As a USA veteran with a Military Intelligence background I can honestly say that RT news does not try to miss lead or bend the news. Most of the stringers that they hire are US Citizens that just happen to be in the area where something is going on. Writers can sell their stories to CBS ,NBC or who ever. RT just picks up the stories faster and sends them out. I don’t feel that they can or would harm the US.
As a news service they are top notch, fast and always where the news is happening. They are the first news app that I read throughout the day.
Give them a try and make up your own mind.

While RT is most certainly not balanced, they at least make no pretensions to be. RT wears its heart on its sleeve, so to speak, which is a nice change from the farcical attempts at objectivity made by other news outlets. They feel no need to tow the line of the official Western sources, which means readers can often get a more truthful side of a story. On the flip-side, they do feel the need to tow the line of the Russian government. Like any news source, an intelligent, rational reader should be able to easily discriminate between good reporting and blatant propaganda.

Help - lately my iphone 4 is having problems with RT. It crashes constantly after I read a few articles or immediately on returning to open tab? It has worked fine in the past? Has there been a recent update to cause this? How can I archive my bookmarks off the iPhone and consolidate them from multiple devices?

Much of RT's news items appear sourced from diverse western media outlets- with easy links to verify source. Provide a great variety of news coverage and expose the blatant propaganda manipulation of the western mainstream media. Best news aggregator I have found.

After using RTNews for over 2 years now i have been really impressed. I will admit i was skeptical at first, they are russians, wink wink lol. But the amount of reporters they have across the globe from all countries and regions makes it very hard to be biased and even harder for corporations and govt to control all of that. The articles are very well written and get very detailed on things the msm misses, because they are told to miss things. RT is an amazing news agency and you should at least give them a chance. It may open your eyes a little.

You have WONDERFUL people with open minds and hearts who really care about our world.
You can tell they are well educated but same way simple people. They know the true meaning of bringing information to is own people.
They really Question More.
And one more thing I love is that most of them are AMERICAN citizens, with it, I just see that they do not pretend to disgrace our country but give a critical real look and help ourselves to understand what is going and work United for changes in pro of majorities.

RT is interesting, Theyre really good alternative, I’m surprised it’s free, because CNN wants you to sign in when viewing their live stream, If you are have a critical mind, You will spot that sometimes RT has someone bias Short quotes, but for the most part they have a great sense of humor specially their anchors... I also like their documentaries, and their granting freedom to broadcast without censorship to real journalists like : Jimmy dore show , Ron Placone was attending RT before, I was surprised because he’s a Democrat progressive Democrat, anyway I’m glad it’s there, because the world should be polarized , separation of powers at least

RT. is the best news source that we have ever had in the USA. RT is honest, and interesting and cares deeply about the world. It covers all of the important topics that we need to know. It is far better than all the fake news, lies and crap that we get from nbc, cbs and fox. RT journalists are sincere and very hard working. They are to commended for their devotion and the risks that they take to bring us the news. A big hug and thanks to all the RT staff for making the news possible.

This is what journalism should be about: prompt delivery of diversified unbiased content of high quality.
RTNews boasts both great content and great presentation of it.
After I got it, this become my news up of choice.
To the developers, just one note: there is some delay on the downloading of some of the content. I understand it must be matter of the resource capacity on your servers, which will hopefully grow, since the popularity of this awesome app will undoubtedly grow, so this won’t affect my 5-stars rating.

When looking for news from different perspectives, RT is an excellent choice. With breaking news from around the world or closer to home, RT is quick to report. I have noticed they are very good about disclosing their sources of information, making it easier to verify each source of information they post. I have been paying close attention to world events for many years and I highly recommend RT to anyone looking for quality news or wishes to diversity their news sources.

Living in the US, most (if not all) national news, including cable news channels, are mostly opinion and editorialized journalism. It dangerous in my opinion, to national unity and international dialogue. RT delivers well crafted fact based news with very well marked stories that ethically should be labeled as opinion only. CNN and most American media are fake news-not stating always false-facts, but selling editorializing and “expert panels” as gospel. Not so. I’m an international attorney, and I feel RT is a great source of my information needs.

Firstly I am, “Hispanic or Latino.” Now, like many, I too, now mostly watch the news through your outlet. Having said this, I want to know why I’ve heard just about the whole world, meteorites even, but seldom anything about the country of Russia, other than the obvious reports. ¿What’s going on in Russia? Some state sponsored persecution maybe? Which violates Russia’s own constitution, international law(specifically ECHR) and standards imposed/recommended by the Venice Commission to legislation on extremism. ¿ why is such topic hardly being covered?

This is the most accurate news currently out there.
Why the negative press lately? Easy.
In the 90’s after receiving millions of dollars, then president Clinton made it legal for the media to be a monopoly.
All newspapers, magazines, and news stations were all run by a small handful of corporations.
This made it so that the powerful could control the media, and the public would only ever hear one singular narrative.
With the rise of cell phones, and the internet, people began to gain access to more information.
When we would notice an injustice, we had the ability to contact millions of others to let them know.
The powerful lost control.
The only way to regain it is to eliminate news sources that tell ugly truths by calling them “foreign entities”, and by silencing millions of voices with the end of net neutrality.

I really don't give reviews I'd say this is my second one since first owning an iPhone which was 9 years ago. RT is the realist news out there, they are criticized and underrated and deserve a lot more instead the top American politicians want to silence these people because they want to expose the truth out there.

I know there is a lot more going on that we deserve to know. RT will provide you with the most out of all these "media" outlets.

RT America has evolved to a somewhat slimy version from its old self with kindergarten-type narratives from the likes of Scotty Nell Hughes (who sounds worse than tRump reading from a TelePrompTer with her childish inflections). Hughes is playing the dumb conservative and does so very well with opinions that do not matter for persons who turned to RT for real journalism in the past. Coupling that with sleazy screw the people out of their money commercials, RT looks like it is evolving into US MSM that people shunned and found solace with RT.
Some great programming still but will get my news from another RT network and other networks. I miss the old RT America’s news crew and their professionalism.

I really enjoyed the coverage of stories that other news agencies either miss or choose not to cover. When a story takes place in the “east meets west” arena, you have to keep in mind that it will have a pro-Moscow slant. When RT (formerly known as Russian Television) lost me was when a story stated as fact that the aggressive United States invaded Korea and Vietnam. Really? They could have approached that from another angle instead of attempting to re-write history. In summary, the stories are generally good, but keep in mind the inherent bias of the author while reading.
