I'd hoped at least one app by FCA would work properly. Unfortunately, this isn't the case. Just like the UConnect app, I can't sign in. I'm definitely running the most recent version...I literally just deleted and reinstalled.

I CAN login on the Mopar site. I CAN remote start, lock or unlock on the site. But neither RAMToolbox nor the other allow my active, operational, verified account to login. While I love my truck, the development team of these apps needs a refresh because it shouldn't take a major auto company months to fix phone app problems.

I entered correct information and I can look at recall work that has been done. I want to look at records history and it says not your truck, call this number. I called these confused people and wound up getting an Asian speaking agent trying to sell me SiriusXM radio to make it work. Wrong answer! Ram is an app on my iPhone. My truck radio is very basic. No touch screen or app capable so I couldn’t run Ram app there if I wanted to. My vin matches my registration and all other docs. What a piece of work! Why can’t I look at my truck history?

There is good info in RAMToolbox. I used to find information about my truck that was not in the manual. However, it’s slow, unresponsive and I woke up this morning to find a notice that my truck has recall information available but I can’t access RAMToolbox because it signs you out all the time and now isn’t recognizing my password. I requested to reset my password, got the email and when I click on the link...it does nothing.

Good info in RAMToolbox but good luck accessing it. Hopefully my truck doesn’t explode before I can access the recall information.

What can I say. Three attempts to register were unsuccessful. Can’t even get the email sent to me. Complete junk! Hope the truck I bought isn’t!!

Update: Was able to get to my account thru another source not listed in the registration process. Still no registration emails after many try’s in the application but I am in now and everything works fine. I took stars off because access/registration can not be obtained within the application although it indicates it can. Beyond the access issues everything works great.

This is very reasonably priced luxurious vehicle has a few little flaws the main one is wind buffeting any windows that are open cause extreme buffering and pop your ears I would like to know if they have a fix for this also it’s a four-wheel-drive truck that came with real smooth street tires otherwise the power and fuel economy are awesome

I have really enjoyed my new truck. The Hemi V8 is a big step up from the Grand Caravans my wife and I have been driving for 20 years as we raised 4 kids. It’s time to buy a truck we always wanted. It’s been great fun off road and drives surprisingly smooth on the interstate. We drove from Georgia to Ohio on a single tank of gas! The only issue we’ve had so far is the transmission. It has gotten stuck in first gear a few times in the early ownership until I turn the truck off and back on to reset it. It’s relatively minor, but should not be happening on a new truck. Taking it in to service to see what that’s all about. Overall though, we still are enjoying it. We just hope that lasts after the service call, Ram.

Basically all is well. Just a bit disappointed in the paint used on the front bumper. It chips and rusts quite easily. I will advise FCA and have a case made. The only other issue was a 4-Corner Air Suspension issue in cold weather. Essentially, the system blows the 40A fuse if the o/night temp drops below 25-30F. The new and improved compressor was installed and that rectified the issue. Hopefully, I will have no issues this winter.
All in all, we are really enjoying the truck.

My only negative comment is the poor gas mileage. Though two thirds of my driving is pulling a 4,000 lb. RV trailer, and at 7500 plus total miles, I’ve never gotten over 11 mpg driving at an avg. speed of 60 miles per hour. CA speed limit towing trailer is 55 miles per hour. As I drive other states, I still keep it at 60 miles per hour. I don’t use cruise control much because it boosts up the rpm’s to much when not necessary.
The power and ease of towing up hill grades nullifies some of that. My former truck strained on towing on uphill grades.

RAMToolbox updated and logged me out so next time I open app I tried my password but it would not work. Then tried the forgot password button to get an email and several times it never came. Shortly after my post of this the developers came out with an app fix. I downloaded updated install and it worked. I’m glad they were responsive to people’s complaints and released a fix in the newer release. The response comment was a little bit misleading saying we realize you are not on the most recent version so update to newer version of app. Funny, I was on the most recent version available when the problem started. A better response from the company would have been sorry for the bad app update recently, we fixed it and you should install this version. But otherwise, RAMToolbox does what is expected.

The history of the vehicle because It was not showing my history and called the number given in RAMToolbox to call and it's the FIAT only customer support (I know fiat owns all of them) the customer support associate then told me that RAMToolbox that is published by Fca is a 3rd party app. Not sure if she was wrong or I am. Anyway that's really my only gripe. Other than that I like RAMToolbox .

Buying Domestic and foreign brands for 37 years I can say that Ram trucks are the best truck in every category for the past 15 years. Ford has gone cheap in quality and Chevy has gone to garbage, their interiors have improved but still after six months already look dated. Last time I bought a dodge was in 1989 and was disappointed that quality at that time declined compared to my 1972 Charger. But since then the brand has made a serious comeback that impresses the heck out of me.

