you need through mySchneider , it makes it incredibly easy to contact Schneider directly. I haven't had the opportunity to use the "scan" function yet but I'm interested to see what it can do.

mySchneider is very user friendly and simple! I love being able to pull up helpful FAQs and documents about Schneider Electric products that provide technical knowledge, plus I can access it 24/7 and on the go! I can only hope they will add more to mySchneider for a wider range of support. Until then, calling or emailing the correct support teams to answer my questions will be a breeze!
