this app is dangerous. It exists solely to alert people to the presence of federal immigration officers so they can evade lawful enforcement. This isn’t about safety or community—it’s about helping people break the law and avoid consequences. By hosting ICEBlock, Apple is indirectly aiding those who obstruct justice and avoid arrest. No company should allow tools that interfere with federal law enforcement. Take ICEBlock down.

In my opinion, ICEBlock should be removed from ICEBlock Store, because it obstructs the legitimate efforts of the federal government to enforce existing law.

Apple should remove this from ICEBlock Store, and anyone involved in its development is going to be prosecuted. This is aiding and abetting someone convicted of a crime.

Ice is using this to corral immigrants into choke points.

Downloaded it thinking it was a great idea but it won’t let me post about the ICE Agents that have been harassing people in the parking lot at my job all morning. 🤬

ICEBlock is not working it is sending me notifications but when I open ICEBlock there is nothing there

Avoid if possible. Submissions don’t work

ICEBlock promotes doxxing of federal agents which may lead serious consequences for its developer and users.

I have been getting notifications from sightings but when I open ICEBlock to check it, it doesn’t show any updated information, it shows sightings from hours or days ago only…

First off I’m glad to see ICEBlock. Thank you.

Kinda clunky at the moment and the UI defaults are actually counter intuitive. My suggestion is make it more like a weather map & app or one of the many hiking apps I use. There are SO many enhancements that would make this fantastic. I’d be happy to chat offline either way with the devs.

A few immediate suggestions…

1: Default to the 5 mile (reportable) radius. 1/2 mile is far too little.

2: Default to an unlocked map. Just like Google/Apple etc. maps it centers on current location but pan/zoom is immediately available.

As ICEBlock is new I’m assuming there are very very few users and is the reason why when I zoomed out to the entire country there were NO reported sightings. Disappointing as I’m sure ICE is crawling around everywhere though this isn’t the apps fault.

The concept is amazing and just what we need right now, but it won’t work. Data won’t show up and it won’t let me report a sighting that I am standing 50 ft or less from. Please fix this so I can let the community know where they need to be careful. I need my community to stay safe in this time of federal overreach.

With everything going on right now in this country everyone should have ICEBlock installed to keep themselves and their communities safe.

This is such a needed app. Simple, anonymous, easy.

I just installed it. The only ICE activity I have personally witnessed was their involvement in Landry’s homeless internment camp, but we know there has been plenty more than that in NOLA.

My main concern with it is if supporters of ICE become apprised of it they can flood ICEBlock with false reports, rendering ICEBlock useless.

Also I hope they add an Android app. While I use iPhone, those most directly affected by these raids don’t tend to be Apple’s demographic and are more likely to have Android phones. They should also make it i18n, or at least add Spanish, for the same reasons.

Great language support! I hope they add French and Haitian Creole to it! French because it’s as common a second language to native in as much of the world as English is, and Haitian Creole because for many Haitian refugees Creole is all they speak and read, and it’s needed. If they do speak a second French is more likely than English.

These suggestions are zero criticisms, just ways to make it even more relevant.
