So our family stood there maybe 30 to 40 minutes to be told ParkOmaha is not Apple friendly. We were asked our information probably page ten of a 80 rule notebook of all the Apple users had trouble at the parking garage downtown Omaha Jackson st. Finally the new hour started app started session. Seen the charge posted hard on my account. Two weeks later I get a letter saying I haven’t paid so now I will spend another hour of my life with the proof I was charge from my bank. I feel it should be illegal to also charge a $10 administrative fee. It has to astronomical how much money the city is loosing on double billing all these Apple users who already paid by sending these fraud letters. Next time I will park in a private paid company not the city… life lessons.

I went to put more time on the meter and ParkOmaha wouldn’t work. Conveniently I have only used ParkOmaha once, had it not let me add time, then got a parking ticket 6 minutes after the meter expired. I have literally never gotten a ticket when I plugged the meter with change. It’s like they didn’t let me load more time then sent a meter person to the car upon expiration. I will be deleting and recommend people don’t use.

More often than not, I am unable to use ParkOmaha due to a “Network Error” when I enter the meter number. I have checked to make sure I am running the most recent version of the application and can verify I have no network issues on my end. I’ve provided detailed information to the Contact Us messaging portion of ParkOmaha and have yet to receive any reply whatsoever.

People should be allowed to end their time and be charged accordingly for only the time in which they used.

People pay extra all the time to prevent getting a ticket. The lotted time may be paid for and however the city can double charge another person now for the same hour. For the same spot.
Kinda seems criminal.

Park Omaha is frustrating. Tried to park at the place we wanted to get breakfast and couldn’t pay. No meter nearby and ParkOmaha said zone was unavailable when clearly it was. Tried to call to pay and it says enter parking zone followed by #. Then it immediately gives the first number of the zone as you type it in and says not a valid option. Tried calling someone and that individual told us to go park in another zone. That is not convenient nor a solution for someone that has a hard time walking in our group. Very inconvenient and frustrating. Loss of business for the restaurant and city. Will not be staying in Omaha with a car anytime soon if this is how they run the parking here. Can’t pay but wait we will come by to ticket you if you don’t pay…how convenient.

I've used ParkOmaha numerous time and I'm lucky if it works half the time. Very frustrating to try to park where I do not have change, it does not take a card, and ParkOmaha won't function. I've had it fail to load (today). It crash constantly. Payment info lost and having to retrieve the funds I put into it. I just found out I can use the same functionality on their website and don't think I'll try using ParkOmaha again.

this app used to be slow and clunky but it got the job done. Now that the city has added payment boxes everywhere, the ability to manually enter a zone has stopped working even though the signage says it does. The QR codes also do not work so you are forced to use the payment boxes. Then, when your time is running out, you can no longer extend in ParkOmaha or restart a new session, so you have to leave the restaurant or wherever and go find another payment box. It’s a lot of work for $1-3. Finally, instead of being able to see how much time is remaining in ParkOmaha , you can get a receipt texted but there is no countdown or notification that your time is about to be up. These changes are badly executed and ridiculously inconvenient.

I have to park frequently downtown and I always use ParkOmaha on parking and it always messes up. It worked just fine when I charge my credit card but you wouldn’t let me buy his own cash and save money so you’re just another ploy to still my money stupid Omaha parking people three tickets all your fault and I had to pay them all $16 each. Hate your parking hate your everything!!!!

Since I first downloaded ParkOmaha a few years ago, this is the “progress” that has been made:

You used too be able to just photograph you credit card, and now you can’t.

You used to be able to select the amount of time you wanted to pay for, now you can’t. You have to use a weird slider to pick the time you want it to be finished. It’s awkward and finicky.

The default payment type was the last one you used, now it’s the oldest payment type, which always has just 50 or 25 cents remaining on it. So that means 3 more taps every time you park.

And now once you’ve paid for your parking, ParkOmaha hides the spot you paid for. I suspect this is to keep people’s friends from plugging the meter for them (which really, who cares, the meter is paid), but for those of us who are always paranoid they put in the wrong spot, we can’t check.

But it does work.

I'm able to get all the way to the confirmation page. After selecting yes to confirm, ParkOmaha promptly closes. I go back in, enter my pin and it closes again. I'm not able to see a countdown timer nor does it appear to register on the meter, but it does charge my credit card. This has happened several times and I've restarted my phone, gotten a new phone and reinstalled ParkOmaha .

I don’t use ParkOmaha very often but those rare moments I need it, ParkOmaha only opens to a city picture and refuses to go any further. To fix it I must delete ParkOmaha , redownload it, and log back in. All of which takes several awkward minutes while standing on a street curb. It feels rather unsafe to be distracted for so long :-(

When I can get ParkOmaha to open, it works great. However, most of the time I have to delete ParkOmaha and then download it again in order to get it to work.

It would be convenient to use since I don't carry change, but it is inconsistent at best on my apple iphone 6s ios 12.0

ParkOmaha works fine if you need at least an hour. But often I need less than 30 min and feel angry that I can’t choose to pay for less than an hour. There should be no reason for that limitation and it’s not even like someone else using the spot can use my unused time since the meters don’t reflect payment. I wouldn’t even mind as much if someone else was able to use the time. The way it currently works, the City is able to take more from us than they are due. It’s just wrong.

I’ve using ParkOmaha since 4 years now and it worked great in the past. This past year, I can’t extend my parking time, it keeps going to refresh and try again. It just stresses me out when it doesn’t work and I have to park longer than the two hours. Why in the world did it change to only paying for two hours? It used to be so easy to pay more hours on top of the first two when needed. I’m just frustrated and hope this gets fixed on ParkOmaha. It’s been happening more than once to me.

This is nice and convenient but I would like it a lot more if ParkOmaha actually worked & loaded. It will open but it won't load. Very inconvenient when I'm trying to pay for a meter downtown and can't because ParkOmaha will not load.

It’s really convenient to use. $10 for $9 is a nice perk.

The BIGGEST frustration is that we can’t can’t renew/ re-up the time on the meter via ParkOmaha . In short, it’s one time ease, then you have to walk back and feed the meter. Just let me renew my time on ParkOmaha .

As long as someone is paying do you really care if that car stays there multiple hours?

Anytime I go to downtown Omaha I always use ParkOmaha and never have any issues. It’s nice knowing exactly how much time I have on a parking space, and that I can continue to add time to it if I won’t be back on time. The only suggestion I can really make is once you reserve the spot on ParkOmaha , for the light on the meter to turn green instead of remaining red.

While my friends are searching frantically for change and unsure of how much time we'll have downtown, I pay for my spot with a flew clicks. It's great. Time saving, and I love that you can reload it if you're partying hard or eating dinner and don't wanna walk allll the way back to your car. Fantastic.

Whenever I go downtown I always use ParkOmaha to pay for my parking. And like someone else said too, you can just look at your phone anytime and see how much time you have left right down to the minute.

I love ParkOmaha, my work has daily rate parking for those without a pass. This makes it so quick and easy. Love having to not dig around for spare change.
