Boycat is so easy to use and exactly what I’ve been looking for! Makes it easier to shop consciously and ethically when we can. Literally an essential every where I go! The developers are taking in our feedback and working hard to provide updates to Boycat to make it an even better experience, which I appreciate.

it can be so hard to be a conscious consumer, especially because of monopolies and “parent” companies. Boycat is so helpful and i’ve found it easy to use! i do think there is room for more within Boycat, but i believe that will grow with time and as Boycat developers are able to put time into it. i would appreciate it listing the boycott campaigns, but i also understand theres a lot of limitations there! it could be nice to have a social aspect to it, like listing your favorite boycott-approved items for your friends to see alternatives. but again, i know this will take time. i appreciate the team behind this and i’ve sent it to many of my friends!! thank you ❤️🍉

I think this is an amazing app and they could a little more features like if you want to search a restaurant or something but other then that an amazing app

i went to the store today and tested this out on 🔵⚪️ supporting brands as well as 🔴🟢⚫️⚪️ supporting brands, and Boycat seems to be displaying correct information about the companies. it’s super easy to navigate, too.

The email issue is finally fixed. I found the email in a spam filter.

My only complaint is the sign up option won’t let me type :(

ive used this app a bunch and what shocked me the most was just how fast it is at scanning and giving a yay or nay! i thought it would take a while to search or something but its so efficient, im super pleased.

I can’t seem to get past the “sign up” screen to actually input the boycotts I support. Not sure if it’s my phone or if it’s actually Boycat ?

When I try to sign up it’s not letting me to press the letters or numbers

I’ve heard good things about Boycat but any password I type in says it doesn’t meet the requirements.

I scanned items I know are on the boycott list (Downy) and it still said it’s ok to buy. Please fix Boycat !

App started making my whole phone slow done

I’ve been using this when going out to buy snacks. I really love how Boycat explains why each product/company is bad, as well as providing the source. I also like how you can find and suggest alternatives! My one suggestion would be to have a toggle where you can make the text a bit bigger. The text for products is a bit small, but still readable.

Worked fine the first few times but now the camera won’t focus on the barcodes! Other than this I love Boycat and I hope this issue can be resolved. Free Sudan, Free Congo, Free Palestine

Boycat is great and is seriously getting better every week. Would highly encourage anyone to give it a try.

i've been waiting for an app like this! while i have not had any issues with Boycat myself, i understand that it's currently still being worked on and added to! i love the new list feature, makes it so easy to just search for brands. wonderful app made by wonderful people!! Boycat is a must have!

I feel like this is a fab idea, but the only cause you can support is pro-h*mas? I was looking to boycott antiqueer/trans and racist companies — not looking for ways to make things easier for terrorist militant factions 🙁

I know the basic brands that should be boycotted, however when I scan products under a brand that should be considered under boycott, it is considered safe by Boycat . I’m not sure if this you’re past a beginner.

Great app shows what is items to boycott for 🇵🇸 It is great and even shows sources on why the item is to be boycotted. Free 🇵🇸 and please download Boycat.

Boycat is very light and clean. No unnecessary features or buttons or other junk. Very straightforward and easy, which is a must for an app you want to use consistently.
The list of companies is pretty big so they’ve done proper work.

My only wish, for the sake of even easier and faster usability, is for the barcode scanner to simply grab the barcode as soon as it recognizes it, instead of making user tap Scan. Some apps have that feature so its possible.

Hopefully Boycat gets supported so the list of companies is up to date, etc. but please dont add any unneeded features or steps.

Boycat works fine and I enjoy keep vetting and validating every item we buy. Our money should be spend right

They have been supporting their occupation since 1948. Do you want to fight back? You don’t have the money to support your beliefs? The least you can do is NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY TO SUPPORT THEIR OCCUPATION!

Great app. Please if the developers can make another version for the Middle east it would be even better. Much love.

This little app’s impact is huge. The convenience alone is transformative— it was getting exhausting to Google every product before buying it and comb through subsidiary websites. This makes it easy. Mad props to the developer/s, way to do something meaningful

The idea is great but some bugs are preventing it from becoming greater - for example, signup doesn’t work at all and shows an error screen that says “database load error after signup”. So even though it didn’t sign me up it say it may have and to top it off there is a load error. Hope the developer will fix these soon. I have yet to check Boycat with many products by scanning which I’ll do over next few weeks.

Boycat truly accomplished its purpose of telling you what items support/do not support Israel. You can quickly scan a barcode and get info within 3 seconds. I highly recommend installing!
