purple (game) Reviews

It takes most level concepts from Orange (i.e. drag on the number, the bar puzzles, and the last level) and Blue (i.e. the ones where you have to bring down a part of the screen using something). It feels a bit like “Here” by Techyonic rather than a game where you make the screen one color. There’s also no thematic element (for Red you had bricks and hearts, for Black you had the lights and the levels with the blocks, for Blue you had fish and water, for Green you had plants and the exit sign, for Pink you had flamingos and the lollipop, and for Orange you had oranges, carrots, construction, and the fox) such as grapes. You had rabbits, but they only appeared for two levels. The outro is quite a downgrade from the previous game’s. The music is good, though, and there were still some creative levels concepts like combining primary colors and the Piksels-esque levels. 7.5/10.

P.S. I’d like to be able to turn off sound and music individually. I also want some replayability in these games such as bonus levels or a timed mode where you beat the game as fast as you can. Hopefully the 9th color uses such features (assuming there is one).

I love the whole series of the different color gamess! They're all so good and it actually makes me think really hard on some of them 💜 was so exited to see this new one pop up on my AppStore

Thanks for your reply! I understand level 19 now! Also I like how this game is a bit different yet similar to others in the series. I’ve tried to use hints, but they don’t work despite me clicking the “Update Consent” button in the settings menu. I’ve had to go thru the entire game till level 48 hintless :(. Anyway if you could tell me about the hints thing that’d be awesome.

Another amazing color game! This one has a lot of logic puzzles so I had lots of fun figuring them out (especially 48). I bought the premium unlock as well to support Bart's games. Could not recommend more :)

I love the new background music, and the puzzles are neat and different from the last couple games. Gosh, i’m already having so much fun with it. Loyal to your puzzle games🫡

I really like this series of colors and immediately started playing “purple” when I noticed it was released! I suggest you to add “brown” and “white” too in the future. Keep up the good work Bart!

I always get excited when I new one comes out since Blue was released and I haven’t missed one!

I love these games however level 21 is bugged out to where I can’t press to do anything

I love this game so far and will try all the other ones but I need help on level 20

I really love this game but I’m like stuck on 22 and I watched all the hints but I don’t get what the hints mean and I’m just stuck and there’s like no skip button or something and I can’t really play it because I would still be stuck on that level. Otherwise I love it a lot. Thanks for reading!!!
