The Bryant Home app was unreliable, buggy, and slow. It was cumbersome to use because of how the UI was designed. This new Bryant Smartphone app takes everything that was bad about the Home app and turned those bad things to 11. The action of simply opening BryantSmartHome to quickly change the temperature on my thermostat, an action that already required force quitting and relaunching the Home app every time I use it, had become even more difficult to perform. 9 times out of 10 when I try to adjust the temperature using the SmartHome app it does not work. Bryant is a disaster. I hate using my Bryant system.

Setting changes in app do absolutely nothing to system. It’s like it’s not connected, except it is. Please bring back former app that at least worked. Also, zone names need to be added on the dial pages.

As an HVAC contractor and a loyal Bryant installer since 1977, I am thoroughly disappointed in your latest attempt to provide a thermostat app. You guys aren’t helping us out here in the field with BryantSmartHome! Please put competency in your efforts and field test your app with contractors before you release more disappointing improvements.

Just got the new system and it is great but BryantSmartHome is not. The schedule doesn’t seem to work at all. The house is always 3-4 degrees below the scheduled temperature. I mean that is the one thing I want BryantSmartHome for. How hard can that be?

Keeps losing WiFi connection then requires re setting the connection to gain access to WiFi.

Absolutely terrible website/app. This is 2025-make it more user friendly. Plus the 1-800 number has too many digits in it!

BryantSmartHome is way worse than the old app.

So much worse and uglier than the old app.

The new app experience is much better! easy to change thermostat temperature remotely.
