The new app is very easy to navigate and makes managing my health plan incredibly simple! I love being able to see my claims on my phone instead of having to pull out my computer every time. Having the ID card available is very convenient at doctors offices and I also like how it’s so easy to find a nearby doctor whenever I need it.

This new version of BCBSTN has helped make my overly-complicated health insurance plan much easier to understand and deal with.
It also seems to have resolved a lot of the issues that some of the negative reviews mentioned. Hopefully they’ll continue to improve the complex web of health care that’s been created!

I love the new app! It has a great user interface and the live chat helps stay up to date. When you switch apps, it disconnects the chat and you have to start again which is annoying when you are trying to get answers. BCBSTN desperately needs the background app refresh function on iOS. If there wasn’t that issue, it would be an 5 stars! Grateful for them investing in the development of BCBSTN and have faith this will be resolved

The new version of BCBSTN makes viewing your benefit information convenient and easy. I love having a digital ID card accessible at any time and also being able to view my progress towards deductible and out of pocket amounts.

Millennial here. I was excited to finally have a digital option for EOB. The opening front page of BCBSTN is wonderful; however, the EOB did not match up with my several of my paper bills. It showed patient responsibility owed $8k on one bill for bloodwork. Even after calling two different this app representatives, I was told I was responsible for the $8k. I did NOT owe that much and the Lab company confirmed the EOB was wrong and misleading. Don’t believe I can trust BCBSTN just yet. So don’t get too excited about having an app… Fix the kinks please.

I’m loving the new app! All the features I need are still there and you added the ability to chat! It wasn’t hard to find anything and seems really intuitive! Excited to use it

The new design is a huge upgrade. The dashboard-type initial page is super helpful and gives most of the info I need. Love the ability to add my ID card to Wallet.

This new version is great and so easy to use. I like the new home screen and being able to chat with customer service.

I was out of town and remembered about BCBSTN. Helped me when I needed care for my little one and was out of state. Great when you’re in a pinch.

BCBSTN offers so much for BCBST members! You have all of your policy benefits available in one place. You can search for in network providers and have a copy of your insurance card right on your phone! The provider can also make a copy of your insurance card right from your phone! BCBSTN makes insurance convenient.

BCBSTN is so frustrating! I signed up months ago, as well as added my daughter. When I went on today, it was just showing my husband and not us. When we tried to add us, it said we already had accounts....yeah, I know! It would not allow me to access a dr at all because it kept wanting me to register....and then would reject it because I already had an account....and so the circle keeps going. I also really do not like the fact that, as far as I can tell, you can’t add your medical history so the dr can see it all on the screen. You have to put in your meds every time you try to talk to a dr. We have had other apps for other “call a dr” and they were easy to use. This one is horrible!

Reasonably useful. Not really necessary. I deleted it because I can access everything easier on my computer so I have no need for it on my phone. The Face ID feature is absolutely laughable. It asks to use it before you’ve ever logged in for the first time and then glitches out because it doesn’t know what account to log into. And you can’t turn it back on after you’ve logged in because there’s nowhere to access that setting. Overall just kinda meh. It’s alright.
