Difficult!

This is my first time and this is incredibly difficult trying to access my tickets. It is impossible for me to be able to share tickets because I don’t know how to do it with the friends that we are going with. So now all six of us are going to have to show up together. And every time I try to call this app I keep getting messages.really really need to improve the system!

Missing tickets

Be sure to check that ALL of your tickets show. Many of mine were missing. What garbage!!!

Absolutely atrocious App

Can't hardly imagine how to make it more difficult, confusing, and time consuming to use.

Terrible

Possibly the least intuitive, least user friendly, most confounding bug-ridden app I’ve ever used.

Ben Belkind

You couldn’t have made it harder to communicate with you.

Tickets were not forwarded to my app

I cannot explain how frustrating your app is.

I can no longer go the event on 8/11 and a mutual friend found another friend who would like to go. I was unable to forward.

THEN the tix weren’t even posted to my app “within seven days”. I had to call and they “forced” the ticket posting.

I would have been so much easier to have them post at purchase so u know all is taken care of.

I actually go to this app several times a year. I’ll be going to Princess Bride and thought about becoming a member in order to have early access. (I have done so in the past)

When I called a month ago to look for my tickets I was told members get their tickets early.

NOW I’m not going to buy a membership- IN ORDER TO GRT TICKETS I PAID FOR? That’s ridiculous. I’m thinking hard about a membership- I’m still bothered that I have to pay extra to access my tix and and I’m thinking I’m not giving the org one dime more than I have to.

So great. I can finally forward the ticket to the woman who has been asking before I leave town.

Tickets

I hate being forced to use Apple wallet.

Poor compatibility with website passwords

The password for the website didn’t match up the password expected when using Ravinia . They need to work on making them work seamlessly if they aren’t allowing a print at home option. After 3 attempts, they locked me out of my account (despite app saying I had 6 attempts. The lockout happened after I entered in the temporary password they emailed me to reset my password. Now I have to call tgem to unlock my account.

Forced App

Ridiculous that I have to put Ravinia on my phone to get to my ticket.

App fails to transfer tickets

Ravinia often fails when transferring tickets to others. The box office solution recommends the ticket holder to send screenshots images to recipients. Then why bother with an app?

This app has no point

You can easily email e-tickets to purchasers that they can simply share with their guests. Forcing every ticket holder to download Ravinia, create a login, just to access tickets is a ridiculous waste of your patrons’ time and your marketing department’s resources. MAYBE it would be a worthwhile download IF Ravinia allowed users to share their location so that members of their party can find them in your gawdawful venue AND if you could order food/beverage to be delivered to your spot or picked up without having to stand in your ridiculous line and then try to navigate back to your group in the dark.

Terrible

Flowing up on the train wreck of trying to get tickets, this app now has the steel ones to demand I put their app on my phone to access my tickets. An app which cannot log me in, nor find my email address-- which is the email address this app sent Ravinia demand email to.

Such a clusterfk. There's no excuse. Ravinia experience makes this the last time I'll attend an event at this app.

Poor UX/UI

Please improve the user interface and the user experience.
To improve the UI/UX of this app APP, consider the following takeaways:

1. Simplify Navigation: Ensure that the navigation menu is intuitive and easy to use. Group similar content together and use clear, concise labels for menu items.
2. Enhance Mobile Experience: Optimize the site for mobile devices with responsive design. Ensure that all features are accessible and functional on smaller screens.
3. Improve Performance: Reduce page load times by optimizing images, using efficient code, and leveraging browser caching.
4. Clear Call to Actions: Make call-to-action buttons (like “Buy Tickets” or “Donate”) prominent and easily accessible. Use contrasting colors and strategic placement.

Unnecessarily complicated

Utterly ridiculous that they force you to download an app for tickets. Just email them.

Can’t read ticket names

Ticket names are squeezed together, so you cannot read them.

Not thrilled

Ravinia is not priority on my phone, annoyed I have to use space on my phone to go to the festival once this summer.

