PetSafe simply refuses to connect, asked for my WiFi name and password, as well as my location citing that i need to connect to a hotspot. However this is far from the worst of it there is another app from the same company with all there other products aside from this one, how illogical could one company be to split apps, especially when asking for private information while only having 5 now 6 reviews. It still hasn’t connected, however the litter box does function properly from the seems of it.

Not only that is the stinkiest litter box ever (I also have another selfie cleaning litter box which doesn’t smell at all), PetSafe is full of glitches. Randomly my litter box is now on “standby mode” and there is no way to fix that. I can’t turn it on or off, can’t access settings, nothing.. in the meanwhile the litter is sitting there smelling my whole room

Please fix the issue where if you add litter PetSafe says “cat insider litter box” indefinitely and stops automatically cleaning. Only way to fix it is by unplugging and replugging in the litter box.

PetSafe is lacking in features that I think should have been thought about and I think are a MUST add to PetSafe . They should have implemented the ability to change the modes on the product(smart spin) from PetSafe versus having to try and use the physical buttons on the product. For instance right now I am trying to recalibrate the weight tracking and the only way to get to that mode is to hold down the WiFi/reset button and the clean button at the same time and it’s suppose to got into the mode. Instead it either doesn’t change at all, or the “pet is inside” indicator goes off from the pressure from holding down the buttons and doesn’t do anything, or when you get tired of holding down the buttons and let go it goes into a cleaning cycle and you have to wait for it to finish before trying again it is extremely tedious and aggravating. If I can start a cleaning cycle from PetSafe why isn’t there the ability to change modes like adding litter or weight calibration? To go along with the product itself(smart spin) I have experienced multiple “abnormal motor current” errors after a week of owner ship and I know it’s not the power supply it is directly plugged into a wall socket and not on a surge protector so that’s not it. In my research from Pet Safe themselves they say it could be due to the weight calibration being incorrect which is how all this started for me. They say the remedy is to recalibrate the litter box and it might solve the issue. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THAT IF I CANT GET TO THAT SPECIFIC MODE!!! Would not recommend this product whatsoever until PetSafe adds those features for this product(smart spin) stick with a regular litter box until they do.

I just got it today and it does not sift and it isn’t even responding to PetSafe . I’m trying to get it to manually and it will not it still says there’s a cat in there when they’re clearly isn’t this is actually horrible and we spent $300 on it. This is not worth it please do not get this.

My Son and Grandson bought this for my bday, best gift ever no more scooping! My cats started using it right away! Now they sit and watch it clean their litter after it’s done they go back in checks litter over!

The little box is great but I hope PetSafe will get better over time. Seems to not refresh unless I force refresh.

Has so many features and details for no reason but it’s designed very well and neat.
