App connects fine.
App works to turn pump and heater on/off.
App works to see current temp.
But most importantly, the timer in BestwayConnectSmartSpa does not work. Every now and then the timer will work ONCE after setting it up but never again. Calls to support are useless. I’ve called them 5-6 times and each time they claim they know nothing about BestwayConnectSmartSpa timer not working. Hogwash. Be better.

BestwayConnectSmartSpa will not find the spa at all. No amount of deleting and resetting and turning off all devices connected to the router or being within 2.1 meters or anything else will work. The help videos are useless and the documentation that comes with the spa/app are as well. Good luck with this. I hope the company paid the developers very little for this as whatever they paid was wasted.

BestwayConnectSmartSpa is handy for remote control, but the main reason I use it is to set a timer so I don’t need to leave my pump running all the time. Sadly, the timers do not work consistently. They’ll work fine for a couple of weeks and then they just stop working, and then they start again. Customer Service is pretty responsive but they don’t have a good solution.

The worst part is that it doesn’t automatically resume its program when power is restored after an outage. It also loses WiFi frequently and there’s no notification of communication loss. Either way, we have to monitor it manually on a daily basis so we can turn it back on or reconfigure WiFi to keep the tub hot.

I agree that BestwayConnectSmartSpa needs work, however I have not had any issues with connectivity or anything else… except the timer, with that being said the timer has consistently worked for me but I find the setting between the heater and filter difficult to deal with. The filter must run for a minimum of 8 hours a day. And the heater is optional depending on your desired temps and usage. I run my heater from 1400 to 2200 hours, for a desired temp at 104 during the winter months. that’s “2 pm to 10 pm” and my filter from 2 pm to 1030 pm. I do this because the heater must be off for the filter to turn off, if the heater is running the filter will run. And when the heater turns off the filter will continue to run. Even if they’re both set to turn off at 10:00 the filter won’t. Make sure your filtration turns off after your heater turns off for the day. For what it is “a $600 dollar hot tub” I’d say it’s worth it. And works as expected.

We have been able to do everything we want with BestwayConnectSmartSpa , other than to get it to repeat. We have found that no matter what type of timer we set, it will only work once.

We think we have tried every possible variation, with the same result.

I gess I just need to get acquainted with this Jacuzzi sauna very good didn’t think I was gonna like the blowup Jacuzzi, but I do

It does what I’ve wished for before there even was an app capability. It has worked reliably, no complaints.
My only wish is for a timer for heating, so for infrequent usage we can schedule, or on demand, to heat for certain amount of time then shut off.

Bought this Hot Tub a year ago and it was so easy to setup. We have been using it all year and so easy to maintain and keep the heated up. The only short coming is that the high temp is 104 degrees. It is also very durable and sturdy and comfortable to sit.

Love that this has an App to help me get the best from my hot tub. Had another one that didn’t have this option and we didn’t keep it for long.
