I like the concept. It works okay when it connects. The blue tooth signal is sketchy. You have to almost be standing on top of it to stay connected. The response/lag time is slow and choppy. If I dim or raise the lights in vPro , it takes a while for the lights to catch up. This has the potential to be a pretty amazing app. I hope the developer continues to improve the quality.

We have the Visto this app-75X2 since May 2017. Using iPhone 6 with iOS 10 and unable to connect to the unit. When opening vPro I can see the location but cannot connect to it. I use around 8 or so other Bluetooth devices without any issues. My wife's phone (same as mine) worked initially and then 1 month later it stopped connecting just like mine. I called tech support and they suggested to swap the transformer. I just installed the new transformer and running into the same issue. For a $400 transformer this is very disappointing. Not sure what to do next. Might have to return the transformer and get a different manufacturer (Unique maybe)

It’s inexplicable that the basis of this app system operation is a completely open Bluetooth network. Any mischievous party with vPro can mess with schedule and voltage settings.

The only way to “secure” the system is installing the transformer somewhere on the property out of Bluetooth range from any other neighbour and away from the street.

The transformer itself is rock-solid and Vista’s warranty is good.

Always a problem when there is thunderstorm: does not reset automatically as promised. Only the installation pdf comes up when “help” button pressed and it instructs me to unplug snd open unit! What-mine is closed with a dozen screws ! Expensive unit and app is totally worthless!

vPro and lighting system is absolute crap...
it’s never worked properly- I probably should have install my own lighting system & I have no idea how to do it - but I believe it would have worked as well as this app doesn’t... Buyer’s remorse - the review is forcing me to rate vPro/system - I’d rate it zero stars

Not very user friendly. I have the 2 zone model. I have mosquito repellent linked to one zone and lights to the other. Both zones have to have a program. I should be able to program 1 zone only and leave one manual. Both zones have to run. I’ll turn lights off, shut vPro down and the lights turn on. Very confusing. Needs a total revamp. Call me, I’ll help!

I can connect and control the lighting but this is perhaps the worst user interface I've ever used in an iPhone app. It needs to be completely rewritten. The controls that need to be on the same screen are not on the same screen and setting up a preset is simply impossible in my experience.

Settings change sporadically. Lights don’t go on. Or are always on. With no reason. There is little control offered by vPro . Very very frustrating. I’d chose differently if I had to chose again.

vPro used to kick a&$, but since around November of 2016 has been crashing!! It sees signal to my unit, then loses connection.
I have the VP-150 model; Iphone 6plus running IOS 10.2.1.
Give us an update please.

Grade school children can write a better app. You should be ashamed for taking people’s money for a system that performs this poorly!!!

All I get is a splash screen from my iPhone and iPad. Both running ios10. Worthless as I am unable to control the lights.

As soon as I went to iOS 10 on iPhone and iPad, vPro loads no locations. Please help with an update.

Avoid app. VERY POOR

On the iPhone 5s (iOS 8) anyway, it simply does not work. I can only turn lights on or off in the control function and still have to turn them off manually. The scheduling function does not work nor do the presets once saved. I called the local Vista rep and was told that until the programmers resolve this problem he is going to have this line of transformers pulled from distributors shelves! Our transformer (2 location) was $700 installed and vPro does not work!

Once set up properly vPro and transformer work great together. It really needs a longer Bluetooth range because my clients want to be able to access in their home or pulling into their driveway, not only directly next to transformer to set it up. Other then that(which you can get a Bluetooth extension for another $100 :/) everything works perfectly.

Don't buy the this app 150 transformer. The only way to configure it is through vPro and vPro is total garbage. It just doesn't work. It frequently disconnects from the transformer requiring you to plug/unplug the transformer. The timer settings don't work either.

vPro will connect to the Bluetooth transformer for the lighting but it will not control it. I can't dim the lights or turn them on or off. Because my outdoor lights can only be dimmed through vPro, I am stranded unless vPro is fixed.

On iOS 11.0.3. Installed 11/9/17. Dual zone setup, 150watt, 15v. Worked as described first time. Only issue I have is one bug in app: when you select “Exactly at sunrise” for lights off, it changes the lights on to “Exactly at sunset”.

Would also be nice to have a “Do not turn on” choice if for whatever reason you don’t want lights to come on.

I only use the Nightly schedule, but the Sun/Mon, Mon/Tues, etc, scheduling seems a bit odd.

Only thing is it had a problem connecting at first. Took several try's. Now I love this thing. Is their any way to adjust the time that is displayed for the transformer? It is not correct. It also thinks it's 2016
Update 11-20-2014
Transformer stopped responding. Have to unplug and reconnect to power to get it to connect to app. Can't rename transformer. Date and time are still incorrect. Lights are set to be on from sunset to sunrise seven days a week but they stay on 24/7 Sunday thru Wednesday and are off the rest of the week. Vista rep said to replace the transformer. I'll update the review after the replacement.

It appears they do not care how the unit operates after the sell. I am having the same issue as other here. Does not appear they care to fix the issue.
