I got this app to listen to the Ticket while driving. 2 problems with it:
1. I used the app sporadically over the course of the week. This app somehow consumed over 7 GB of data from streaming 2-3 hours of audio. So now my data has been completely used for the month and I don’t get internet. What in the world was this app doing in the background to consume 7 GB of data?
2. When I listen to the app via Bluetooth in my car, when I turn my car on the app automatically opens and starts playing audio and using data! Even if the sports day app is completely closed out. And when I turn my car off the audio continues playing on the speaker on my phone. The only work around I’ve found is to uninstall the app and re-download it when I want to listen to the ticket again.
Stealing people’s data like this is terrible, if that isn’t a violation of Apple’s Terms of Service it should be.
The way the developers configured the app to secretly open in the background and auto play is incredibly annoying and unethical.

I suspect this app drains the battery unnecessarily compared to other streaming audio apps.
Also, the host pictures are awful. They look were clearly done as cheaply as possible. The Photoshopping is amateur-level, and the pictures haven’t been updated in years. Photoshop is supposed to make people look better, not worse.
The segment titles are frequently wrong. It will say “Dallas Stars vs. Team X” a week after that game was played. They should just give up on segment titles. The segment titles frequently have too much text to be properly displayed anyway.

If you’re not on Wi-Fi then the app struggles. My Wi-Fi I use at work is around 18d/18u so it’s nothing to write home about. My drive to work (between 35-60 minutes) I get 5G and at times is over 400d. The app still struggles when not on Wi-Fi. I’m guessing the app creator should find a better way to buffer the stream because when I’m paused or rewinding/fast forwarding the app struggles. I also use the XM app and it handles those situations much better. The Ticket will start to lose some listeners to The Freak if we get frustrated because we can’t stream The Ticket. Fix this %$!& Rich!
