Millennial here. I was excited to finally have a digital option for EOB. The opening front page of the app is wonderful; however, the EOB did not match up with my several of my paper bills. It showed patient responsibility owed $8k on one bill for bloodwork. Even after calling two different BCBSTN representatives, I was told I was responsible for the $8k. I did NOT owe that much and the Lab company confirmed the EOB was wrong and misleading. Don’t believe I can trust the app just yet. So don’t get too excited about having an app… Fix the kinks please.

I love the new app! It has a great user interface and the live chat helps stay up to date. When you switch apps, it disconnects the chat and you have to start again which is annoying when you are trying to get answers. The app desperately needs the background app refresh function on iOS. If there wasn’t that issue, it would be an 5 stars! Grateful for them investing in the development of the app and have faith this will be resolved

The new app is very easy to navigate and makes managing my health plan incredibly simple! I love being able to see my claims on my phone instead of having to pull out my computer every time. Having the ID card available is very convenient at doctors offices and I also like how it’s so easy to find a nearby doctor whenever I need it.