Wow!!
Nothing like it. I wanted all the safety features along with adaptive cruise. I had a ‘15 Z71 LTZ I wanted features then, GM still doesn’t have them.... maybe for’20..... they are sitting on their hands building the same old thing they have for years, Ram has hit it out of the park! This Ram is finer then anything on the market, car or truck. I already have a ‘17 wrangler Sahara 4 door and love it. I thought about a Gladiator, but my wife wanted a “real truck” we got the unlimited Ram... enough said!

I love my ram but the map never updates and I have tried usb uploaded several times but other than that everything else is good as long as you maintain everything. These trucks are for hands on type people

RAMToolbox has always been great except for when there is an update. After the latest update, the maintenance schedule is completely messed up. It does not coincide with the manual. RAMToolbox does not remember that I selected the Diesel maintenance schedule, but it’s wrong so what’s the point.

I got incredibly lucky, looked online for the Black Appearance Package Ram and it turns out the South Anchorage Lithia Super Store had the only 2020 Ram 1500 Limited BAP in AK. I went down immediately, test drive it with 21mi on it. Came back and gave them cash money for a deposit, and finished the paperwork. 3hrs later I drove my dream truck off the lot!!

The best buying experience I’ve ever had especially for a vehicle, it has been a while and something I’ve always wanted to do order a truck the way I wanted it it was well worth the wait, I’ve always been a Mopar fan.

I love everything about my 2021 Ram Laramie ! All I have done is give it a little more rumble to the exhaust, I love the look of The stock tail pipes. I could go on but I will just say all around awesome truck!

We bought our van late October we bounced around California getting use to our new unit, come the new year we packed up and have put 3,000 miles on our road trip. We plan to stay in Florida for a month then 3000 miles back, reload then head straight up coast to Canada across the top of the US, so far we are averaging 16 mph we love this van!!

I would love to be able to give these guys a good review however I can’t seem to get them to send me the registration email and yes I looked in all folders including spam and junk location. So I thought maybe I typed it wrong I’ve done the stupid thing 5 times and still no email so I can start my Acct. I even waited overnight last night. Still nada so I’ll wait and update this if I ever get it done.

I love technology! Just got a new Ram and want to try all the bells and whistles I can. Filled out a survey that mentioned RAMToolbox and was excited to try it out! I downloaded RAMToolbox , and placed my email in three times then tried a different email address and neither has shown up. I know what you’re thinking! Check spam or junk folders! Done. Nothing.

I’ll keep an eye out for the email and maybe I’ll be able to register. If I finally get in, I promise I’ll raise the stars.

I really like the appearance, finish, comfort, stability, and tow capacity of my 2014 Ram Cummins 3500 dually. However, I have never had a pickup with so many recalls and malfunction indicator light occurrences. Yes, the dealer has fixed most of them in a timely manner but some of these have occurred a long way from a dealer and have potentially been life threatening. I have actually felt I needed to change travel plans due to the risks involved with recall issues.

I like my new ram but this phone app leaves a lot to be desired. I logged in and it still thinks I have only 1 mile on my truck odometer?
I was hoping fo a bit more info. Also the manual does not even turn when I place my phone side ways?
To small a space to work with. It should give you a page by page view on the whole screen.

I was looking for a used truck, the salesmen took forever. So I sat in the back seat noticed hand embroidered seats.
Then the 18 “ home screen. All the charging ports phones, laptops 110 v out let. High tech for real not any of this false stuff.
I love my new personal space (car)
(( truck)). Rides nice, air suspension camera to hook up to a trailer. I’m quicker then ever before hooking up the trailer.
Could I make changes to the truck? YES
But after looking this is the cats meow!
Best on market today. 👍👍👍

I give it a five stars I like but it would be better if could turn the truck with RAMToolbox and control the a/c that would be perfect but as always keep up the updates

Here’s the good news This is a very quiet riding and well handling truck the controls are nice the computer screen is large I have the Laramie edition I’m happy with it and this is my third RAM pick up actually the first one was a 98 Dodge and then I had a 2015 and this is my 2018 and I’ve been happy with all of them.

I did have an electrical problem with my overhead map light and they had replace the whole overhead console this was the exact same thing that happened to my 2015 ram and at the time I brought it in the dealer told me that that was a common problem so you would’ve thought RAM would’ve figured out what the electrical problem was within in the next three years and corrected it.

The next major short coming of this vehicle which was the same thing with my 2515 is the horrible access to common maintenance items meaning the oil filter and the two fuel filters. Also the fuel filters seem way overpriced.

That being said I would still buy another one when the time comes if I need one.
