Boy oh boy where to begin this is the worst headset I have ever purchased in my life you’re honestly better off with a cheap 20$ one that actually works when it comes out of the box. If you’re on Xbox like me the headset will not allow you to talk to anyone!!! I’m using the Arctis Nova 1 and the microphone straight up just doesn’t work I hope someone uses your company to the ground.

Why would SteelSeriesArctisCompanion not work with the most expensive pair of headphones they make.
Reply: the insight isn’t in the description it’s in the fact that your app should work with your most marketed pair of headphones it’s the ones YOU encourage the consumer to buy the most with your ads so if it’s supported by marketing why not support it with also getting use out of your companion app.

Total disrespect and neglect to your customers. SteelSeriesArctisCompanion should have been created for the Nova Pros as they are your high end headset. It’s an insult to your customers. The fact that you may extend it in the future is unacceptable. It’s ok to do it for the 5, but Nova pro should have been included. Are the adults still in charge at SteelSeries? Asking for a friend?

When I got these headphones I liked the versatility of being able to game and use my phone at the same time. However, when connected to my phone, SteelSeriesArctisCompanion does not support the Nova 7's, which doesn't allow me to get the full experience of these headphones on my phone.

Why is there no app for a $300 headset?

Also why does this headset beep every 6 seconds, yes 6 seconds, on low battery. Its not even low either! Its at 20%, that's like 2 hours of battery life… There NEEDS to be a way to disable that. It causes the headset lose hours of playtime.

When I payed $300 I expected a bit more than this...

Bought the arctis nova 5s test and have had persistent issues connecting to SteelSeriesArctisCompanion . Constantly becoming unconnected and then getting stuck at the connection screen upon reinitializing the connection. SteelSeriesArctisCompanion is also zoomed in on iOS so you can’t even really use it when you do connect.

Literally EVERY time I try to play, my headset doesn’t work because it needs an update. I have limited time to play. To make the whole headset cease functionality over an update is nonesense to me. While the sound quality is great, I can’t use it a majority of the time when I want to play because updating every single time I need to use it is inconvenient. I’m glad that the headset gets updated, sure, but I wish it didn’t make the headset unusable when there is one. My phone still works when it’s out of date. Why can’t my headset?

App works great, no problems with the functionality or anything. The problem is the list of game presets doesn’t seem to get updated when Sonar gets new titles added regularly. It’s pretty disappointing since I love my Arctis Nova 5’s otherwise!

every single time you turn on tbe headset, you need to switch to Bt mode in order for SteelSeriesArctisCompanion to connect to the headset, even tho the headset IS actively connected to the phone via BT as you can see in BT setting. same thing if you accidentally close SteelSeriesArctisCompanion , well you have to switch back to BT mode in order to use SteelSeriesArctisCompanion to just anything.

Althought it is a pretty good app to use for my Nova 5. It does have some bugs in it. (I mainly play on Pc, R6, COD, etc). There is a bug currently that has the screen zoomed in, I am unable to use any sliders or go to the settings because of it. If this was fixed, SteelSeriesArctisCompanion would be better, and the sliders sometimes don’t work. Otherwise it’s a good app for the headphones.

I love everything about steelseries and recently finally made the move to Nova Pro Wireless. While I do use Sonar. Most of the time I thought SteelSeriesArctisCompanion would be good for console stuff and BT, however, it appears it only works for the Nova 5 and earbuds. It will not link or find the Nova Pros. I do have the Bluetooth working just connected standard but SteelSeriesArctisCompanion will locate the headset even with a reset and removing from Bluetooth in phone setting, just will not work

It only works for the arctic nova five, which is an issue (for me at least) because I have the seven, it would be incredible if only I could use my headset on here.

Hello, I would like to say SteelSeriesArctisCompanion is actually an great app. my problem has occurred as there is no apps compatible with the arctic nova 7x. So this is not a typical review to leave a bad review and mean comment. I am rather trying to ask if there is any apps for the arctic nova 7x. And with that said I also to leave a fair review for y’all since I do know you have all worked hard on this.

SteelSeriesArctisCompanion is amazing, literally seamless no problems, but now my app is like zoomed in and not fit perfectly in my screen. Other than that SteelSeriesArctisCompanion is great.

Will y’all ever plan on adding compatibility with the steel series Arctis 7x? I’ve been trying to find a way to tune the audio for a while.

Good app overall but the most recent update mentions a “Volume” widget - which I cannot seem to find anywhere. Was this an error in the notes or was that mentioned feature missed?

SteelSeriesArctisCompanion is great and easy to use. I was able to use the different presets from Sonar for when I game on console.

Definitely tunes the audio to hear certain things better in game.

I love this headset it’s amazing but one flaw is that I don’t have a pc to get y’all’s so software I checked out SteelSeriesArctisCompanion and I couldn’t find support for other headsets please do this

Idk if it’s a bug or what but everything on SteelSeriesArctisCompanion is zoomed in so you can’t really see what your doing
