Latest update (Jul second) the game just got updated again, but nothing in my inventory has been restored for me. In other words, once the game broke and tithe developer patched an update but delete all of your inventory, it is an Oops and nothing is done. So player beware. I wouldn’t pay for anything in this game because whatever I spent with free gems I earned in game, the dev can just delete them and then takes no responsibility on it. 1 solid star (would have given 0 star if I could because I wasted $7 to remove ads).

Latest update. Thanks for restoring purchase of ad removal, but all my cards and equipments are all gone. I have spent ten of thousands of gems to buy cards and equipments, but now I am left with empty inventory? I am on timeline 4 and was building up more inventory before I move on, so it will take forever to recover back to where I was! Still rate this game 1 star. I cannot give it higher due to the developer introduced a really bad bug into the game without properly testing. Then patches aren’t working correct even on the 3rd tries. From this experience, I cannot and will not recommend this game to anyone anymore. Unfortunately this game has very potential to be a good game, but the way developer work is ruining the game completely…

I really do love playing this game, it’s fun easy brain rot to play when you don’t wanna do anything serious. However, because I’ve played it so chronically, I’ve been repeating the same levels for months now. There’s teased upgrades and battles such as skills and runes and arena that say once you reach a certain timeline you unlock them (8, 10, and 7 respectively); I’m on timeline 59 and close to lvl 3500 and they are still not in the game. The upgrades and hero armor that is in the game I’ve already completely maxed out or the odds of getting a certain piece is so rare that the pieces I’ve maxed out get doubles and just sit like that. I can see there’s been a lot of updates recently dealing with the style of the game and that’s great it is definitely looking better, but I’m ready for just a little more to be in the game about the actual gameplay instead of aesthetics.

Definitely needs and update. Cards do not increase bonus after level 10 and you get tons of duplicate cards. You can never get more than 5 warriors a capsule and it’s hard to get them past lvl 7 . Range has a limit, fire rate has a limit. Even if you get in the hundreds of thousands on the run, still caps. And why is there no sound????? I’ve played this game for months with no sound lol.

I have been playing this game a lot recently and even paid for no ads because of how much I was playing it. Starting yesterday I haven’t been able to play the game. It’s loaded up on the hero screen and everything is blank and it doesn’t let me switch to any other tab. I normally don’t leave reviews but I paid actual money on this game and I want it fixed! This game is normally 5 stars but until I can play it again I’m giving it 2.

Edit: I uninstalled and reinstalled and that allowed me to play again, but at the cost of all my progress. And now the battle mode is broken to where the barrels don’t take damage to give allies or weapons, your shots just go right through now. But the barrels still can kill you so you can’t even shoot through them to hit the enemies you need to hit for long before you have to dodge.

Timeline 5, nuclear era, lvl 542, 20/26 cards (pretty sure there’s only 20) most besides epic and legendary are lvl 8-10 my one legendary and epics are lvl 4. My equipment is all rare and epic and all at least lvl 2. I probably have over 20 guys and consistently getting six max level guys throughout every lvl I play and still can’t destroy the last block, the heath of the last two blocks go from 300K to almost a million🙄. I can’t get the last block below 500K and honestly it seems like the closer I get to it the lower my DPS gets which logically makes no sense and even then it just seems like I have less dps for the final block in general. The game gets impossible when they don’t have any new levels, pretty sure even if you spend money you’re not getting anywhere. I even bought the no adds and spend another $25 at some point, waste of money, waste of my time.

I’m on timeline 14 and unable to unlock the extras that come with getting to timeline 7, 8, and 10. No Arena, No Skills, No Runes. I keep getting the same 20 cards, but +0% increase. I’ve been doing the same timeline run through since timeline 7. Farmer->Archer->Cowboy->World War->Nuclear. So I’ve been doing the same run through for 8 timelines now. I am now unable to upgrade my warriors, as they are maxed out at level 1. And it takes 10times on Nuclear to progress to the Next Timeline, and I’m guessing that timeline 15 will be Farmer->Archer->Cowboy->World War->Nuclear. What is going on? Why am I not able to access what I’ve unlocked? Why did the game stop any progress after Timeline 7? Usually Rollic is better than this. But so far I’m extremely disappointed. All these upgrades are unnecessary when playing the same exact thing for nothing to come of it. Where are the unlocks? Why can’t I access the Arena, Skills, or Runes?

