Most of the function is very straightforward and works well with one exception. When I go into use voice to text software built into the Apple phone it does a pretty faithful job of printing out what I want said. The huge problem is that if I don’t go in and do something with the text using the keypad, even as small as adding a single space, when I go back to the main page it loses all of what I had just dictated. Completely infuriating! If they can fix this one problem they will get a double thumbs up for me.

Worst mobile forms app I have ever used. Constant sessions expired every day. Tap the camera icon to take a pic, only to have to make another selection (totally unnecessary when you could have a camera and a file icon separate to select). Camera button is bottom center screen, ridiculous placement considering a lot of photos are taken with iPads and Tablets making it hard to hold what you’re taking a photo of, tape measure, or a ladder and also the IPad/Tablet and hit the picture button unless you have 3 hands. No option to save photos from a form. Deleting a photo doesn’t completely remove it. I could go on and on, but I already waste enough time using the horrible app.

Every time I submit a picture I have to restart the process of filling out a form. The tower numbers are also not in order so rather than scrolling to my tower I have to look through the list to find the one I need. Oh, and there are three of each tower on the list. It’s also difficult to zoom in on the photo to ensure I chose the correct one from my camera roll. I think it would be simpler if I chose the tower I wanted and uploaded all the pictures required rather than restarting the form for each individual component. I’m gonna use my $60 each month to drink away the pain brought on by FastField.

While cute rounded blocks are appealing, I don’t care what it looks like out in the field doing my job. In reality it is 30-60 seconds for the program to do an update. While I’m standing outside with a wind chill factor of -10 degrees it feels like 2-3 minutes. This update occurs every time I start the program to put in a gig. The drop down boxes won’t show all options when using the iPad horizontally. One of the first times using this, the program went all zeros on the GPS input. Also, if I take a picture with this program, no data is included on the picture (time, date, address, GPS). This might just be a program option that wasn’t included in the training, our company wants this info on every picture put in.

FastField is great for our company. However, there is one slightly irritating thing about it and that is if FastField is in standby for a couple of minutes I have to force close it and restart or else non of the functions work. Please fix this as I go from job site to job site and having to close and reopen FastField every time gets kind of annoying.

Love FastField . I use it everyday with my company and it generates fantastic reports for my customers. I also love the ability to setup the forms however I want making the filling out portion super intuitive for my technicians. I will say, however, I would love split screen support. I use FastField on my iPad and it would make it that much more useful being able to have reference documents on one side and my this app on the other. Please make this happen, then 5 starts from me all the way!

App works well, but there is an issue I hope that you can fix. After a while, every single day, the barcode scanning feature loses the ability to auto focus the camera and adjust for light sensitivity. Which means I need to exit and reopen FastField usually multiple times. Please fix this.

Otherwise this is a good app, it's easy to use and saves time compared to competitors that I have used.

I have been using my reports custom made in this app Forms and they are perfect. I use my cell phone to fill out my report snap a few pics and then submit the report to my customers! Easy! And the report looks nice. I have had the most helpful and patient staff helping me! It’s been 2 years now and I am so happy with this product! Thanks!

Only if there was a next buttons after each photo to get you from one to the next. It would make photo labeling so much better and helpful.

I have been assigned work where third party apps were required.
This one is the most user friendly, well organized and best functioning of any and all I have encountered.

After trying several other apps, I found this one. It works wonderful! Support team is fast and awesome. Only little issue is searching for a report later is kinda a pain but i think it’s more my own issue and not an issue of FastField itself.

What I like about FastField. I’m always carrying around my phone anyway, so this program goes where ever I go too. You don’t need a pencil or note pad because it’s a electronically question
near. When I’m doing my rounds of the property FastField. goes with me. It’s very convenient and allows me to be more efficient with my time management.

I really love the flexibility of the software and how easy it is to use across different platforms. Their customer support team has been super responsive and helpful any time I have reached out. I definitely recommend the software. I am using this to create surveys and feedback forms and I am really happy so far. I work for the worlds biggest beverage company and when people see the name of the company they immediately want to upsell everything. This has not been the case with the this app/Merge Mobile team and it’s greatly appreciated.

I have used FastField/program for my multi location business for over a year now. It takes some learning but once you get the hang of it things come together nicely. The only thing I wish it had was a search box so i could seat h names and bring up old submitted forms. Besides that it is perfect.

Fast Field Forms has been such a huge improvement over paper or fillable PDF’s. The program has tons of flexibility, creates efficiency for us and offered all the features we required. The support team is very helpful and responsive which we really appreciate. I tried out similar platforms and Fast Field is the winner!

When pics are required the option of entering pics from the phone should be allowed. Not all have this option. Some have both the camera and pics, some have camera only. All should have both options.

This application is amazing and so is their support team. The platform is so customizable but in an easy enough format where with a little training and help, you’ll be able to set up complex functions on your own. My customer success manager Eddie Sanchez is super helpful, understands our business concept and what I need without explanation.

Well actually I do have 1 complaint. It was too difficult for me to find this forms system. If you are looking for a FULL SERVICE forms platform, even if you build your own you will not find a better one. Period. The customer support is real support. They will shorten your learning curve to pro level in no time. I have interacted with 4 employees and at each layer of support all have been truly professional.

We are still in the learning process but we are so impressed with the abilities of fast fields and how much it can help automate and organize our business. Our rep Eddie has been fantastic with his help! A true god send for those that a less tech friendly. You can not beat the price and professionalism of this program compared to similar ones we were looking at. Looking forward to utilizing more of their tools to help grow our business and be even better for our customers.

I understand the intent of FastField but in reality I am not onsite for every customer request. I will not drive 5 hours to see a customer just to take 4 photos required to appease this application simply to swap a fountain unit. If I could give a zero star rating I would have rated FastField zero.
