Repeated failures

I had issues months ago, Fidelity cust service rep talked about all kinds of things and then said OH, we made a lot of changes to FidelityBank . You need to delete app, reload.
That worked then- but why weren’t we notified we should update app before issues?!
NOW, a week ago same issue, so I deleted and re- added. It worked.
Today, no luck after re- loading app.
Disappointing- need to deposit. I will call bank cust service and complain. We need a real app.

Doesn’t work properly with iPhone 13

I got a new iPhone and ever since it doesn’t always allow me to do facial recognition and I Have to completely log in and it’s a pain. Also once they did the big update it completely got rid of all of my previous settings where I got notifications, so now I don’t get any notifications and I can’t figure out how to Turn them back on with the new update!

Least favorite app

I use multiple banks, and thus have multiple banking apps. This is by far the worst. The issue is mostly with bill pay. I cannot believe how long it takes to load between each payment. Ridiculous. Should not take literally an hour to pay bills, purely due to long wait times while you’re trying to make the next payment. Crazy. And yes, I keep up with the updates, so it’s not that. Fix this, it’s enough to make me want to switch banks! I’ve had this trouble for at least 5 months. Yuck.

Delivery date

The delivery date leaves a lot to be desired, if you’re not careful you can be late on a payment. When you select a date it is really not the delivery date. It’s actually a few days later. My opinion would be to have the date you type in to be the delivery date. And why do you need a nickname to send your comments in?

Just OK

Bill pay is not intuitive. As a Quicken user, it is frustrating how many transaction labels download with inaccurate reference to Fidelity Bank rather than the real payee. I also think that available balance information should be updated to reflect checks that have been written via Bill Pay even though they are still uncleared.

Deposit Check not Working

For the past several months the Deposit Check function is not working properly. I have reported to Fidelity customer service but was told to simply delete FidelityBank and reinstall. This has not solved the issue. I’ll take a picture of the check and it logs me out when I click submit instead of going back to the deposit check screen. Please look into this as it’s very frustrating.

I have to manually sign in every time

It’s so annoying that I have to enter my password every time, this is stupid. When it says faceID is enabled it’s really not! And not only that, every time I log in I have to go through the “what’s new” tabs every time! That’s so annoying! I just want to be able to open FidelityBank and look at the screen then have it take me to my account information. The Bank of America’s app is way better than this! You should fix some of these issues

Hard to use

FidelityBank is not very user friendly! I manually enter any transactions I have done and even ones that I put the check number on FidelityBank adds it to the register again (I use Quicken for my banking at home). I think bill payment is hard to navigate and make changes when needed. Didn't have all these problems @ our old bank.

A little glitchy

For the most part FidelityBank works okay but there are times when it’s glitchy. Sometimes I have trouble with depositing a check through FidelityBank too, which can be frustrating since I live over 20 miles from the nearest Fidelity Bank. It’s convenient but I just hope that they work out all the glitches some day.

It’s ok

The new and improved app doesn’t contain some of the best features of the old app. While it still makes transferring a breeze and allows for easy viewing of transactions, it no longer has an instant text feature. It was nice to see exactly, via text, when a debit card transaction went through and it doesn’t have that option any longer. It also does not have the feature to “turn off” a card. This feature was nice when my card was missing. It gave peace of mind to lock it, so it couldn’t be used in the event someone had it. The new app does not have that and I feel it should.

Lacking an important feature

On the bill pay site, there should be more identification for multiple accounts. My husband and I each have Kohl’s credit cards but since the account numbers are not identified well, I have paid the wrong acct several times. The same applies for the two Chase acts we have… need to show the last few digits of the account numbers so I don’t pay the wrong acct again.
If I open the fidelity site on my computer, it works but I would rather be able to access the information easier from my phone.

Love the convenience

Love being able to continue banking with fidelity since I’ve been with them from high school. I no longer live where there’s one so this is great! Although I’m highly disappointed that the Zelle doesn’t work & no one can figure it out

Accounts order move around

With just a simple swipe the order of my four account’s keep moving around. At least I can now move the text me icon out of the way so I can see my transaction

Log in tedious

I wish it would load & use my Face ID to log in, rather than making me tap, tap, tap to log in. Also, it’s difficult to figure out how to actually connect other bank accounts for transferring money. Took me 3 tries and 2 calls to customer service and days of waiting for deposits that weren’t going to happen. It’s all just clunky. It all needs to be smoothed out so it’s not confusing and time wasting. Capital One doesn’t have these issues.

Good, but…

Of the three bank apps I’ve used over the past several years this one is the best. One thing however I do not understand is why there are two places for bill payment. I also find the bill payment screen a bit confusing. Other than that, it’s very friendly and comprehensive.

I also appreciate the chat feature. Just about every time I used it, I was connected almost immediately to a real person versus AI. Thanks for that feature.

Minor suggestions

A calculator that is easily accessible would be extra nice.

On bill pay, if there was a way to change the date/amount you’re going to send without deleting and re-entering the information. Perhaps, there is a way and I just haven’t figured it out.

Fidelity bank app

One thing that could make FidelityBank better is being able to lookup various interest rates and different accounts. Make it easy to compare rates. Otherwise it’s a very good app.

Good!

I love FidelityBank so much is makes budgeting and saving money so much easier without taking a trip out to the bank! Very simple and I never had a single problem. Very easy to call the bank if you entered the wrong password. The people who work for this bank are some of the nicest nonjudgmental ,sweetest people!

What a great staff, convenient app, and new facility!

We started banking at Fidelity's branch (~21st N and Amidon years ago, and have been pleased with both the earlier and present personal service as well the "recent" major renovations of the customer friendly facility AND the easy to navigate, secure APP! I don't usually take the time to review any business (unless a glaring problem exists) but this is worthy of 5 stars for the dedicated tellers, management, and friendly security! The latter was especially appreciated during construction phase. The convenient location and friendly staff is a huge factor for one with chronic mobility issues, and the positive attitudes are priceless! Thanks for all of your exceptional efforts! You are all appreciated!!!