Password reset isn’t super clear directions and I spent a longer amount of time than preferred to access tickets.

The icon is also kinda ridiculous, because it assumes everyone remembers which icon odd this app. It needs a label!

I suggest offering a web access option food tickets because this process was too long. The 6 attempts option also is unnecessary.

Only good for tickets

Everything else opens in a browser. Tickets aren’t easy either - purchased an additional ticket for a performance and it never populated in Ravinia - had to use Apple wallet to receive. Not worth the space it took to download.

Could Be Loads Better

Love the idea of Ravinia but am mystified by the absence of relevant information. I should be able to go to Ravinia and see what time parking and the gates open, for example. If we’re going to be forced to download Ravinia and create an account just to get tickets to shows, then please make it worth our while and create an app that’s useful and easy to use (super glitchy when I try to access tickets). Also, and a bit separately, not sure I understand the rationale behind withholding tickets until the week of the show. I buy tickets on Ticketmaster and other sites and in most cases, they’re available to me immediately. That should be the case with this app as well.

Ravinia-why only IPhone & Apple Pay

App only works with Apple Pay:(
Why not on Androids

Tickets

Very difficult to buy tickets!

Download is cumbersome

Having an App is great, but transferring tickets is VERY cumbersome. I use a windows laptop, I prefer my laptop over my iPhone and my iPad. 1) I cannot download Ravinia on a Windows machine. 2) sending a code and requiring all people to download Ravinia is also cumbersome- some people only come to one or two concerts a year - everyone already has too many apps on their phones. 3) transferring one at a time is also cumbersome- you realize that many COUPLES attend concerts. 4) Screenshots of tickets are ok, but again, one at a time is cumbersome- the problem with phones and iPad is that there is no way to build files to organize all tickets. Suggestions - 1) is there a google app that can be downloaded on a windows machine? I am not transferring that many tickets- another couple for 3 shows, and their 3 adult children for one of those shows to celebrate a birthday . You make it very difficult.

New app difficulties

Love this app in general, it’s the best! Having a learning curve trying to figure out how to share the tickets I’ve purchased on my account. Thank goodness I didn’t wait til the show date so I can send my friends their tickets.

Looks nice, minimal information or capabilities

Ravinia has a very polished look and easily allows you to buy tickets and save events to a wish list. However, there is no way to sort or filter the events by genre or venue. Clicking on an event gives you no description other than how many days remain until the concert - none of the information about the artist or event you find on the this app website.

Clunky navigation

Could be good. Main issue is navigating in the My Tickets area of Ravinia . The events you bought tickets for take awhile to load in. I walked away, did some chores, & it still took a minute to load. From there, scrolling through your events & navigating takes quite some time. If you’re handling a large amount of events, navigating around feels very slow.

Needs a little help

It didn’t work at first. It keep telling me all my new passwords i put in weren’t working but I just tried again the next day after deleting and reloading Ravinia and then it worked. Maybe I was doing something wrong. I still prefer a paper ticket as I know me and many people are not tech savvy and may not have access to this technology. Now I just have to pray I can get Ravinia open and working on the day of concert. This is way too much anxiety for me. I probably won’t be going to another concert again because of those. Us older people are really not ready for this paperless new world.

Amazing app!

Ticket sharing feature worked really well!! Very user-friendly!

Ravinia rocks and has for decades

this app remains my bride and my favorite date place. Wonderful venue, setting, music and more!
My first concert was Procol Harem in 1969 or 70, and was fortunate to see Janis Joplin in I believe 1971. We’ve been to scores of concerts over the decades. Shine or rain…. usually shine.

Moving to this millennium, this Saturday we will see James Taylor. Again! Our staff is always helpful on site or on the phone-email. This year so far the help has come from Brianna and Grace.

this app rocks!

Advance in the process

Until this year you have to log on to the website .
This year’s change is welcome.
Tickets download to phone and accessible to app.

Thank you for the upgrade .

Shalom
