Now let me be frank, I hate Dart. In the last few years bus fares have gone up and up for no reason other than that the company wanted it to increase by 20% by 2020. They don’t realize that the people who ride the bus depend on them to get to work everyday, these prices are getting ridiculous! Right now it’s at 6.00 for a day pass for an adult, minimum wage is currently 7.25 an hour. And I think my biggest issue with it is that it’s the same old bus they’ve always had. Why are we paying for a premium service but instead getting basic? I digress however, because at least GoPass is easy to use as well as very user friendly.

Much much better than the original that was mainly a source of tickets. The this app app is a substantial improvement. I finally stopped checking Google and Apple Maps because the schedules are now accurate. I’ve never had a problem figuring out how to buy a ticket, and if it’s always crashing on your phone, I’d have the phone checked. I use it every week and app’s ease of use and reliability suggest the requirements, coding and testing were complete and well done. I’m grateful for the new and better app and its smooth implementation.

this app has high ambitions but comes up short.

It works well as fare payment tool. Its navigation features are a mess:

—Busses on the street are often not shown in GoPass . This may be a function of technical problems outside of this app (e.g., nonfunctional GPS unit), but it is chronic.
—The next bus feature is inconsistent—sometimes buses in immediate vicinity are shown, sometimes not.
—The arrival time predictions are unreliable. Often buses are shown as arriving a couple minutes before schedule; inevitably, they arrive on or, more typically, behind schedule.
—The feature where you tap on next bus to get exact location on a map often doesn’t work.
—this app and Google Maps information for same bus line can be inconsistent.
—this app navigation recommendations are more “conservative” than Google Maps recommendations. Q seems to overlook options that involve vehicles 5-10 minutes away, which increases predicted trip times.

All these things undermine the effectiveness of this app for customers. This is unfortunate given this app’ ambitions to be a high quality and effective app for public transportation customers in DFW region. With time, hopefully this app will improve.

As a person who has recently moved to Dallas GoPass is a life saver, it helps me manage my time to see which type of ticket I should buy, also it shows the remaining time of the ticket to be used and it is super convenient for people of all ages cause you may lose your printed ticket or the ink may fade but no one will forget their cellphone ever. Plus, it is user friendly.

Expedited tickets for DFW transportation in a jiffy!
GoPass really works fast, convenient without the hassle of finding a ticket vending machine or human interaction. Hopefully in due time a few things should be considered ie: Instead of 1 DAY PASS or 31DAYS PASS....The options MUST change to allow flexibility.
I travel 50% due to work and some days I’ll ride the train 3xs a week, this mobile APP only has 1 day pass because of this I have to purchase tickets every morning for the TRE.
There a few SERVER issues on the train that complicates the purchasing process on GoPass .
I love it because it certainly makes my traveling easier.

I have to be at work by 9. After waking up at 6:30 to catch the bus at 7:30 I don’t get to work till 9:30, especially on the weekends
I get off of work at 5. After waiting in the heat for 45-60 min, a bus might come, and I don’t get home till 9 and it’s GoPass that make the plan and estimates the total time the trip takes to be an hour and a half (it’s always wrong)
GoPass has wrong arrival/departure times for more than a few bus routes and does nothing to let you know whether a bus is coming or not
Busses are usually 5-20 minutes late (if they do arrive) and GoPass will only show you the next arrival/departure time
It’s only useful for ticket purchases at this point

I am not a frequent user of GoPass, but when I do use the DART app it changes almost every time. 1st time the entire app changed from DART to GO and had to delete the old app and add the new app AND setup a new profile as if I was a brand new user. NOW, on the GO app (which I’ve used several times before) has somehow deleted my profile and causing me to end up signing up AGAIN. After signing up, it asked for a PIN that I’ve never had... so I put in what I thought would be a PIN for me and it locked me out after several tries. I just want my profile to remain active no matter how frequent or less frequent I use it where I won’t have to keep setting up as if I’m a new user... ugh!!!! ZERO STARS

I ride the bus to work and take either the train or bus home and I love how easy and affordable it is for me to get around. Before I learned the bus schedule I was spending over $400 a month in Uber’s and Lyfts and now I spend less than half of that! It only takes a few seconds to buy a pass and it’s only a few dollars, I’m extremely grateful for GoPass!