It’s an entertaining and simple game. However, I’ve hit the max level on certain equipment yet the game still gives me points toward it to upgrade, same with the cards as well, I can keep upgrading certain ones but the benefits don’t increase.
There’s also the fact that I’m now in timeline 9 but still can’t access my skills despite the game telling me they unlock at timeline 8 nor can I access the arena when it was supposed to be unlocked at timeline 7.
One last complaint is that the last four timelines have been the same: farmers to archers to cowboys to mafia to nuclear fallout. There’s no more variety and change in it and the difficulty seems to have plateaued as I’m clearing the last level but faster each time I get to it the last 3 times.
If this is just a series of glitches or a major glitch that I’m the only experiencing then it’s a bit more frustrating since there’s not even a “report bug” or “ask for help” option anywhere in the game to inform the company about the issues popping up.

All in all, like I said, it’s fairly entertaining and simple, just needs to be updated better.

As you can tell by the title, my game is working, but all assets are just black. The UI is fine: I can see the level number, I have the selection at the bottom of the screen for whatever, and there’s a screen at the end showing my coins I’ve gained. The problem is that the rest of the game is in darkness, with the only things I can see are the gates that give or take whatever and the shadows of objects(and UI as I aforementioned). The game is still playable, but compared to the ads, it’s just horrible. I can’t play without the color and everything that makes mobile games (sort of or somehow) fun. I would reconsider giving this a two-star rating as I see people can’t even play the game, but seeing the character and everything else is also important to a game’s functionality. I stand by my one-star rating.

Cyber Era in timeline 4 just feels impossible to beat. I have everything basically fully upgraded and the final block to destroy is around 750k and the one before that is 140k. It makes no sense, the rate that the health of the block goes up is significantly higher for the last block. The last three blocks go from 100k to 140k then 750k. I was going through this game at a decent pace and now am stuck for weeks. Fix the game! I have fully upgraded people with about 14 people in my group and I even use the plus 2 people if you watch an ad and I don’t even come close to beating it. I haven’t even go though the 140k but then I have to do 750k in less time?

I have a brain injury and this has been the only game in 10 years that I have found that calms my brain down.
I like the game don’t get me wrong because it helps my head, but there is so many glitches and there’s no way to report anything to anybody when the game messes up.
I paid to not have to watch the ads and yet sometimes I still have to watch the ads. Two times now I’ve had to delete the game and re-download because it glitched out to where I couldn’t even do anything on the game and I was far. This game could be better if they would fix it and have a way for us to report problems.

Thanks for making the game playable again, but you fix it to remember where I left off in the timeline and now all my gear is gone? No more cards or gear, completely start over. How does that make sense that it fixes exactly where I left off including coins and diamonds I had before the bugs, but now I have 0 gear and 0 cards?

Also, all other games I have played on my phone, whenever there is a bug or issue that makes the game unplayable, we are rewarded with things as far as “coins” or “diamonds” are concerned. But with this game, literally can’t play the game for more than 24hrs and we get nothing in compensation? Big bummer

I’ve just beat Timeline 7, and the Arena is still locked. When I look at the Arena tab, it says “reach Timeline 7 to unlock”. I thought maybe once I beat that Timeline, it might become available, but no.
And now the Skills tab which should unlock at Timeline 8, is also still locked.
Not sure why they are still locked or if these are just fake tabs that don’t actually open.
Either way, this is disappointing to play a game for a few weeks and hit this wall; also, there are daily battles and dungeons that just keep repeating after a certain point.
A lot of potential here but these things need to added or fixed to work correctly.

