I enjoyed using Spoolstock for the first few months and found it to be an invaluable tool. I couldn’t say enough good things about it. But they’ve been more focused on adding features than making sure Spoolstock was stable. It’s totally unusable in its current state (2.5.5). You can open Spoolstock and complete one function then you have to close Spoolstock and restart it. If you attempt to scroll forget about it, not gonna happen. It freezes and locks up more than it works. Extremely disappointed. Wish they had left it alone. It was fine the way it was. Don’t waste your time putting 100+ rolls of filament into an app, then rely on it to keep track of what you have, it makes it tough to move to a new app. I would suggest you move on at this point until these bugs are worked out.

Looks really promising specially for hobbyist. But the fact that I can’t copy past a password from my password manager is a bad sign. Plus the login screen is a bit off. When you try to log in the name of Spoolstock is covered from a the Dynamic Island. Seems like a bit of an oversight. Just coming from the UX/UI. Not going to write my password down and login with my secure long password. No thanks

Great app minus it crashing non stop which is extremely annoying especially while you are in the middle of adding filament. Paid for the year and very disappointed. What would it cost to make Spoolstock actually usable?

I've spent most of the morning entering my filament stock. Sometimes it works great, but other times I'm met with blank screens and loading symbols. I have to shut down Spoolstock and try again. A bit frustrating, but once I've got it all entered I'm hopeful that'll lessen.

Excellent way to keep track of filament. Had visual cues, data, and graphs and charts for filament quantities.

Had an issue with the subscription service and the devs responded immediately. It ended up being my end. Great customer service.

Edit: They still have not fixed the constant app crashing.

Absolutely a must have app for anyone who has more than 10 rolls o filament

This is such an amazing Solution for keeping track of spool collections. Highly recommend Spoolstock.

Spoolstock is something you never realized you needed or wanted, but once you use it, you can’t live without it!

I have used many ways to inventory my filaments, but this is the best one I’ve used so far. I really like how you can print labels with QR codes directly from Spoolstock . This makes it so much easier to just scan the spool to find it in Spoolstock . Using Spoolstock, along with a scale, it’s easy to keep track as to how much filament you have so when planning a project you can easily see if you have enough filament or if you need to order more. Speaking of ordering filament, its also very easy to order filament from Spoolstock . When inputting a new spool you add the web address for ordering it. Then you can just click and go right to the website to order more. Spoolstock is a Godsend if you have a large filament inventory!

Spoolstock is super helpful for me to track my filament usage for prints. It is awesome that it automatically calculates the cost of the print (even for multicolor prints). The cost per print is my favorite feature for accounting purposes.

Love the ability to inventory all my filaments and quickly see what colors, materials, and quantity I have. It’s better than I expected and will continue to use it. Trust me it’s the best filament inventory app out there. I tried them all before I found this one.

Wife and I started 3d printing in the beginning of 2024. We wanted something simple to track filament and prints. Well…this app entered the chat and I know I couldn’t be more happier. Super simple to enter info and track quantity of everything. Find successful or failed prints with ease. Even better…inventory tracking! The team that worked on this are an amazing group of individuals! Keep it up!

I started using this about a year ago and have loved it. The recent changes to this version initially changed a few features I used with regards to inventory locations. I reached out to the dev and they listened and responded to my feedback then implemented a new Inventory tab that is more usable and functional that what I had suggested! Very happy with Spoolstock overall and love how responsive the developer is!

Spoolstock has been a so helpful! I have become a filament hoarder and it makes keeping up with all my “precious” inventoried so I know what I have in stock or what I need to reorder! Love that you can have locations so you know exactly where to look when you need to pull a roll to print. Such a timesaver! And the developers keep adding new features that make it even better. I can’t say enough good things about it! If you on the fence about Spoolstock…jump off and get it!

If you’re tired of ordering filament that you already have because you don’t have a proper inventory, then you need to get Spoolstock. I have over 50 rolls of filament, and keeping track of what to reorder is a task. Spoolstock is very intuitive and easy to use. It will track inventory, print labels, organize and sort, all on your phone. I love the pictures and the way it keeps track of separate spools and Brands. Really well designed and worth the price.

If your looking for a aesthetically pleasing app to organize and store your filaments this is Spoolstock .
I used the original version as well and it work well but this version they released is a great stride from the original. It works well and has all the info you need stored in it and to easily find it you can print labels for the filament and it takes you right to it in Spoolstock . Makes it easy to keep track of the product left on the spools as you can add the prints into Spoolstock and it will track it all for you. The best part is they are adding and updating Spoolstock daily to make it even better.

Spoolstock has completely changed the way I organize my filament inventory. I’ve immediately started using their label printing feature to tag my spools properly. While Spoolstock is already incredibly useful, I love that the developers are continuously improving it. They listen to feedback and are actively making it better. There are a few small things I’d love to see improved (like slightly more intuitive navigation in certain areas), but overall, this app has become an essential tool for my 3D printing workflow.