So I bought a Trinity Metro Local Day Pass through this app. I activated it with the assumption that my ticket wont expire til after 24 hours upon activating it. Then guess what- it started counting down 3 hours and 20 minutes until it expires. How dumb and misleading, no information whatsoever regarding the passes. You’d think the genius who thought of making day passes would let you use the ticket for an entire day instead of 1/8 of the day but no, GO PASS had to rip you off your 5 dollars and that’s how they get you. Never get your tickets here and don’t even waste your time downloading this piece of disaster.

Trip planning is better on the website. GoPass doesn’t offer all possibilities and in some cases omits the best one! Also GoPass doesn’t have route maps, those are just on the website.

And favorites are limited to favorite stops, not favorite routes. Being able to save favorite routes as well as stops is what I had wanted from GoPass .

So I still have to use the website. GoPass does make paying easier.

Great way to travel. Pass easy to use, especially for regional travel. One hint: If you get a spinning screen that reads creating pass, turn you phone off then back on. The pass will automatically show up and you can activate it.

This is the first day of downloading GoPass and using it to not only figure out my route to the airport but also pay for the pass online. I’m currently sitting on the train to go to DFW and see that there’s a Dart guest network. Nowhere do I see the password to join it. It should be plastered on every car and also on GoPass . It should be listed in the FAQ as well.

When planning a trip GoPass should prioritize the train stations. For instance if I Statler typing Galatyn it would be great if the search choose galatyn station first. Also the gray color font color in the directions is hard to read.
Also it would it be great to have a saved trip or last trip option.

We need 24 hour transportation and more areas to sit on the routes, especially in front of section 8 Apts like “Hope Valley 61st $ Peoria, where people can’t afford transportation.

However, I appreciate what we currently have. Please ask riders what is needed. Believe me riders know because we are the ones riding. Thank you for TULSA MTTA!

I accidentally bought a extra ticket I didn’t need and activated it on accident. I called customer service an they said they might issue a refund but they also may not. I wasn’t needing nor asking for a refund just possibly a voucher to replace the used one but customer service said they still might not help. Please be aware there return policy is a dumpster fire also customer isn’t helpful at all.

I was going to pay for my ticket using this but then I was signed out of my account just by opening GoPass . Keep in mind I didn’t delete cookies or data or anything like that. I was forced to leave the train and do the whole process of getting my account back.

As of the week of 4/12 GoPass has worked fine the extended zones in the legacy area of plano have worked for me massively since January 24th however this week the golink ride plans and even get dart bus times are none accessible only showing a biking destination time very disappointed some people rely on this transportation system to work and groceries need this fixed ASAP or people will be losing jobs because GoPass supervisors aren’t keeping regular updates to fix scheduling rides

GoPass tends to use a lot of battery time if you don’t manually turn it off. Why not have a user established time delay so that it stops the drain if the user happens to put the phone back in his/her pocket while the ticket is still showing? Or have missed something?

GoPass is very convenient for purchasing passes and pretty convenient in planning my trips. I would like to be able to see where my bus is along it’s route, though. Sometimes I can’t tell if my bus has come & gone or is running late. Usually this happens after work when Dart customer support is closed, so I cannot call to inquire.

Price went up...way up. When there are issues with the trains where you have to end up being shuttled to different stations or a train breaks down delaying you and others DART offers no reparations. Repeat customers buying monthly passes should be given a week free after so many months of consecutive purchasing tickets as a nice incentive. They do things like free rides on New Year’s Eve which is great.

Sometimes my scheduled rides disappear for no reason... you don’t accept walk on’s which causes a problem when you can’t use app or reservations to schedule a ride.. one day last week you had 4 people waiting over 40 minutes for a bus when there was a bus there that driver left w one person on her bus and left 3 others in the heat I called Uber

I love that it saves me time. No more trying to make sure I have the correct change that the machine will accept. The only problem is the DART transit ticket checkers who complain and take my card and walk away with it for awhile to return a few minutes later.

I use the train everyday to get to and from school.
But I’m not able to use GoPass to purchase my discounted ticket.
It is not easy for me to get to the dart office and purchase a monthly student pass because the hours are the same as my class hours.

DART is finally starting to incorporate 21st century features in their app.
Being able “favorite” stops is a great first step. When they narrow that with a specific bus #/route they will on par with other public transportation systems across the country and around the globe.

Got an error message during the final payment verification part of the process. Called customer service. Heard mostly joking in the background for 20 seconds before I got a curt “hello”. The person was rude and not very helpful. I can’t understand why they couldn’t just continue printing them conveniently from the kiosk.
I had to pay for an entire day of regional travel because I couldn’t quickly get a ticket, now I’m 2 hours in to the process of getting my pass. They don’t seem to want to take my money...