I got an advertisement for this game, saying it had no ads so I downloaded it and for the first day or two there was no ads and i was really surprised because usually that’s a lie. Turns out it was, day 3 there’s ads left and right, every time you complete a level. To make matters worse they flash a huge pop-up across the screen at the end of every ad telling you to spend $9.99 to remove ads. It’s mindlessly fun for awhile but ultimately boring after a couple rounds and so not worth the trouble of the ads and pop-ups and LAG. You need “energy” to complete a level and they only give you a few at a time with a long cool-down in between, so when you actually can play it’s full of ads. Generally not worth it.

This game HAD worked very well for me for the past month or so. After the last two updates, I was totally unable to play, all of my items and cards disappeared, and the ads I paid to remove are back. I will update this if these bugs get fixed but this game went from fun to totally unplayable instantly.

Edit: I’ve now tried to submit a support ticket with the designers but their website won’t even pull it up as a game they developed. This seems like an extra scummy attempt to keep people from submitting tickets so they don’t have to give out refunds because they know they just deleted everyone’s progress. Very disappointed and will be taking this up with Apple if it is not resolved shortly.

It’s a fun game, I like grinding to build up my abilities and make more progress, but you’re limited to only a few rounds of play before you’re out of “energy” and have to spend money to buy more. The energy levels refill very slowly and even if you decided the game is worth some cash to play, you’ll be shelling out constant dollars. The best deal for energy is 150 for $15. Each round is about 30 seconds to a minute of playing. So that’s 15 dollars for maybe 2 hours of a simple mobile game. Not worth it. They’ve made it too hard to be a fan of this game.

You go through energy like crazy and to accrue it over an hour isn't quick enough. Do you want us to play because to pay for energy isn't cool. Like so many games have like 10 minute cool down but an hour? Oh yeah pay to win please because that's you taking the fun away. You can get 10 energy at the lowest and that's gone before 15 minutes. So 1 hour for 1 energy that can be used and then another wait. Wake up and about 10 energy. Either make us pay to play it or faster energy accruing. I give 2 stars because it's slightly fun but not enough to make me wait 10 hours to get a decent play out of it.

after a certain progress point the game does not allow you to advance. upgrading cards past level 10 gives a +0% boost. skills unlock at timeline 8, runes at 10, arena at 7. i am at 12 and have none of the above unlocked. also, every timeline after 6 is identical. every battle stage is identical, with slightly larger enemy HP, and every dungeon stage is identical. also it is not possible to collect enough stones to reach capacity 6, and if you upgrade capacity to get there the bar just stays at max and doesn't give a 6th warrior. the game was fun while i could progress but now it's pointless and stupid. please update this and actually finish making the game before i delete it.

I enjoy the gameplay, but I did want to outline a couple complaints I have. 1.) If I’m forced to watch an ad between every level, you should provide a reward. Currently, I’m given the option to either watch an ad and receive double coins, or watch an ad and receive nothing. 2.) I had an in-game pop-up that offered “no ads and +1000 diamonds” for $0.01. Heck of a deal, so I clicked the purchase button. But it wanted to charge me $8.49. That’s a massive increase in price. I tried three times to get the $0.01 price, but each time the game tried to charge $8.49. I have screenshots to prove the ad showed price.

I do like this game, but am giving it only three stars, due to contacting the developers twice and getting no response. The issue is that the capacity bar will NOT go beyond 5. It shows 6, but no matter how many bricks you collect, it never even registers, and even if you buy expanded capacity, THAT only gets you to 5-1/2, and nothing after that. So…don’t expect capacity to go past 5, until the developer fixes this issue. It’s been this way for over 8 months now, and customer support hasn’t ever responded to my bug reports.

I liked the game a lot and the changes that had been made while playing it. I was looking forward to the arena feature unlocked on timeline 7 and the traits or whatever feature in timeline 8, when I hit timeline 7 the arena feature doesn’t change. It keeps saying I need to be timeline 7 to unlock, I reached timeline 8 and still no change and then the feature unlocked in timeline 8 also does the same thing. I’m now on timeline 9 and I’m about ready to delete the game. Why have additional features and goals to reach in a game and not follow through with them?

While I enjoy this game I cannot give it more than two stars. First, because (unsurprisingly) the ad that brought me to the game in the first place lied. It said you would not need an internet or data connection, and you most certainly do. The fact there isn’t endless ads however makes that not as much of a problem as the main reason for my rating.

The energy requirements. I downloaded this game because I needed something relaxing and mindless to play and was surprised to find that it requires you to have ‘energy’ to play. And that energy bar takes an obscene amount of time to fill back up. Take that ridiculous thing away and my rating for this game would increase. Until then, it remains at two.

I got an ad for this game that said it had zero advertisements, and I should’ve known it was a lie from the start. Once I opened the game I saw that there were optional ads for you to get free stuff, but I thought that maybe what they meant is that there wouldn’t be any forced ads. So I played the game for a day or two and got to the modern era, but then it started to advertise me every time I completed a level. Not only that, there are advertisements at the bottom of the screen whenever you’re playing. And you have a limited amount of times that you can play the game per day, and if you want to get a little bit of extra time you can either pay real money or watch a maximum of two advertisements to get four extra energy total. The game gives you just enough time for you to get addicted to it, and then starts to squeeze you dry for every dollar you have. I doubt anybody will see this review, but I hope they do because people need to stop supporting these mobile game developers who are clearly trying to take advantage of children who just randomly stumbled across TimelineUp .

I agree with the rest of the reviews, I’m stuck on Nuclear era and can’t continue. And everything is now stuck in the same era and won’t move on. It’s a solid game and time passer, but unless they update and fix the bug, I suppose this is the end of the game. I am finding that there are no cards for nuclear guys so I can’t increase their performance. Even though I must have close to 50 of them they keep dying close to the end because they don’t have enough power to knock down the last two barriers which are 1,000,000+ damage. Kinda frustrating but I know how it goes with these games. This is a solid game though so I’d hate to see it go by the wayside. Also my dungeon and battle eras are stuck as well, so I’m in an endless loop. Please fix!

I like this game. I find it relaxing. But I shouldn’t be limited to 10 “lives” and it take an hour to regain one life when I’ve paid for the ad free version. There should be at least a “free play” section to play when you’ve paid and have gone through energy. Especially since you won’t bank it. The only way to ever have more than 10lives is to beat a level. If you have beaten 2 levels and have 5 lives from each level, you don’t earn more on your timer unless you’ve used some of your 10 lives.

Also, no instructions anywhere. I have no idea what the red button like currency is supposed to do or any of the other upgrades. I’m just mucking around trying to figure it out.

The game was nice and playable at the start. Of course with the forced advertising videos at the end of every level. You have to pay a one time fee if you would like the forced ads to stop. Even if you do, game shows that there are new game play modes which can be unlocked when you reach timeline 4,5,7,8,10. But after reaching timeline 6 they made it impossible to buggy to proceed. You can see that the health bar of blocks is similar to last stage of timeline 5 but you still can’t reach half way. Even if you add more warriors it is still not possible. I am not sure if arena or other features of the game are not ready yet but making the game unplayable so players don’t reach those features is not a good way to do that. Not sure if this was added in recent patch or not but that seems to be case.

Why bad? You get 1 energy per hour. 1 run cost 1 energy. “Best no WiFi game for long car rides” is their ad, yet in 1 hour you’re out of energy. About 20 minutes later that first energy you used is back so you can get in 1 more run. After about 5 runs?…they stop you from being able to double your rewards from watching ads but you can pay 50 gems to get double instead and if you run out of gems you can buy more gems or if you say no thanks on getting the double reward, they force an ad anyways. Basically “give us money if you want reward!” Any game that has a limit for how long you can play due to energy being needed is an automatic 1 star from me, especially with the practices this game is doing.

When I first saw the ad for this game I just assumed it was just another one of those games that presents one thing and the gameplay is something else. I was not only pleasantly surprised but now I'm hooked! I've seen ads for games like this for a very long time with little to no success actually finding a game that was what it showed and that I liked. This game hit both the targets for me and I hope you find the same enjoyment I have and will continue to have.
